  1. All dates in Redtail should be in date format not "last Tuesday" or "one day ago"

    This should be standard for notes and reminders and activities and workflows - wherever there is a date it should be in a standard date format. Using "Wednesday" to indicate next Wednesday is confusing and frustrating. It would be so much simpler to have date 1/13/2021. It never has to be updated once it gets beyond your time frame of "three Tuesdays ago" or whatever it is.

  2. Please make it possible again to view the entire contents of ALL of the notes, not just the older ones. This is very problematic for us.

    With the change to the notes, we have had top copy and print them to be able to follow a thread of conversation. It is very time-consuming and counter productive.

  3. Restore full note view to inlude the full note, start date and complete date.

    Restore full note view to inlude the full note, start date and complete date instead of us having to click the three dots to view the entire note. This view was removed during a previous update. Rather than removing features that we have come to rely and forcing us to use something that we didn't want changed, just add a view option so we can choose what view we want to have.

  4. Viewing Notes section

    Someone decided to make notes shorter and now we cannot see the notes added to Activities.....terrible when trying to scan through notes to find an issued

  5. Option to change the note time stamp

    Following up on T# 1392460
    User was unable to submit idea , he never rcvd the link from noreply@trymagic.com

    We'd like to be able to change the note time stamp view.
    Within the first 7 days,it shows as "last monday" , "last thursday" etc
    we'd like to be able to see the calendar date instead. 07/11/21

    Please update our notes section back to what they were - we take and add detail notes and want to be able to read the complete note without having to click into it - when we are on a call with a client now it is very hard to find the exact notes ugh

  7. Color Options in NOTES

    I would like to see color options for alpha and numeric for Notes so besides being BOLD the line or word could also be a certain color like you can to din Word and Excel.

  8. copy note

    When I copy a note from one contact to another (ie - from husband to wife), the date copied should be the date of the original note. It's currently set up to date stamp as today's date. So if I'm copying notes from over the last year from husband to wife, everything is showing up on the wife's page with today's date, which isn't helpful.

  9. Have the ability to add and move notes around within the note history

    In certain situations, an advisor may not be able to add a note to a client account on the day a meeting or phone call happened. With that said, it would be extremely ideal to be able to add notes in for a specific date that would correspond with the actual date the meeting, phone call or Zoom meeting took place. That way, the notes would consistently be in chronological order. The ability to also move around previous notes, since this option isn't currently available, would be ideal.   10. A way to protect notes from inadvertently deleted

    Is there a way to better protect notes before we have a chance to save them? While talking to a client and taking notes on Retail I often will pull up another record and in doing so go back to where I had notes only to find them gone. If there was a feature like Word where is you close a document without saving it the software asks you if you want to save before it closes.

  11. Ability to Print Family Notes

    Currently there is no way to print "Family notes" in your reports. You can print individual client notes history by using the "notes by contact" report - but you are not able to select more than one contact. Please add the ability to print family notes by adding that check box like in the client notes section or by allowing us the ability to add multiple contacts to the report.

  13. Please add ability to edit notes

    Because we cannot see client information behind the note, we have to often flip back and forth (save note, get add'l into, go back into the note to add comment. It would be much better to allow us to edit the same note rather than doing comments (which are hidden) or posting multiple notes for the same call/interaction. If it's a compliance issue, then set something like 24 hours to be able to edit a note before it's locked.

  14. Ability to do a keyword search through notes, and ability to search for notes added during a specific time period.

    We have times we don't remember which client we submitted a note for, so to search for the keyword in the notes category would be great. Or even search for all of the notes submitted during a specific time period. We can currently only view the notes submitted in the past week. What if we need to look at the notes submitted the previous week? There is no option, record, or list anywhere to access this.

  16. Add to Notes Follow Up

    In the notes section of a contact, there is a box to allow you to Create a Follow-Up Activity. I would like a box for Create an Opportunity. Often after a discovery meeting or review, you will find new assets.

  17. NOTES SECTION - COLLAPSED VIEW !!!!!

    PLEASE PLEASE, restore the previous view in NOTES section in order to see past notes/activities. We shouldn't have to click the 3 dots in order to see the notes, or at least give your users, also know as your customers, the ability to choose whether we want to see things one way or another. At this point, it is important enough for my business for us to start considering other CRM systems. Instead of making improvements, Redtails goes back in capabilities/functionality.

    When working on a note, it's frustrating not to be able to see the contact details from the overview page. It would be very handy to be able to set a preference where we could "expand all notes" on the front overview section page of a client the same way the notes appear under the note tab.

  19. put date on all notes and activities not "today"

    Put date on all notes and activities instead of "today","last Monday", etc.
    When looking at a printed note at a later date, there is no way to know what the date of the note was when it shows "Today at 4:22pm".

    The date from day one will save confusion over what date was last Monday, etc.....

  20. Ability to turn on/off the automatic notes generated from completed workflows & activities

    When a Redtail Workflow or Activity is completed, the system automatically generates a note in the client's Notes tab. We would like the ability to control if that is automatic or not because we are having to go in and delete them manually to keep our notes section clean. We can always reference completed Activities and Workflow summaries, so this seems redundant, especially because the note that is generated is not detailed and rather more of a summary.
