  1. Creator receiving own team email notification

    In old RT the creator of an activity would receive an email notification when selecting "team notify". That no longer is the case. It was helpful in that it was a second look at what you had sent out and would maybe make you realize you had made a mistake in the activity you originally created. I would like for this feature to come back.

  2. Include Phone number of contact on activities report

    On the activities Report It give me the contact but not the phone number I understand that when I am on the computer I can hover over the contact name and get it but I print my reports out and take them with me and then when I have a free minute or two I will make phone calls.

  3. Searchable activities on Dashboard/Today's Overview

    It would be good to be able to search Activities on Dashboard or Today's Overview to find particular activities for multiple clients (such as spouses or employees of the same company).

  4. Activity report based on date activity was created

    We would like to create an activity report based on the date the activity was created as opposed to the date of the actual activity. We would like to use this report in order to double check all the activities that were created each day and be able to look at a daily report of all activities added.

  6. Contact name should show first for activities

    The name of the contact should be the first thing we enter for a new activity. We prefer to use a simple flow:

    • Who's it for?
    • What's it about?
    • Who's owns the activity?

    When we open a calendar entry, the first thing that shows up is the Subject when the first thing we want to see is the Contact. Also, when our calendar gets full and appointments are stacked, we don't see names. It would be nice to see the client first from the Add Activity screen through the "More Details" screen for the activity.

    Maybe this can be achieved…

  7. Add a rolling reminder to contact a client X days after last contact

    Set a reminder or activity that automatically prompts to contact a client at a specified interval after the last contact. That is, activity automatically repeats 30 days (or 90 days, or 180 days) after the last activity is completed. Currently repeating tasks must be hard coded to repeat at specified intervals; they are not sensitive to completion of the last iteration of the task.

  8. Allow multiple activities to be created off of a single linked note

    Multiple activities may be activated by a single note. Why post the same note multiple times or enter the same text into each activity to have a linked note to each activity? This will streamline the notes section with regards to linking and streamline the process. Allows less manipulation by those assigning activities.

  9. Show Multi-day Activities in Today's Overview "Open Activities" Section

    If we add an activity to the calendar that starts on Wednesday and ends on Friday, it will only show up under Open Activities on Today's Overview on Wednesday. We would like it to show up on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

  10. Notes and account(s) linked within an activity

    Currently, when an activity that is linked to an account, has notes added within the activity, those notes appear in the notes section separately from the activity itself and the account which was originally linked to the activity is not linked to the note. I would suggest notes that are added within the activity get rolled up into the activity so there is one thread/history so all the separate notes that were added within that activity are bundled in one section with the appropriate account number linked to the original activity.   11. Bulk action to add all selected contacts to one new activity

    It would be nice if we could select multiple contacts from the search screen and add them all to a single activity via bulk actions. Right now the only option under bulk activities is to create one activity per contact, or to create a task and manually add each contact.

  12. Please fix past due tasks to show on contact page again (Twelve month window).

    Please return default range for open tasks to last six months and next six months. The new "Open Activities for Next 30 Days" is frustrating.

    First, the goal of the CRM is to quickly see what is going on with the client. If I just met with the client and didn't complete the meeting notes and tasks, there is no indication there is recent activity on the contact page. (i.e. looks like nothing is going on, and the client was just in the office yesterday.)

    Second, Clicking on PAST DUE activities on the top of the contact page DOES NOT…

  13. Add a "Call History" log similar to "Email History"

    Add a log for phone calls that can have an associated client, sound (call recording) file, description, and time and date. It would be nice to have this set up on the contact overview page so that an overly filtered report or search wouldn't need to be done every time. This would be especially useful to have on hand when a client calls so that no matter which team member or employee answers, they can quickly and efficiently see all phone communication with the client.

  14. Update Repeat Options for Recurring Activities

    Standard repeat options are missing.

    For REPEATS MONTHLY, specifically when you choose "Repeats Monthly ON" you are given the choices of FIRST SECOND THIRD FOURTH LAST and the days of the week. In addition to the days of the week, you should also have the option of DAY and WEEKDAY. Which would allow you to setup these types of repeating schedules; FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH, FIRST WEEKDAY OF THE MONTH, LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, LAST WEEKDAY OF THE MONTH.

    For REPEATS YEARLY, you should have the same options.

  15. Activity Privacy Options- change default from Everyone or allow users to change default

    The new Activity Privacy Option defaults to Everyone. Few if any databases are going to want Everyone to see activities or to see colored blocks on their calendar marked Private. That means thousands and thousands of changes to activity privacy display. INSTEAD, change the default to Only Attendees, OR, allow users to change their default.

  16. Uploading contacts into Redtail CRM

    We should be able to upload contacts into the Redtail CRM without having to go thru the helpdesk. This isn't an uncommon activity anymore. Other CRM's allow this to happen.

  17. Glitch when multiple users on same Task

    If two people have the same task open at the same time the second person who saves the task overwrites any information entered or changed by the first person to save the task.

  18. Optimize Tailwag to work with Microsoft Edge Browser

    Hopefully this is already on the Redtail agenda. Whereas Tailwag works in Edge, formatting is lost in activities. For example, hard returns are removed from formatting in activities for one big run-on sentence. Otherwise, many features work much better in Edge than IE or even Chrome. It's generally less buggy.

  19. Please add "Non-Qualified" and "Non-Qualified Joint" to the drop down menu, for when tax qual. box is NOT checked.

    The drop down menu is active even when the "tax qualified" box is not checked. It therefore should include options for "Non-Qualified" and "Non-Qualified Joint." We should not have the sole options of using "other," or simply leaving this field blank.

  20. When creating new activity, give users the option to make the "more details page" the default.

    Currently, there are lots of suggestions for fixing the abbreviated activities dialogue box. Many users are unhappy with the multi-step process for assigning activities to other users, adding notes, etc. It's very inefficient and lots of users prefer the Leapfrog approach to adding activities - one dialogue box with all the details on one page. It was very efficient.

    Maybe the best solution to making the process more efficient in Tailwag is to bypass the abbreviated dialogue box. There are two options.

    1. Get rid of the abbreviated dialogue box Altogether. When the user clicks add activity, Tailwag goes directly to…
