Notice of Contact with same name
We previously were able to see a notice at the top of the add contact page that a contact already exists with the same name. This isn't showing up anymore and was really helpful since we have a lead source that generates several leads per month. Can we get this added back?

Add Contact Screen: Be able to Indicate that the Contact is the Owner and not Just an Employee
Be able to Indicate that the company associated with the contact is the Owner and not an Employee. A Contact can be the Owner of Several Companies. Currently on the add contact, there is no way to associate that a contact is the owner, just that the contact is an employee.
Once the contact is entered, Yes there is the ability to add lines to the Memberships as an Owner, but seems time consuming to do this
I realize that the title can be owner as well.4 votes -
Family Split Option
If a family unit splits off - child as an adult - or divorce ... easily split off clients onto there own family unit.

Add 2 additional "roles" to Contact Details. In addition to Writing Advisor and Servicing Advisor, we would LOVE to have "CSR" and "Analyst"

To add on the contact page a place to list beneficiaries
Add a place holder for primary and contingent beneficiaries

broadcast email
If I run a quick list to show all clients that have email and a husband/wife both have the same email in their records, the broadcast email gets sent twice to the same address. I currently have to review hundreds of contacts and uncheck anyone that has a duplicate email. I would like the system to disregard duplicate emails and only send once for each email provided

Sort Seminars by Date of Seminar
Seminars are sorting by date added, not the date of the seminar when choosing a seminar from a contact.

Copy Roles selection to the Spouse in a new contact
Now that you can select Roles in the Contact Add Screen, could the system copy those Roles to the spouses record, if they are also setup in the same screen? I noticed that Permissions copy over, but the Roles did not.

Set Roles when Creating new Contact
When adding a new contact, we can set the permissions (which is a great addition, thank you!) but you can't set the roles without going into the contact page. It would be useful to be able to set the roles there in the create screen because we have workflows that automate when a new contact is added. Right now they default to one person, because if the workflow automates and the roles aren't set, it assigns to no one. Data import
We really need to be able to perform data imports on our own, to import data for new clients via an upload file. It is cumbersome to have to enter data by hand or to have to email support whenever we need to enter new client data into Redtail.
