add automation to head of household record
Allow automations to be assigned to the Head of Household record only. Example, we have a husband and wife and the husband is head of household. They decide to terminate their relationship with us and we have a Client Termination workflow that will start when the contact is changed to Former Client. Therefore, the workflow will start for each of the contacts, husband and wife. But we process 95% of our clients as a household, not as individual clients. We currently have to delete the workflow that is under the spouse record.

Automatic Activity after Opportunity Stage is complete - "Closed Won"
I want the ability to create an automation when and Opportunity stage is moved to "Closed Won" that is could automatically create a new activity.
This would be helpful for updating CRM account information, planning software, etc. And as a benefit, it would then also potentially trigger a workflow as well.

zapier
Need a way to directly intergrate Redtail with other applications. Zapier needs to be built out so that when we update a contact from lead -> client of vice versa it can update other applications. For example, if I put a tag into someone in Redtail, I would like the tag to be able to "zap" to my email list (currently using ActiveCampaign). Would love it if it also copied the email sent from AC to Redtail. We need more flexibility like salesforce has.

Email Notification when a client turns 62 (i.e. becomes eligible for Social Security)
Is it possible for Redtail to send me an email or somehow notify me when a client turns 62 (i.e. becomes eligible for Social Security)?

Seminar Automation Link
I would like there to be an option for the trigger to be Seminar Created. In our office a lot of tasks are focused around our Seminars.

Include client in automation emails
It would be very helpful to include the linked contact in the email received for automation templates.

create a special reminder for important milestone ages.
We are looking for a reminder specifically targeting certain ages, such as 62, 65, and 66. This would make it easy to pinpoint those ages that require specific attention. Thanks.

Hold Time
Rather than waiting on hold for however many minutes before a tech support associate comes online (today 12 minutes) have your system allow the caller to leave a call back number that will be answered in the same order it was received without having to remain on hold.
Just a thought.

automation emails people in a role
I want to see an option for an automation to not just email a user or a team but someone in a role. If I am creating a automation to let the advisor know something happened I want to make sure I get an email to the that client's advisor, not all of them. That way if the advisor changes I don't have to remember to change the user emailed on these automations but instead it will automatically keep emailing the new advisor (that we quickly changed in bulk).

Allow status or category to be automated based off of next activity
This would be specifically helpful for scheduling.
If you want to make sure all of your prospects are being followed up on and would like to categorize those you are actively pursuing separately from those you are not actively pursuing, it would be very helpful to have an automation feature which selects status or category based on whether or not a contact has an activity scheduled.

Automations- Add if Primary or Preferred Condition
Please add the condition "If Primary" and "if Preferred" under the conditions options in automations. No reason why it should only be type.. many things need to happen if a clients changes their primary mailing address or home address or preferred email address. Not all clients have the same type of mailing or email adddress and we don't seem to have the option to specify and/or scenario. Example: If an active client changes their email address- we need an automation to link a workflow to alert the team to change their various systems ONLY if it was their primary email…

Know Your Customer Automation
I would want to be able to automate the Know your Customer data. For example, if I log a note or complete a review activity, I may want it to update "First Review Date" in KYC, so the calendar tracker would align to my actual calls.

set a Contact Permission when a Contact Status is changed (for example, to client from prospect)
Right now, you can have an automatic contact permission, but only when the contact is created. If you create prospects, and then convert them to clients, there is no way to have a permission created automatically.
Since many of us create "prospects" prior to them becoming "clients", it would be very helpful to have permissions changed when we add certain information such as Social Security number, etc, which we don't have when they are prospects.

New Client Questionnaire upload to create new contact record
Have the ability to upload & map a new client form/questionnaire into a new contact record. You would upload your new client or prospect form that contains all of their personal data, map it to the options in Redtail, then any time a new form gets uploaded it would create a new contact record and automatically populate all of their information. This would cut down on manual data entry time and prevent human error & typos.

Add Automation Trigger for "Created by User"
There are several Automation Trigger requests, most, if not all of them are great ideas. Please also add an Automation Trigger for when an Object or Record is "Created by User".

On the automation Templates would like to see the Category added. So that an activity will be automatically generated from type of category
Automate by category- Can we put in an automatic activity that will auto generate on a clients account by what category they are in? Like AAA , AA, A, B, C or Deceased. So once a clients category is changed it should automatically set up the auto activities for that client. Also when we change client category to closed/deceased could an automatic activity generate to close all activities on client?

Automation Create & Assign Workflow
I would like to be able to have the automation create a workflow and assign it to the person who triggered the automation.
For instance, Person A in the office adds a New Contact with the Status set to Prospect. We have a workflow for the steps that need to be done immediately when there is a new prospect. I would like to be able to create the workflow AND assign the workflow to Person A.

Automation: Address Change Triggered by Archiving Address
Address Change Trigger should not be activated when you archive an address. It results in double notifications if you have a New Address Trigger.
We currently add the new address and archive the old address. This results in two automation triggers when there should really only be one. We can't get rid of the address change trigger, because we still need it in case an existing address turns out to be incorrect and needs to be updated.
Please remove archiving addresses as an "Address Change" for the purposes of the trigger or allow us to filter that out in the…
