I am amazed that with Reg BI, Covid, and the myriad of federal regs that appear annually, improving the Client Review section would garner a higher level of urgency at Redtail. This category (as has the similar others) been on the list for some 5-10 years and the last notice posted from technology is 9-12 months ago. As we need to operate as fiduciaries (and the brokerage community is moving closer to that standard), we need better record keeping and processes to maintain our client relationships (and to provide CYA)!

Up to 258 votes from the 150 I noted June 2018 and yet there is still no action here. What is the holdup?????

The simple, most logical fix to this issue is to not create a next review on the calendar as an appointment but to add a phone call or a task to book the next review at some future date. That way we can control the meeting. But we need to be able to actually set the date for the activity and not rely on some arbitrary "x" months in the future (dates often end up on holidays or weekends). Not sure why this issue has not been addressed in the past 3.5 years with this many votes to fix!!!

There are more than 150votes on this issue, it's obviously a sore spot with advisors. First Review Date should be titled Last Review Date (reason is self-explanatory) and the we should be able to manually enter a next review date, not have it automatically calculated (monthly, every 3 months, on the 15th will put reviews on Saturday's and Sunday's). This suggestion has been open since 2017 - is there ever going to be any action on this????

First review date should be re-named "Last Review Date" - also need to able to manually enter a date - makes no sense to pick a day or date based on an arbitrary one month, two month, etc (So I pick an actual date and it falls on a a Saturday or Sunday, what then?). I understand the need to create automation but it doesn't fit every client - give us the option to enter a date manually.

Here we are some 2 years beyond the suggestion read but no movement. Sending a bulk email with a suggested portfolio change and needing to attach prospecti on the suggested funds - cannot attach multiple files. Have to combine all prospecti into one file to attach - not efficient and confusing to the client. CMON RT! this is a compliance issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still no movement on this issue! how hard is it to add the ability to link a note to an activity. as it stands now, I may enter a note to a contact then realize it relates to an open or closed activity, I have to copy, paste the note to the activity note area then delete the original note losing the logged date and time of that note. too many steps.

Is there any new movement on this issue? I am wasting quite a bit of time getting the notes attached to the correct activity.

Please push to add this feature. With Covid19 I am scheduling more calls/video conferences with clients - as the activity for the meeting is on the calendar, and I am using Mobile Assistant for dictation, the notes are automatically being attached to the client file. I am having to copy the note to add it to the notes tab in the activity so I have the entire meeting in one place and deleting the prior note from Mobile Assistant so there are not 2 versions of the same note. I would much more efficient if I could just select the notes tab in the activity and select "attach an existing note" instead.

Why can we not link a note to an open/existing activity. We can create a new activity from a note but not link a new note to an existing activity. I use Mobile Assistant and will dictate notes from a client meeting. I would like the note to show up in the activity to keep things together. I am having to copy and paste from the note to the note section in the activity then delete the prior note so there not 2 copies. We should be able to open the note and link it to the activity.

Especially when using Mobile Assistant. You dictate a note for an appointment but the note doesn't come in for 8 business hours, and then it comes in as a note attached the client. The dictation is CYA on the activity. Should be able to attach it directly to an existing activity to keep the notes organinzed.

When using Mobil Assistant to dictate a note, it is placed automatically in the notes section. When that note relates to an activity, it would be great if, instead of copy and pasting in the linked notes area of the activity, we could search for an existing note and create the link there. (I like to see the notes for the activity when I am looking at the completed activity when I am reviewing for the next meeting)

Still waiting on movement here after 2 years - multiple accounts (some same type - i.e. IRA, SEP, BDA IRA) but no way of knowing which account is which when linking to a task or a note!

5 years later from first post and 17 months after review and yet no movement here. I don't understand what takes so long to make this logical change. Looking at an acct number with a not of the investment type does us no good, especially when there is more than one of the same type (2 529 plans - which one belongs to which beneficiary????). Come on RT - let's see some action!

This is also noted in another suggestion holding 68 votes - it's noted as received and under discussion but has been for some time. I don't understand what the issue is here - seems a no-brainer that closed accounts should not be accounted for on this screen - does not give an accurate picture of the practice.

Formatting of broadcast emails is still in the stone age - we need to adjust fonts, add superscript for footnotes, import a picture, etc.

Work around in having the trust show up in the accounts section - When entering the ownership of the account, list the grantor first and list the trust as the joint account holder - account will now show up when viewing the family accounts

Agree - open workflows need to be seen from the dashboard and not just activities that are due on that date - should show current and past due (with date due) workflow tasks otherwise things are falling through the cracks.

More information is needed internally before a decision can be made. Nothing is needed from Redtail clients at this time.

I'm confused by more than 100 things to accomplish in a day. If 100 items take an average of 15 minutes per activity to complete, that would take 25 hours of the 24 hour day. Are you including activities that are assigned to others in the practice? Perhaps having the option to filter by "Assigned To" would solve the problem.

Also need to take into account weekends. I have workflows for reviews set for 2 days prior to the meeting to ensure information has been reviewed and any new forms have been prepared. If the review appointment is set for a Tuesday or Wednesday, the workflow task falls on Saturday or Sunday - these should default to the Friday before when weekends become the task date.
as of 10-15-2022 there are 1208 votes on this issue yet no movement! Why do we bother to provide feedback if they aren't going to listen?
