This is a real issue, it is way to easy to overlook comments. Even if they're slow to load, we need an option to have them automatically expand - perhaps in preferences. This would need to be a default at the user level so that they always expand to ensure that comments are not missed.
At a minimum, a different color, bold, something to make the fact that comments exist stand out.

I was told the comment fields don't display because of speed of loading. Perhaps, but people use this in different ways. I want those comments to be open so I can see them, otherwise is it very easy to miss them. At least give the user an option as to whether comments should be automatically expended or not.

It would be super helpful to have a way to drop to bottom of the contacts note page - meaning all the way down to the very first note every created. Sometimes we need see notes from when a client first came on board. It is tedious to try to scroll down as a new page of notes loads page by page, unsure of how long its going to take to get to the very first note. For a client of 25 years, that can be quite a ways down the list of notes. (using a notes report is a clumsy way to get this information. Would like it on the notes page)

It would be very helpful for there to be an option to display emails in a threaded manner, with or without the email content included.

Threaded notes - it would so helpful to be able to create note threads, kind of like a message board. For example, client calls, we call back, client calls again leaves a more detailed message, etc. If those were all in one thread it would be much easier to follow communication, as opposed to how it is now with multiple separate notes.
Comments are close, but don't quite capture the concept because they're not searchable and certainly are not very visable that there are even comments made to a note.
