  1. Automation Trigger Event: Client Age

    This would allow us to trigger Workflows or Notifications when clients achieve a specific ages: 18, 21, 59.5, 60, 62, 65, 67, 70, 72, etc.

    Some use case examples:
    1. UTMA registration needs to be changed
    2. Minimum social security claiming age achieved
    3. Remind client to sign up for Medicare
    4. RMD age reached

  2. upload pdf into email signature

    If we could take an image and upload it into our email signature (pdf, jpg) rather than needing a URL to do this.

    Trying to change my password but it's not obvious as to where I should go. This option should be more obvious on the CRM.

  4. Doc viewer within the CRM Doc Storage Page

    Every time I need to view a document in the CRM document storage area I have to download to my computer to open it in Adobe. This causes a duplicate document to be placed in my download file. Redtail needs an embedded viewer on the CRM documents storage area to be able to examine within Redtail.

  5. Is there a way to only see recent client contact e-mails within Redtail?

    Currently I am unable to filter e-mails to and from my contact clients in Redtail. When I go to Redtail, scroll to reports then filter, all e-mails within last 30 days for example, I generate a list of all my e-mails from vendors, advertisement etc. Would like a way to filter only e-mails from my clients that have an e-mail address listed in contacts.

  7. Provide archiving rules and exemptions with compliance filtering

    We like having the ability to see emails sent from all advisors to any client, however there is no way to exempt our spam emails, or filter out internal staff emails that should be kept private. We've deleted our emails from contact records, but b/c they are tied to our user profiles, they still filter in. The email history is filtered with junk email and multiple threads of the same message when multiple users are CC'd. My CCO is still using Global Relay for compliance b/c there's nothing to help filter for a keyword or other parameters that are essential.…

  8. Adding a strikethrough option similar to how you can bold and underline text

    I think it would be helpful to add a strikethrough text option just like how there is a bold text and underline text option. This would allow you to strikethrough the next when you have completed a step in the description box of an activity.

  9. Be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed

    We have been able to add linked notes to an activity after it was completed for well over a year since I have been using Redtail. I just found out it was a bug and we weren't supposed to be able to do so. This is so much easier and quicker and many less steps to be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed. It should be an available option.

  10. Add Citizenship field to Contact Details on 1st Page of Contact

    Add "Citizenship" information to the "Contact Details". Contact Details is more visible for this highly important information vs. being buried in "Know Your Client". This has caused our staff to periodically overlook this information and forced account opening corrections after the fact with further embarrassing interaction w/the client.Thank you!!!

  13. Current step due date is not correct! Please use DUE DATE under current step

    The fact that I am having such a hard time describing how difficult workflows are should explain the problem right there....however, the current step due date on the workflow list is inaccurate- it should be the CURRENT STEP

  14. Ability to make certain contacts important information popup a window when you open contact

    In Ebix SmartOffice when we had something in the important information field it would popup automatically for us to read when we entered the contact record. That may be overkill for much of what we save there but there are certain ones that would be nice to able to have it pop up

  17. On fields in account edit screen, give us way to consolidate options

    The account fields are ones you can type whatever you want into or select the item if it has been entered before. I am generally fine it works that way but now ehn I look for LPL accounts I have to look up accounts by company 'LPL' and 'LPL Financial'. It would be good to have a way to say 'switch all fields that read 'LPL' to 'LPL Financial' so we can clean up our database quickly and quickly get rid of multiple selections that mean the same thing. It would be much quicker than pulling up all relevant accounts…

  18. Restrict permanent deletions of records from the recycling bin to only Admin users.

    The recycle bin is vulnerable to having records permanently deleted by all users. This causes a risk to the firm if, in the future, the record is needed for the defense of a complaint or other issues.

  19. Allow clients to schedule their own appointments in crm

    Create a simple link or other type of access for a client to be able to schedule their own appointments on the CRM calendar (and the ability for the user to restrict certain aspects, like date/time range, that is available to the client)

  20. Redtail Imaging

    In Redtail Imaging .. allow users to add a common folder to all records. For example, add a folder "Duty of Care" to all records in redtail imaging to easily store the form
