Linking of Contacts, Accounts to Opportunities and Opportunity Notes
Opportunities can link contacts on the "big picture" side. We would like to see the ability to link an account to opportunities as well, either pending or existing accounts.
Additionally, we would really like to see all notes made in the opportunity automatically link to any linked contact or account. We currently have to do a double entry on the contact level, which makes it easy for someone to miss and potentially leave the note stuck in the opportunity. For the accounts, we have to make sure the contact linked, then go to the contact record, then link the account…

Interactive Brokers
Good morning,
I currently custody with Interactive Brokers. They are one of the largest custodians with more assets under management than any other custodian.
I would love it if RedTail would integrate with Interactive Brokers LLC and Betterment for Advisors

birthday card integration
I used to work in another field with a different CRM. However, that CRM integrated with a company called Revenue Well. Revenue well was able to AUTOMATICALLY send email and text reminders for every appointment on the calendar and it also sent Birthday and anniversary cards with a Giph via email and text automatically on the date.
This way appointments were never missed and could be confirmed via text. Birthdays and anniversaries were never missed either so clients felt cared for. Most of all, this was automatic and did not take time from our staff members daily. Do you have…5 votes -
in opportunity, show contact info when hovering over their linked name
When on an individual opportunity allow the client's contact info to pop up when you hover over the name. Just like in an activity.

Have Opportunity Revenue Categorized for Calendar Year
Currently closed revenue is cumulative and doesn't show current year. We would like to be categorize for current year revenue.

Opportunities Tab for Client and Opportunities for All Clients need to swap locations
Move Opportunities that is under MORE to the current location for Opportunities (All)
When on a contact record you want to see all about that Contact not have to Click "More" then scroll down to Opportunities that is buried in the menu

Sort Opportunities by Creation Date
Currently there is no way to sort opportunities based on the creation date only the target date. If added this feature would allow the user to determine when an opportunity was added and gauge how many other opportunities were added in a given time period rather than just seeing when they are estimated to be completed.

Have the ability for a box to pop up with a reminder to enter data
For example, if the prospect was not a good fit, and the advisor referred them to another firm, when the cursor moves to finish entering the details in the opportunity section, have a box pop up that says, "did you refer this prospect to another firm? if so, enter their name here. " then you can have the udf field where the advisor can enter the name. You can have a reminder pop up anywhere including contacts. Like how an upsell works. Thank you.

Numerous people have recommended/suggested/asked that RedTail have an interface with Mitel Connect so that we can dial directly out of Redtail with a click of the phone number - is this on Redtail's radar?

Add a Count of Open Opportunities to the Contact Overview Stats Bar
it would be great if we could see on the contact front page how many open opportunities there were, similar to how the workflow, activities, etc statistics are displayed at the top of the overview page.

Opportunity Screen tune-up
It should also display the Contact(s) phone numbers so you can call right from that screen.
Same for display on the Opportunity reports to include their phone number because sometimes you may call right off that list.
On the screen AND reporting, the user should be able to determine what fields should be seen to make it clearer and easier to navigate and have the information right away.

Notify of Opportunity Stage Change
When an opportunity stage is changed, a team/user can be notified of such through an automation template.

We are finding an urgent need to be able to add URLs and UDFs to the Opportunities link.
In order for us to effectively assess the opportunity and update/add information to the same, we believe the ability to add URLs and UDFs would be a great feature.

Commission Split Tracking
Inside of the opportunities sections, I would like to see a way to breakdown any revenue splits for life insurance and annuity sales. That way if the business is referred to us and we are leaving the referring agent on the case, we can track who earned what inside of the CRM software.

Add ARCHIVE feature to OPPORTUNITIES database list
Addition of ARCHIVE feature to OPPORTUNITIES database for those opportunities that do not materialize into a transaction, but whose information you do not want to lose as would happen if current delete option is used.

update opportunities from the list page
It would be nice to be able to quickly update opportunities from the list page instead of needing to click into the opportunity to update the things on the list that you see.

1. Could there be modifications made to the Opportunity details
• Could stage and the probability field sync or communicate? – meaning by selecting an option from Stage it would then change the % amount in Probability.
• Could the field currently labeled as Amount be changed to Plan Assets?3 votes -
Opportunity Permissions for Non-Admins
For non-admins, remove the ability to assign a permission at the creation of an opportunity. We've had users permission themselves at creation and because they're not an admin, they don't have the ability to adjust or see any permission on that particular opportunity. At the creation of opportunity a permission ability for non-admins creates a situation, if they only select themselves, where it can't be adjusted or seen by other users.

"Closing Next" Opportunity Not Showing 'Past Due'
For some reason at the top of the opportunity page an opportunity that isn't set to close until the end of November has been stuck as our "Closing Next" opportunity for the past few weeks. I'm not sure why that is, since this feature was working before and we have a lot of opportunities with close dates before November 2016.
