Customizing default view of client documents
It would be extremely helpful to be able to change my default settings so that when I'm viewing a client's profile and I click on Documents, it automatically sorts them by recency--that is to say, for it to list the most recent upload on top--without having to click on "date added" every time.

Being able to turn off notifications for "guest" users
Our team wanted to rollout suite sync in hopes of being able to schedule meetings easier, have visibility of our calendars outside of redtail, etc. We were very excited about the 1:1 sync with outlook as we were hoping to use MS Bookings. Though, when we started syncing our teams calendars and were notified that the guest users that were created from existing outlook events were receiving redtail notifications. After further googling, there is absolutely no way to turn these notifications off. ABSOLUTELY INSANE! This basically makes the 1:1 sync of outlook to redtail unusable! The worst part is that…

Have the full name including middle initial and suffix show on activity email notifications so recipients know which contact to go to
Please show full names on an activity email notification so recipients know which contact record to go to. We have several father/sons who have a different middle initial or a Jr/Sr listed. This would be helpful for recipients of the notification to know which contact to go to for the activity.

Feature Suggestion: Column View for Opportunities
I’d love to see a column-based view added to the Opportunities screen in Redtail CRM! This feature could function like a Kanban board, making it easier to manage and update opportunities visually.
Here’s how it could work:

After marking Activity as complete, cursor should remain in the same place, not revert to top of list
After marking an Activity as complete, the cursor reverts to the very top of the list of Activities. If you are working your way through a long list of Activities, you then must scroll all the way down to where you were working before to resume your work. It would be helpful if the cursor remained where you were working in the list before you marked the Activity as complete.

printable help articles
Would be nice to have the ability to print the help articles for those that are still tactile and prefer to hand out "how-to" articles to the rest of the staff. This is particularly helpful for new Redtail users.

Categories
It would be nice to see the category on the Activity. For example, I have created a "Client Meeting Type" and select an "Annual Review Category" that I created. The Category would appear somewhere on the Activity in the calendar view, so I can easily see what meetings my advisors are having.

Assets and Liabilities
Update Asset and Liabilities page to reflect the assets minus the liabilities for a total at the bottom of the page vs having to print the report to show the math

Contact Personal Profile
We would like to add CPA/Trusted Contact/Attorney/POA to the personal profile report. The current work around is know your client, but it adds a new contact to the report. We are looking to add the Trusted Contact with a best phone number for our clients to verify without creating a new contact in the system. Several duplicates of contacts.

Role Based Access
Looking to add role based access for permissions for users within redtail. to not be able to have full access to social security and account informaiton within clients portal.

Advanced opportunities reporting: ability to filter/total AUM in pipeline by advisor and quarter
Currently, opportunities are grouped together and reporting can be sorted by status. It would be helpful if there was a running total of projected AUM by Servicing Advisor AND projected quarter.

Filter by Location
In addition to listing the location of the activity on the calendar block (so you can see it without opening the activity fully, as has been suggested by others) it would be helpful to be able to filter activities in calendar view by location. Previously we used 'ghost users' for each conference room and added them as Attendees to facilitate scheduling and easily seeing when each conference room was booked vs available, however, now that our subscription model changed to being charged per user we have had to deactivate our conference room users and need an alternative way to be…

Contacts default view
When I click on "Contacts," the intent is to easily see all of my contacts. It would be nice to see the current list of all contacts from A-Z be the default view, instead of favorites. It seems trivial to click on "Contacts," then "Contacts A-Z," then "All," just to see my contacts. Again, if I'm clicking on "Contacts," my intent is to see my contacts, not a favorites page. 😊 Daily or weekly to do list that does not end up on the calendar
Our calendar is full of all 6 employees' appointments, calls, time off. The calendar ends up looking very messy and fills up with unnecessary info.
We would like an area under (Today) like the (Things to do today) that you can type up everyday tasks that need completing so you don't have to jot down a note.
It would be nice to just have the day you added the note, the information and the priority level.

Populate Account Balances based on ticker + # of shares
For non-linked accounts, it would be great to be able to enter the ticker and # of shares and then have the account balance automatically populate based on most recent trading info.

Make "Tag" an option to add to a Custom Export Template
I would like a report of all of our clients with a list of what tags are associated with them. We need to audit and clean these tags up annually so this export would make that process much easier
