tag group permissions
I think the entire system would be better served it the admin had the ability to set permissions to even Tag Groups, or Searching or even rule or list deletion. I think it would better secure the sytem.
***I also think the Personal Profile would be 10X better if it include all the different interest and keywords and tag groups for that specific contact group. It just seem strange that it only includes just a small ammount of information.4 votes -
Manage Database Lists - Style Guide included
When managing our Database Lists it would be helpful if there was an option to clarify what the item means to us when an item is added to the list, essentially giving the ability to enter the style guide right into the CRM instead of having to re-create the wheel by having to create a style guide outside of the CRM.
It would also give other users the ability to know exactly what the item means (on screen, maybe with a pop up when hovering over the item that gives the items style guide information) without having to refer to…4 votes -
Dictation directly into Redtail
Dictation directly into Redtail would definitely be an uptick. There are a couple of closed suggestions showing that this has been completed, but my understanding after corresponding with Redtail support is that this is NOT a current feature. Please look into this. It is a feature available with Microsoft office and it would be extremely beneficial o dictate notes and tasks without having to use a third-party source. It takes at least 24 hours before Redtail notes are transcribed.

orion integration field mapping for two way integration
Under the current Orion Household <-> Redtail two-way sync integration, the first name field of the Orion Household links to the first name field of the primary Redtail contact. This is not ideal. The "equivalent" of the Orion Household name is the Redtail Family Name.
For example, assume John Doe is married to Jane Doe. Both are contacts in Redtail and and are joined together under the same family name in Redtail. Each John & Jane have separate IRA accounts in a Household group in Orion.

disappearing window
Clicking Off-Window in Basic Information or ANY other pop up windows like "Add User Defined Field" Should NOT Cause the Page to Close (Deleting ANYTHING That Had Been Typed).

next previous tab
Hello,
When looking at a list of contacts, the next/previous/page number tabs are at the bottom. It would be VERY handy if the tabs could be at the top as well.Same thing for To Do's and Activities (past due, today, etc.) If the tabs could be both at the top and the bottom it would save a lot of time.

slow
Loading Redtail, adding data, etc. is still too slow. Other applications, like Microsoft 365 are much quicker. My office has super fast systems and internet connections but Redtail, which is one of our main applications is slow.

Integrately Integration
Zapier integrations are severely lacking. Whether that's due to Zapier/Redtail, only they know. Integrately works similar to Zapier and is a new kid on the block. They will likely push through better integrations with Redtail than what's currently available through Zapier. Please consider reaching out to them so that we can have a more robust integration platform.

Change your Password
Trying to change my password but it's not obvious as to where I should go. This option should be more obvious on the CRM.

A-Z list
Contacts - please add A-Z listing (A B C D...) at the top of each page while in contacts and navigating contacts. If you are in a client record "Jane Doe" and now you need to go over to client "John Hancock" it would be nice to go to the top of the page and just click H, rather than click on contacts, and now click on Contacts A-Z, then click on H. Since adding the new Favorites feature it is now 3 clicks to get to a contact record.

Delete team should say disable team
There should be consistency with the verbiage being used in the CRM. When you delete a team it is truly being disabled, so it should say disable team, that would be more intuitive and consistent.

Links Behavior
We have added links into important information to help jump to a website that would typically be needed. When we right click and choose "open in a new tab", the new tab opens but control is not transferred to to tab. It requires finding the new tab at the top of the screen and clicking on it to view the website in the link. It would be helpful for control to be transferred to the new tab.

Birthday Reminders
I think it would be a good idea to be able to trigger a reminder for a certain birthday. Like 72 for RMD's or 18 for clients who have certain accounts that need to be addressed when their child turns 18.

IMAGING
When I create a new folder in imaging, please allow ability to merge to CRM contact at that time. Instead of having to create and then scroll down or search for and then have to merge to CRM contact.

General request for integrrations.
I recently completed the Redtail survey and neglected to add this suggestion at the end of the survey. One "thing" that would enhance the value of Redtail CRM to my practice would be to improve the integration with the other core applications that we use, namely Microsoft 365, Morningstar Office and NaviPlan. To the extent that you can automate the use of and sharing of information among those three applications you make Redtail more important.

Instead of adding random new integrations- spend time improving the existing ones
There are countless user requests regarding enhancing existing integration features with very little movement over the past few years. However, Redtail seems to spend ample time adding more integrations. Please dedicate time to making existing onces more valuable as we have been begging you to do for years.

grammarly
Utilizing Grammarly.com within the system to help write emails to clients via RT. This program helps not just with spelling and grammar but with tone, clarity, engagement, delivery, ect. We have found it super useful but think integrating it automatically would be even better!
