Address Updates
When updating a physical address, it should reflect on both of the spouses contact records. It only updates both spouses if it is a "Home Address" update. It should update both spouses if it involves the home address, mailing address, and the home phone #.

Personal Profile Form
We would like to be able to customize the Personal Profile form. It does not show fields we want on it like grandchildren, attorney or CPA. I can see that users have requested this for over 6 years. We don't want it in an excel format but in the pdf single page look.

Customize Dashboard

The ability to attach a picture of the Driver's License to the ID area

Show "Partner to" under Contact Name when Marital Status is set to "Life Partner"
Currently, after a household/family is created, the contact record shows "Married to {spouse name}" under the contact's name whether the Marital Status is set to "Married" or "Life Partner". It would be great to see this say "Partner to {partner name}" when the Marital Status is set to "Life Partner".

Financial Planning Tab in Clients
I would love to see the addition of a Financial Planning tab under the contact record. It would be a summary page of where a client is. It may have things like whether they have a will or not, when that will was done, when we last asked about the will to make sure it is reflects current wishes. It would have places for outside accounts or insurance policies (for a placeholder for accounts we don't have downloading in and won't mess up our AUM numbers). When a client is married you should have the option to see the household portfolio balance not just the individual portfolio balance on the main screen.

Notes to head of household automatically copy to spouse's contact
It would be nice to have notes automatically post to the head of household's spouse with having to "copy to another contact".

RMD Ages in Contact Information
Someone just emailed me asking about putting the client age in years and months (78.8 years) so they can see the client's exact age for, example, taking a withdrawal without penalty. They suggested it would be in the Contact Details under the DOB. Thanks!

Add More Marital Status Options
Right now there are only 7 Marital Status options: Divorced, Life Partner, Married, Separated, Single, Unknown and Widowed. I would like Redtail to add "Divorced and Remarried" and "Widowed and Remarried" as two new options. If there is a change in divorce law, we'd like to filter our clients and send correspondence to any client who is divorced or has previously been divorced, but Redtail only allows the marital status of a divorced and remarried person to simply be "Married". Additionally, a widowed and remarried person often has different estate planning goals we should be sensitive to (i.e. leaving inheritance…

Multiple options for UDFs
We need an option when creating a UDF for a drop down where we can select multiple items for the field. IE: Field name plus list or checkbox of items

Auto-Assign CSA Role Based on Advisor
It would be nice to, upon creation of a new client record, assign the CSA Role automatically based on the Writing and Servicing Advisor combinations. i.e. If the new contact's Writing Advisor is John and Servicing Advisor Joe, the CSA role would automatically assign to Jane.

multiple contact status and categories
It would be great if we could select multiple status and categories for contact records. For instance, we have business relationship - Active for a Contact Status. I would like to be able to select more than one Category, for instance COI and Vendor.

Turn off auto creation of employer records
Give the database owner the ability to turn off the auto creation of employer contract records. I find it annoying to have records created for employers as I don't ever use them and they don't get categorized properly.

Adding Additional Roles
It would be WONDERFUL if we could create additional roles to be able to fully customize to our office needs since we have more than just the advisor, aa, and csa.

Enable user defined fields to have a customizable order
I think it is key to enable user defined fields to have a customizable order, not just alphabetical. This would allow users to format and better fit UDF's to their specific needs. I know that we are evaluating other options for our CRM needs because of the lack in customization with UDF's, if there were more options on this front, it would allow us to stay with Redtail.

Trusted Contact
Under the contact record, can we please add fields for "Trusted Contacts"? We need to record the name, address, phone, and email of Trusted Contacts in a way that is easy to find. We are currently adding it to the "Important Information", but having a specific field in the contact info would be more helpful. It would also be nice if there was a checkbox somewhere that you could click if Trusted Contact is "declined", as this is something required going forward.
