adding multiple contacts to an activity
This is a duplicate of other requests but until you decide to pool similar requests......
When creating a new activity can we please have the ability to add multiple contacts without having to save the activity and then edit it to add the additional names? It's a waste of effort!

Linking Activities, Workflows, Notes, Documents, & Opportunities
Add ability to link Activities to Workflows (by Contact Linked like Accounts). Should be able to link multiple activities and/or workflows.

Open Activities from Today screen - order of Past Due
When you choose "Past due" activities, it starts with the oldest, and separates them onto multiple pages. When you try to order newest to oldest, it only orders THAT PAGE, which is useless. I need to see my Past Due from the most recent to the oldest. There is no way to do that efficiently. You have to find your last page, order that page, work through that, then go to the next page and work through that. It's very clunky. Please allow ALL Past Due activities to be ordered from newest to oldest, not just the current page.

Full date display for activities
Please Please Please start using the full date and year, not just the day or month and day. It is so easy to get this confused when trying to sort out activities. Reviewing a list of future activities and past activities is my best way of getting an overview of what's happening, and I have to pause to figure out what date and/or year I'm looking at.

**Please don't classify activities as past due until after the end date**
If I create an activity that needs to be finished by the end of the month, it shows up as past due every day and I have to manually roll it over each day.
Use the end date entered when creating the activity to determine when an activity is "past due"
Or add the ability to set things up this way when creating an activity.

Organize task list
I would like to be able to move items in my task list around so they are listed in order of priority for my day. I know I can move things around in workflows, however it would be helpful to order my task list so I don't have to continually scan the list for the high priority items. Instead, I could start at the top of my list and just work my way down.

Create and Edit Email Notification
When creating a new task if I hit the blue button, (create and edit) I dont want the assignee to be notified until I complete the edit. What happens now is I hit create and edit and the assignee gets an notification email then when I save they get a second email. Turning off the initial notification doesnt make sense because sometimes I just create the activity and I dont need to edit. Hope that makes sense. schedule activity for last business day or first business day not just day of the week
I want to schedule a task for the last business day or the first business day of the month or year etc. Only being able to set the task for the first/last monday, tuesday, etc. could create the task a whole week early or late

Assiging multiple users to a task/activity
Prior to your latest release, we used to be able to assign 2 users to a task/activity right when entering the task. Now we have to enter the activity, then go back into it to assign a second person to it. This leaves room for error and makes what used to be a one step process, a 2 step process.

calendar activities not showing the entire title
Attention Redtail Team: The activities on the Calendar REALLY need to list the entire description of the activity without hovering over it. The text NEEDS to wrap!! Are you guys working on this? This has probably been the number one complaint since the update. We've already missed a few things for appointments because WE NEED TO SEE THE ENTIRE TITLE!! Please get on this ASAP!

Why do I have to filter my dates in activities every time I sign into Redtail
It should automatically stay that way. Another inconvenient time consuming thing in Redtail!!

updating completed activities
Why is there a save button when viewing completed activities - If you amend a completed activity and click save you get an error message telling you to uncomplete the activity first - If you can't save an update, there shouldn't be a button or you shouldn't be able to enter any information without uncompleting first.

Activities / Workflows repeating on month, quarter, period end
Need to have workflows and activities that can repeat frequency on month end, quarter end or a designated period end - i.e. this activity is to tie to the last day of each month - since the last day is either the 30th or 31st - not all months have the same ending date, so the way RedTail is set up today this is not able to be created - the fix is to have the activity repeat the 1st of each month, but that is confusing to our people

Phoning List
It would be really nice to have a feature just for calling clients. It would be a list of prospects or clients you are trying to make appointments with. It would allow you to click reached or not reached. It would also allow you to click "appointment made", bringing you to your calendar to schedule a good time to meet. It would also have a notes section so you can keep track if you left a message or not OR to leave information talked about during the phone call. Email Notifications at Time of Activity
We receive and email notification at the time the activity is created but we should be able to receive another email when the activity is to be started!
This would be especially useful when an activity is created months ahead of time. Not everyone checks the overview regularly and it can also look very overwhelming when there are a number of activities. Receiving an email on the day it is to be started would reduce or eliminate the chances of an activity being overlooked.

Please add a pop-up alert before saving an activity if there is no linked contact
There have been multiple times that we have created an activity from the calendar view and forgot to add a linked contact. Please add a pop-up notification to confirm saving if a linked contact has not been added.

Ability to move all pending and completed activities from one contact to another. I
Ability to move all pending and completed activities from one contact to another. I am changing a head of household and want all activities to be moved to this contact all at one time, not one at a time. With the completed activities, I have to uncomplete them and then change the contact and then complete again.

Dates on Open Activities list on client dashboard
On the client dashboard could you please list the date for that weeks activities. Once it gets to the current week it only states that day of the week. But when I am trying to confirm appointments and am in the clients account I have to open the activity to verify the date. I would be nice if the actual date is listed for all activities, even the activities that take place on the current week.
