  1. Identity field

    Add a field in the update individual demographic box for a place to enter information to help with client identification for people that have similar names, ex. Stuart A. Snell (father) and Stuart A. Snell (son). We had Skip's son in the nickname field and FMG Suite sent a birthday greeting titled Skip's son. It would help our new rep know which is which since he isn't as familiar with clients yet. It comes up when you pull the client up instead of having to search their demographics for it.

  2. PRINT ENVELOPE FROM INSIDE CONTACT- Choose Label

    You can print envelope from mail search screen but while you were in the contact - if you could click on the drop down to the right of the address and click LABELS and then you would print the label as you do on the Name search results screen it would be faster- Even if it could be an option in the COMMON TASKS - Paula Garman

  3. Document section you can have to grab easily.

    Have documents stored in Redtail so you can attach to workflows or easily get them from one spot to attach to emails, workflows or notes.

  4. Puppies all the time?

    Is there any way you could put a puppy on the home page? You have such cuties.....and it would be nice to be able to click and see them throughout the day when life gets stressful! Some days I don't want to log in because I want to stare at the puppy all day. Just a thought! Thank you!

  5. The support team should be able to forward a suggestion

    I have the idea all mapped out in a word document with pictures. I can't sent it to you this way. So, I sent it to support. They said they can't send it one.
    1) Support should be able to send on an idea. That's to compartmentalized if they have to take the time to respond to me to tell me they can't send it on.

    2) I should be able to send an attachment to you
    3) From a customer service point of view, it's pretty bad that support can't hit forward on an e-mail and get it to…

  6. multiple locations

    We have multiple office locations. When a client calls in to schedule an appointment, is there a way to create the activity automatically showing the location where they normally go for appointments? We are trying to be in the habit of asking which office they go to, but it is somewhat unprofessional, and it would be great if when we are creating the activity, if redtail would automatically enter the location for us. Like an automation for whenever we create an activity for Mr Smith, the activity would populate the location based on a rule that we would have to…

  7. Ability to view help menu history

    There should be a way to "favorite" help menu articles or videos to easily find and refer back to at a later date. There should also be a "history" feature to find videos previously watched. After recently onboarding and watching numerous videos, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to find a previously watched video for the help I'm looking for without wasting a lot of time. I suppose I could bookmark a video but it would be easier to have something internal within the CRM to refer back to.

  8. allow us to run reports based on how old an account is

  9. Integrate with third party calendars including Woven and Fantastical 2

    Woven is a relatively new third party calendar that offers many features that other calendars don't have. Woven will also combine both Microsoft 365 and Google calendars, but has trouble once RT is added. Fantastical 2 is a very user-friendly calendar that is google-based.

    It would seem logical for RT to integrate with third party calendars since these companies often specialize and therefore offer more features and convenience than RT can provide.

  10. search calendar

    It would be incredibly helpful to be able to search the calendar for open appointment times. It's very tedious to search for open times when on the phone with a client. If I could, for example, search for all open 90 minute appointment times it would be so much quicker to schedule clients. Often times I have to tell a client I will call them back because it takes so long to look through each week to find something.

  11. Calendar permissions

    Outlook calendar syncing with Redtail allows users to see all other users calendar appointments. The only workaround I am aware of is to update the permissions on RT every single time you add something to Outlook (which is an extra step that will almost never be followed). Users should see their own calendar and nothing else. Especially in the case where there are multiple advisors with their own books of business. It would be a highly beneficial update if Admins were able to see all calendars, and advisor users could be restricted to see just their own entries. Thanks.

  12. Link note to existing task/activity

    Often times myself and my team rely on information both in the activity and the notes related to a client. It is very inconvenient that information from an existing not cannot be added into an existing activity. Is this something that you may include in the future?

  13. Have option to send calendar events invites to scheduled events with existing contacts

    when scheduling an event with a client, or prospect that is in redtail, the meeting invite will be sent from redtail, including the notes on the event, location, and the things that google calendar would send. I have to go back to google calendar and recreate there, along with coping and pasting the client email. A time waster for sure.

  14. Link note to multiple activities

    Add the ability to link one note to multiple activities. For example, if you discuss multiple items with one client that are related to several activities, it would be nice to attach that note to all of the activities involved rather than have to copy/paste the same note into each activity thus cluttering up the timeline.

  16. Quarterly Reoccurrence Dates

    We should be able to add recurring events to show up on the end-of-quarter dates so that they appear on the last day of each quarter. This means factoring in business days so if 3/31 falls on a Saturday we should be able to enter recurring event as last business day of the quarter so it would appear on Friday 3/30.

  17. Email Archiving - Show recent emails on Contact's Dashboard

    One reason we wanted to use the Email Archiving service was because we thought it would show the email communications on the Contact's Dashboard - it does not. It would be great to have the option to configure the Contact Dashboard to include not just notes, but also email correspondence. Having to click into "Email History" to view any client communication is not convenient and wastes precious time. Having it readily viewable on the Contact Dashboard would be much more beneficial. Thank you!

  18. Linking notes

    when you go add a note the linked contact option should already have the contact that they share a family name with; or have it as a default setting you can choose

  19. calendar layout

    Being able to have different options on how you want the layout of your 'DAY' calendar. I'm dyslexic and it is just hard to feel organized because the lay out feels so jumbled together. It would be better if you could view your day in columns of advisors by their color- than rows of task by their color. This would be so helpful!!!!

  20. birthday reminder

    Can you please add back the feature under the birthday reminder report to pull a certain month of birthdays of a certain type of client? Right now all you can pull is options like "7 days in the past" or "30 days in the future". We want to be able to go in and pull all current clients in a certain month so we can prepare the birthday cards ahead of time.
