Roles & Permissions Changes & Customizations
I've voted for many similar posts but want to reiterate how important it is for our team (not just admins) to be able to see who is assigned as a contact's Advisor, Associate Advisor and CSA. Workflow tasks are assigned to these people but our staff can't make sure their set up correctly.
I don't understand the point of having a Servicing Advisor and Writing Advisor AND THEN also the above roles? Why not just have those three listed on the contact's main screen. It's redundant and confusing. Simplification would be greatly appreciated.

check a box to update the spouse's Know Your Client
an option to check a box when updating a clients last review date to also update the spouse would be very time saving

show power of attorney on contact details
If client has a Power of Attorney, there should be a field readily visible on the main client record screen. A customizable field could work for this too. There should also be a way to link that POA's Redtail contact (not thru family set-up) to the client's contact record.

Alert/warning pop up when clicking on client profile, if "caution" is needed
Clients who have big life events/fraud should be handled with care. Some team members may not have the time to "Dig" for a note they don't know is there and may cause more problems.
There should be a feature where a pop up box needs to be read/addressed when entering a client profile so the employee can "use caution" when needed.19 votes -
Drag and drop
It would be very useful to be able to drag and drop Workflow tasks to another date rather than having to open them to re-assign the date.

Open Workflow steps should be listed as an open Activity- One Place for all Open Items
I want to manage any open item assigned to me in one place versus going to different sections of the CRM. If I have a workflow step open and needing to be completed, it should be an Activity and be represented in my Past Due, Today or Future Activities along with every other Activity.. It is inefficient to have to open various workflow to find steps I need to complete or looking in different sections of the CRM.

Ability to set a template or default when creating opportunities
Ability to set a template or default when creating opportunities. Let users set a default for all of the areas in preferences. For example: Type being defaulted to New Business.

Add AST (atlantic standard time) time zone to Redtail for users in Puerto Rico
There currently isn't an AST time zone option in the Preferences. We have some advisors that are located in Puerto Rico.

Add Alerts Feature to Dashboard
There should be a place where you can go to see recent updates on your activities so you can take action. We get emails, but there are so many in number that they can get lost. What if it's added to the notification bell or something that way it is less likely to be missed.

Create a search by criteria on Activities so we can search by name, or a specific word.

Please Don't Make Next Task Dependent on Current Task Being Completed
If multiple users are assigned to a Workflow and one user forgets or simply does not complete their current task, the rest of the tasks then don't get completed, leaving either a major bottleneck of work to later do or even worse, overlooked. Please allow the steps in a Workflow to not be dependent upon sequential completion. In talking to several other advisors and support staff at Orion Ascent, Workflows are not being used at all for this specific reason. Our prior CRM did not have this restriction and this is making the adoption of RedTail a much more difficult…

Activities dashboard - Assigned To dropdown
Please allow selection of more than one option in the Assigned To dropdown. Currently, in the Assigned To dropdown on the Activities dashboard, I can only select one option. So, I can see Everyone, or me, or someone else, but I can't elect to see me AND someone else. Thank you.

Moveable Chat bubble
It would be nice if the chat bubble that is in the bottom right corner of the CRM would be moveable to other areas on the screen or for it to completely disappear and be button on the top. When we go to the accounts screen, the chat bubble covers up the total account value when you scroll all the way to the bottom and you can't see the number.

Calendar landing page timeline view
When I change the calendar view timeline, to a different week or month, then leave the calendar to view a client or something different in RedTail, I would like to come back to the current date view when I return to the calendar. Not where I had left the calendar timeline view when I previously on the calendar. i.e.; If I am in the current month view of July, change the calendar to September, then leave the calendar and when I return, I would like to return to original month view of July, not September.

Add a timestamp or timeline to Financial's
Under the "Financials" Tab at the bottom of the profile, it would be nice if we could see when they were last updated (and possibly add a 'confirmed' timestamp if the financials haven't changed) to know that they are current. As an office where assistants reference this information from the Reps and the Reps are often remote, this would make it so much more convenient if we could see that they recently updated the financials after speaking with the client.

Automated Scheduling in Redtail
Create & integrate an automated scheduling system within Redtail just like ScheduleOnce etc. which allows clients to schedule appointments themselves via a link we send to them. As well as automated confirmation and reminder emails and/or texts. Instead of connecting Redtail to an outside automated scheduling system, have those capabilities within Redtail. That would be so helpful to have everything in one place!

let's talk bubble for support chat
It would be nice to be able to move the "Let's talk" bubble in the bottom right corner. Sometimes it hides information that I need to see.

I would like to track the results of my activities and run reports
We have different appointment categories, First appointments, Service appointments, Presentation appts etc.
But I do not have a place to track the results if the appointment kept, rescheduled, closed, no showed.
This will tell me at the end of a quarter, I scheduled 60 appointments over 30 households, 50 of them kept their appointment, and resulted in 10 HHs closed for some business. If I want to Close 12 pieces of business 20%, then I need to increase my households by 20% and that means I might need 70 appointments over that time frame.

PUT PAGE NUMBERS OF ACTIVITIES AT TOP AS WELL AS BOTTOM
Put the page tabs at the top of the activities list as well as at the bottom. Often I know the activity is on page 2 and have to scroll to the bottom to click on that page.
