Bulk Actions by Seminar and Attendee Status - It would be an extremely valuable feature to be able to do an advanced search that can filter contacts by their attendee status for seminars. For example, we use the bulk actions to send a broadcast message to invite clients to the event. A week later we send out a reminder to RSVP but I would not like to send an RSVP reminder to those who have already RSVP'd. It would so be able to send out a broad cast email to those who have RSVP'd.

Add a "Next Step" with assigned person feature to Activities
Below the activity name, have a "Next Step" like in Opportunities. Also give the ability to assign that step to a specific attendee on the Activity.
We don't need the completed next steps listed, we just want to be able to update the person who has the next option on the activity.

Improve on the Workflow interface when creating/editing a workflow
The interface is very clunky and confusing when creating or editing a workflow. The field description for the tasks is small, and it is challenging to organize the workflow on a higher level. Would like the tasks/steps to be one line with the ability to expand on each if needed, or expand/close all to see the higher level.

Show Linked Contact in Calendar view versus saying "2 Contacts"
it is productivity that i know have to hover over each activity on my calender to see the clients linked. Please revert back to the original view were all linked contacts show versus it just saying "2 contacts." i need to be able scan my calendar to see what i have out standing for clients each day.

Add Basic Contact Data (phone, email, DOB, SOC#) as a side column so that when we are in Workflows,we can see that data without clicking out
I work in Workflows all day. There are many times throughout the day that I need access to the clients basic info (DOB, SOC#, Email, phone), and I have to leave the workflow to get to that data. My workaround has been to keep two windows open, but it's a pain. It would be nice to have a side column that shows basic data of the client you are in while you are in the workflow.

tag group report
Can we get a report that shows what tag groups a client is connected to? perhaps a custom email template that will list all the tags for a client in one place instead of having to run multiple reports based on a tag group search.

Holidays
Why are all the Holiday's not listed on the calendar? Mother's Day and Father's Day are missing. Christmas and New Year's Day are there but not Eves. Good Friday shows but not Easter. ALL HOLIDAYS NEED TO BE SEEN!

search on primary phone/email/address
I can run a report on clients that show what phone #s, emails, and addresses are designated as primary but I cannot run a search to see just those clients that have (or don't have) a primary phone/email/address designated. We need to have a search option to see that so we don't have to run a report and delete the non-needed information

Expand Automation
While the automation function is a time saver, its functionality is far too limiting as we are not provided sufficient options. For instance (and this is just one example), we use (or have been trying to use) our categories to have a more refined view of client- and account-impacting notes. However, automation emails sent out via FMG (e.g., schedule a meeting, invitation to client events, newsletters, etc.) all get dumped into the same category. We'd like to be able to see, at a glance, notes that are key to client/account management, as well as who's being invited, who's being reminded,…

Separate completed tasks from Notes
It would be nice to have completed tasks and notes in separate categories to keep things organized. Notes should just be meeting dictations and document random client requests. This way meeting notes can easily be reviewed and stored in one place, and you can easily access previous tasks if you need to relook at something you have done.
Also, you would be able to pull reports on InProgress tasks, completed tasks and previous meeting notes for the advisors7 votes -
Automatically turning a Client Review into an Activity
I am currently automating a “Client Review” process for a financial client on a quarterly/annual basis. However, Redtail’s Client Reviews module does not allow for direct integration with the calendar — meaning you cannot turn a review reminder into a complete activity or associated notes.
My problem is:
When a Client Review is marked complete, the system does not automatically schedule the next review date or create an associated activity. So the question is: Does Redtail have a built-in integration, or is there a tutorial for:

Activity template–based automations
Today, Activity Templates are static and cannot trigger follow-up actions without building a full Workflow
Request: add a new automation trigger category called “Activity Template”
Trigger would allow selection from existing Activity Templates
Conditions should adapt to activity context (linked contact, status, category, assigned user, etc.)
Add a new Action Type: “Link Activity Template” from the Activity Template library
Include time-delay logic (immediate, X days/weeks later, business days)
Example use case: if Activity Template “Client Review – Completed” is selected, then automatically assign a follow-up Activity Template to the same linked contact one week later

Edit Notes / Comments
It is critical to be able to edit notes and comments. When we have multiple employees working with the same client, at the same time, it is crucial that everyone notates every conversation, action item, and pending task being performed in real time. However, sometimes those notes/comments need to be adjusted to account for updates. Currently everytime an adjustment needs to be made, we must create a new note or add additional comments....which usually results in a note becoming ridiculously long. Allow for automations to create activities
Some tasks don't require or aren't very well suited for a full workflow. It would be very helpful if we could use automations to trigger the creation of an activity when client statuses or other info is changed. It could work like it does with workflows, where you would create an activity template, then when creating the automation you would set the "Action Type" field as "Link Activity from Template". You would then select the correct template from a dropdown with all the templates listed. Thanks!
