activities that are "to dos" on certain day, not "all day' because blocks out entire day for scheduling
problem - since Redtail suite sync to Outlook and client/prospect scheduler is thru Outlook - if "actiivity" is "all day" it blocks out the entire day for scheduling. ie if need to do a follow up phone call on Feb 8, 2025 but not at a specific time - it defaults to "all day" but in fact it is not "all day" but an alert to call that day. Personal Profile Form
Personal Profile Form - Add an option to exclude a deceased spouse from the Personal Profile Form when printing it for a meeting. Currently, we have to remove the deceased spouse from the client family, print the Personal Profile Form, then add the deceased spouse back to the family. When the advisor is meeting with the surviving spouse, the Personal Profile form is used to review current contact info, updating Driver’s License Info, starting the review of existing accounts, etc., but they do not need to see the deceased spouse’s info on the form during a meeting.

Request to Combine Married Client Review Reminders
I have a suggestion regarding client reviews. If two contacts are married, it would be helpful if they appeared as a single reminder instead of separate ones. Currently, having separate reminders for both individuals clutters my calendar. Combining them into one reminder would make the calendar more organized and easier to manage."

Alert/warning pop up when clicking on client profile, if "caution" is needed
Clients who have big life events/fraud should be handled with care. Some team members may not have the time to "Dig" for a note they don't know is there and may cause more problems.
There should be a feature where a pop up box needs to be read/addressed when entering a client profile so the employee can "use caution" when needed.25 votes -
Add nicknames to the search contact feature
To the "Search Contacts" search bar, add in clients "nickname" to the search feature. If the client goes by something other than their first name, that name needs to be featured in the search contacts function.

When adding/updating activity being able to notify a user not just a team
When you add a new note you have the option of two drop down menus: notify team and notify user. I would like the same option for adding/updating activities, can you add notify user to activities please.

Being able to turn off notifications for "guest" users
Our team wanted to rollout suite sync in hopes of being able to schedule meetings easier, have visibility of our calendars outside of redtail, etc. We were very excited about the 1:1 sync with outlook as we were hoping to use MS Bookings. Though, when we started syncing our teams calendars and were notified that the guest users that were created from existing outlook events were receiving redtail notifications. After further googling, there is absolutely no way to turn these notifications off. ABSOLUTELY INSANE! This basically makes the 1:1 sync of outlook to redtail unusable! The worst part is that…

Ability to set a template or default when creating opportunities
Ability to set a template or default when creating opportunities. Let users set a default for all of the areas in preferences. For example: Type being defaulted to New Business.

I would like to track the results of my activities and run reports
We have different appointment categories, First appointments, Service appointments, Presentation appts etc.
But I do not have a place to track the results if the appointment kept, rescheduled, closed, no showed.
This will tell me at the end of a quarter, I scheduled 60 appointments over 30 households, 50 of them kept their appointment, and resulted in 10 HHs closed for some business. If I want to Close 12 pieces of business 20%, then I need to increase my households by 20% and that means I might need 70 appointments over that time frame.

Update Asset and Liabilities page to reflect the assets minus the liabilities for a total at the bottom of the page vs having to print the report to show the math

Duplicate Contact Name Report - Process Time
As a Redtail CRM User , I want the Duplicate Contact Name Report to process combine functionality quickly within 5-10 seconds. If a user refreshes the list, the combine function needs to show quickly on the report.
Currently state: Select the two records to combine, select the primary, select ok. Next wait 30 sec to 1 min for the process to work on the backend. If you refresh early then the combine functionality does not work and you have to do the process again. As a user with almost 8000 duplicates, this will take me around 150-200 hours to complete.

Duplicate Contact Report - Freeze Header
As a Redtail CRM User, I want the Report header including the column headers and combine, filter, export, pdf, and search functions to stay at the top of the page regardless of page scrolling. This is to allow the user to scroll through the list and combine contacts as needed without having to scroll to the top of the page to select combine. The result will be a better user experience and time saved from scrolling.

Zapier Integration to add a note and to complete activites
Zapier's integrations are super helpful - although being able to add a note would be amazing as well as complete an activity.

Talk to Text
Add a 'talk to text' button when adding notes to a client account or calendar event. This will cut down on time after a client review/meeting as it allows you to speak the notes instead of typing them.

Make Opportunities more efficient
I have several opportunities, and I really like using the list to keep track of the things we are currently working on. Many of the contacts are a mix of prospective and existing clients on which I have already made several notes. I would like the most recent notes for each contact to be automatically linked in the notes section to avoid redundancy in making a note under the contact and another note on the contact opportunity. I understand that the last note could be copied; however, that isn't efficient when I have multiple opportunities to manage.

It would be very useful to be able to drag and drop Workflow tasks to another date rather than having to open them to re-assign the date.

Redtail Speak
Redtail Speak - I love the concept of Redtail Speak but the inability to utilize it as a phone number to call or receive calls from clients makes me hesitant. I understand the need for compliant texting however giving my advisors multiple phone numbers for only one use will be confusing for them and clients. I'd love for Redtail Speak to someday have a functionality to make/receive phone calls then it will be 100%!
