  2. emailable portal link for client data entry/population.

    Most programs today that are data intensive to complete a file have a portal link that can be emailed to a contact/client that would provide them with an interview that walks them through all needed information. Take it a few steps further allow for the interview to be branded/customized to their practice, and allow for customizations that would allow us to create "standard practice questions to ask?"

  3. Multi-Factor Authentication for Mobile App

    Security Issue: Multi-Factor authentication is currently not an option for the Redtail CRM mobile app. This means that an attacker can attempt to use brute force tactics using only username and password over the public internet to gain access to a clients CRM instance. This is a major security flaw. Why is MFA not an option for the mobile app similar to the browser / web-based application?   4. specific dates for workflows

    I would love to create workflows in lieu of activities to reminder me to send invoices and greeting cards to clients. Please add the functions of specific dates for tasks so this can be done.

  7. Lock down root "Clients" folder in Redtail Imaging

    Someone on our team inadvertently archived our root client folder in Redtail Imaging. Obviously their mistake, but it should not be that easy to archive such an important root folder. Because our file system is so large, the archive view won't even load our archived files. The Redtail support team is helping us restore them, but we don't have our client files until they do. There seems to be no way to lock down the root folder, and still allow all the folders underneath it to be editable by our team. This seems to be an important feature.

  8. Make deceased contact show current age as if they were alive

    I would like deceased contacts to keep counting their age next to their birthday as if they were alive. Or put the age they were when they died next to date of death, and have their "current" age next to their birthday. This is helpful when planning with widows for example.

  9. photos in export

    Want to be able to include profile pictures from client contact cards in exports. Would come in handy for new hires to make flashcards with names and photos to get familiar with our clients in advance of client events. Would also be nice to have pictures next to names for seminar check in lists so that our new hires, working the check in desk, can more easily find clients and get them checked in.

  10. Link account names from custodian

    It would be great if, in addition to the account number, the account name could be synced from the custodian. This way, when you pull up a contact with linked accounts, you would be able to see the account number AND account name as the custodian lists it. This would help to reduce the back and forth for advisors (checking Schwab/Tamarac in addition to Redtail) and add more clarity in linking the account in a Redtail activity/task.

    Thank you for working on a Client Review function.What you put together is a god start, but need flexibility to reflect reality and to remain compliant by not altering past dates. What do I mean? If my frequency is 3 month, and my "last Review" was 9/10/2025 the system sets 12/10/2025 as "next review date". The problem is 12/10 may not be a date the adviser can meet or a date the client can meet. Maybe its 12/17/2025 that works for both. The way your system works today is that I have to alter the "last review date" to 09/17/2025…

  12. Important Info - Sync option

    Provide an option to hide sensitive client information stored in "Important Info" or prevent it from syncing to the phone’s contact notes when connecting via Exchange. This would give users greater control over client privacy, ensuring that critical details remain secure while still preserving the functionality of "Important Info" within the CRM.

    It would be very valuable to be able to select the columns that appear on the "All" contact view screen. I would like to see different fields than servicing or writing advisor. This should be customizable from any contact field. Having their phone number on this view would be much better.

  14. Have a "hot" contact name in a UDF connect with the contact's record.

    When we have contact names in a client UDF, it would link to the contact's record. We are having to get creative with some of our information since the program doesn't have certain fields and we can't edit them.

  15. Next Step Opportunity Dates/Activities

    It would be really nice if when you added Next Steps to an opportunity, you could set a "Due Date" for the next steps. And then as a follow-up to that request, it would be nice if the due date and next steps automatically created an activity. Basically, it would be nice if the Next Steps auto-created an activity that was then linked to the opportunity, without us having to create an activity separately that cannot be linked to the opportunity.

  16. opportunity stages

    It would be nice to have more options for the stage an opportunity is in. I currently only have closed lost or closed won and it would be nice to have like "Evaluating", "proposing", "Closing" or just being able to create our own like an open concept like the opportunity name.

    Opportunities have the potential to be VERY impactful but needs a lot of work to be completely functional. It would be nice for our company to move our pipeline away from spreadsheets and to live in a CRM database

  18. In the Calendar, show Contact Names in task when there are 2 linked Contacts

    Our office is not a fan of the change you just made to the Calendar of removing the Contact Names within a task if more than one Contact is linked to the task. It just shows the words "2 Contacts." We want to be able to see the Client Names in every task that we create, especially for appointments. I called Redtail Support to have this new feature turned off and set back to showing the Contact Names and was told you are unable to do that.   19. Attaching an Email from Outlook to a Client Record (when client is not on the chain)

    Redtail should have a feature/integration with Outlook to attach an email to a client record, when the client email address is not included on the chain. I understand email archiving can capture communication with the client, but there are instances where our team has emails related to the client and we should be able to save those without copy and pasting into a note.
