Work on Multiple Steps Simultaneously
Would be great to be able to complete/begin tasks on next steps while current step is still in progress. Not uncommon to be waiting for an external signature, certified mail receipts, etc. to complete a step, however, the completion is not pertinent to stop the workflow. Would appreciate being able to override the step completion requirement.

add incoming emails from Synced account to notes for everyone to see
Be able to add an email that we receive from Synced account to the notes section, to save the email and also allow everyone on the CRM to see the email.

I select Client, client accounts, Reports, Portfolio Detail Report I need Effective dates added by accounts with options to add more details to the report. It would great if we could customize the detailed information on each Summary Report or Snapshot report.

Client Profile Sheet/ PDF Report
Please make available for us to incorporate or adjust custom field information concerning our clients. This will facilitate the compilation of essential details into a concise, one-page PDF report, i.e. the client's CPA/Tax advisor, Estate Attorney, investment model, required minimum distribution data, IRA beneficiary particulars, etc. Such a report will greatly assist us in preparing for client meetings by providing a comprehensive overview of their significant information.

Create Dynamic Tag Groups
There should be two types of tag groups that can be created: static and dynamic. Currently, all tag groups are static. I would like the ability to create a tag group that will automatically add contacts that meet certain criteria. Essentially, I want a combination of a quick list and a tag group. The marketing software that we use has the ability to import tag groups and sync them nightly, but it is tedious adding each advisors new contacts to tag groups manually.

Add "Next 7 Days" Icon Next to the "Day" "Week" and "Month" Icons on Calendar View
Add "Next 7 Days" Icon Next to icons "Day" "Week" and "Month" on Calendar View. On Thursday, I am not really in need of see what I did on Monday.

Activity By Contact Report - Add Column
When running a Activities by Contact report, it would be helpful to add a column for the date the activity was created. We have a number of activities where the start and end dates are changed, so being able to filter by created date would be extremely helpful.

I want to schedule a series of emails to be sent automatically to specific contacts, using templates. I understand that Automation can create the Workflows, but those are just Task lists, I'm trying to Automate the sending of the emails.
Example: I add a Contact into my "Lead" Tag Group and automatically an email is sent and then follow up emails are sent to that Contact until the workflow is Completed, by changing the Tag Group to "Prospect" after the schedule a meeting, or the series of emails is sent.3 votes -
Automation based on Activity Name
We have an integration with Calendly so meetings created there show up in Redtail. I would like to setup an automation that would change the Activity Category based on specific word(s) in the Activity Title. For example, a Calendly meeting that comes in with the title: "Presentation for Client Name" would have the Activity Category = Presentation. I would set the automation rule to "Activity Title" [contains] "Presentation", then "Activity Category" = "Presentation"

More extensive family tree capabilities
The family tree that you can build out currently is extremely limited and linear - you should be able to build out siblings with their spouses and children. The membership section is out of the way and awkward to use.

Add filter options for permissions report
In the permission report please add the option to select no one under servicing advisor. Also add the option to filter by writing advisor as well. I want to compare a contacts permissions with the writing and servicing advisor they have so over time I can correct bad permissions since automations don't have a trigger of a changed writing or servicing advisor.

SNAPMobile VOIP Integration
We currently have our VOIP hosted through Access Systems and they use SNAPMobile for their VOIP system. It would be nice to be able to have access to the phone feature within Redtail with a product we already use.

Clickable URL link in Activity Description
We are allowed to insert an URL link in the activity description; however, when you try clicking the link - it does nothing.
It would be nice to click the link that opens in a new tab window just like the add URL link in workflow does.

Notification Emails need to be ENCRYPTED
We have been aware of this issue for a long time now, but I think with the climate today it has become IMPERATIVE that Redtail encrypt notification emails generated from created and updated Activities. I believe many Redtail users put sensitive information in the subject and description such as account numbers (regardless of whether Redtail thinks we should) and then that information is being broadcast to the world in an insecure email if notification settings are not all set to "no". Contact Link Option for any filed listed as "Contact"
It's frustrating that there are multiple fields where a contact can be listed yet, despite the fact that the contact being listed is also in Redtail, there is no option to create a hyperlink to that client. For example: Departments (under Business Clients), Primary Contact (under Misc. Client Information), Referred By (under Client Details), etc.

Notifying Colleagues
I believe we are able to tag/notify other colleagues via the activity tab, but our team primarily communicates and documents via the notes tab. For example, my colleague and I were both working on a task together. If would be nice to tag her somehow to let her know about an update I've made or a note I have shared. Other than this, she would have to constantly check for new notes.

Assign Estimated Time to Complete to Workflow Templates!
To better track capacity across our service team, I propose adding a feature to our workflows that allows us to assign an estimated time to complete for each workflow template. This enhancement would enable us to monitor and manage each processor's workload more effectively. It would be great if we could also have a capacity dashboard for each processor!

Add a "TOP" button when scrolling down on pages
Add a "TOP" button when scrolling down on pages such as notes, activities, etc. where we can easily click one button to return to the top of the page vs scrolling back up to be able to move away from that page. OR freeze the side bar menu so we don't have to scroll up and can just click the page we want to go to.

Separate Websites by "TYPE" the way Phone and email are separated.
Phone and email have separate tabs when doing a “custom export”. The client has one line with all the phone numbers in a separate tab (same line) and emails in separate tabs (same line) but “websites” puts all the client information on separate LINES per website.
There only 3 choices for Websites: home, other and work. With people working from home and using their website, plus a side hustle with it’s own websites, it would be nice to export websites in the same manner as phones and emails.
