  1. On the Seminar Sign-in Sheet, include the event name that we have created

    This would just be added to the existing pdf that Redtail has. We sometimes have multiple seminars going on or when one is ending the another is starting and it would be nice to have the title at the top of the sign in sheet or even the other reports that you already have.

  2. Family Report

    When running a Family report you can only do it on one client. Please consider a way to run a family report on all clients at the same time so you do not have to go to each client one by one to run the report. We would like to have one report that lists all family members for each client. When running a membership report some children do not have the same last name as their parents so they are not listed with the parent they are some where else on the report according to their name.   3. Trusted Contact Field on Contact Card

    Can you PLEASE add a field for Trusted Contact information on the Contact Record card? Also, please add a check box that can be marked if the client declines to provide this information. Thank you!

  5. Add the Automation Condition field - Created By

    Please add the Created By field for the automation condition.

    This way I can create a template for permissions that says to assign a certain permission to a Contact/Note/Activity if it was created by a specific user.

    This would completely automate all of the permissions in my database for the 20+ users we have.

    Also please add the action for when notes are created.

  6. Add option for hiding closed accounts.

    Currently, we can filter to hide family accounts, and non-primary joint accounts. We also have the option of hiding all accounts, but it would be very helpful to be able to hide closed accounts-only.

    Integrate with US Postal System so addresses that are entered would be auto-verified and additional 4 digits added to the zip code.

  8. To Do:

    A blank note pad (Not linked to calendar or contact) to be able to add and delete notes, things to do, etc. There are plenty of "To Do Things that I do not want cluttering up the calendar but need to from a "Notepad" once finished. It would be nice to have this in Redtail so that I have it digitally where ever I go not just on y desk.

  9. custom export udf

    Now custom export has the ability to export the UDF's, however if you have the same UDF in the same contact profile (or account profile) it will only export one of those. We, due to lack of a commissions/fee tracking module, use the same UDF's multiple times. Would be helpful to have all instances of the UDF exported in the custom export for reporting.

  10. Workflows should indicate who started them - similarly to Activities

    If I am assigned a workflow and have questions on it, I have to go around and ask who started it. If RedTail indicated who started the workflow like they do for activities, I would be able to go right to the source.

    link held-away accounts to new opportunities that are created. When inputting a held-away account have a link to create a new opportunity to establish a plan to absorb those assets

  15. Trigger on dates/ repeating schedule

    Workflows would be much improved if it were possible to set them to launch on a systematic/scheduled basis. Ideally, workflow tasks would not be assigned to someone until the workflow is triggered per the set schedule.

    For example, client meetings, annual client events, compliance, and other repeatable processes could be put on autopilot rather than having to remember to manfully launch workflows. This functionality has existed in other CRMs for years now, and it's disappointing that it's lacking here...

  16. opportunity referral tracking

    An opportunity should have a field that is Referral and that referral should be able to be a linkable back to a contact. At the very least, the opportunity should have a fillable text box for a referral like a contac currently has. I carry around printed opportunity lists as they are my lifeblood as a sales person. It' would be very helpful to know who referred me to that opportunity.

  17. Workflow automation to create Activities

    The ability for the Workflow steps to automatically create Activities that can be assigned to specific users/teams. Also, the next step in the Workflow would not start until all of the assigned activities in the previous step are completed.

    The way that we see Workflows is that they are the "big picture" step-by-step guide & the individual Activities ("Tasks") are the place for the instructions & notes of that particular step.

    This would also alleviate the head ache of having to check your Activities list & your Workflows each day & in the past.

  18. list two contacts when attached to note/activity, not just '2 contacts'

    I realize you like to say 2 contacts when both spouses are attached to an activity to save space but I'd love it if you only did that when 3 people are attached. I am trying to be good with my notes and attach both parties so they each have a record of it but then on printed reports, I can't tell who the activity or note is for. So list both names at two, summarize at 3.
