Add Activity "Status" Field
Add a status field to Activities.
Example:
"New"
"Working"
"Pending Client Response"
"Submitted to Custodian"Etc.

It would be super helpful if an automation that was triggered by an activity on a specific user could also automatically send out an email from your email templates. I have an automation that triggers workflows when a specific activity is used which is extremely helpful but having an automation be able to send out an email that is also trigger by the same activity would be more beneficial.
Not sure if that would mean creating another automation to the same activity with a different condition or allowing an automation with multiple conditions would work out best.

Add trustees to contact card if they are linked membership
This could already be a thing I am not finding, but it would be super nice if when we link a client contact as a trustee/executor, etc that they are added to the contact card for ease.
For example if I have the Owen Wilson Trust and his brother Luke Wilson is the trustee - it would be great to either have the contact card add a phone number from the client's profile. Or if it simply created a link to the client's profile on the contact card?Additionally, it could just be adding a space on the contact card…

Add "Additional Linked Contacts" field to Activity Templates, Note Templates & Workflow Templates.
Add "Additional Linked Contacts" field to Activity Templates, Note Templates & Workflow Templates. I suspect our office is not alone in using several internal contact pages to organize workflow and notes. It would save time and eliminate human error if we could designate those organizational contacts as additional linked contacts on templates rather than manually adding them.

Color code workflows based on categories
It would be great to be able to color code a workflow based on the category type similar to the way we can with activities based on the type if task.

Please add templates to Opportunities
Please add the template feature here. It would also be nice to be able to search insurance or investment companies we are using for each opportunities. It would make tracking commissions easier.

feed updating
I just learned that when you Integrate your data from another vendor like Albridge the updating and contact creation is only once at the start of the process. It would be extremely helpful if this is a dynamic process so that anytime I open a new account or add clients RedTail will automatically create the contact as well as any changes I update to the client in Albridge they update in RedTail

Let us add a document to bulk activity and noting
When I make a recommendation or an update that affects a whole tag group - I can't add the documents needed - notes and activity yes, but not the document in the activity - this causes a lot of manual work...

imaging should show number of documents, and also a map
Imaging seems clunky to me. I'd love to see a map showing all the subfolders, and also a number next to each subfolder showing the number of documents in it. for example, if i have a tax return subfolder, but the prospect or client doesn't give tax returns, i may want to archive that folder and not even see it; conversely if i have something in there, i'd like to know about it. maybe a map, and grey out empty subfolders?

Lock Activities
It is very easy to accidentally move activities to different times or days when viewing them in the calendar. It would be nice to have the ability to lock the activity so it can not move unless you unlock it first. Could be as simple as adding a little lock button that you could toggle on and off.

Scan and save
I have a scanner attached to my computer. I would like to have a save option directly into redtail instead of saving to my desktop, uploading to redtail then deleting off of my desktop.

merge duplicate UDFs
Would be great if there were a way to merge duplicate UDFs. We submitted a request for bulk to RT and instead of putting the request into the existing UDFs, they put them into new UDFs. Now we are going through one by one and editing them. Ideally, there would be an option to merge UDFs.

duplicate e-mail
It would be great if there was a way the system could filter out duplicate emails. Example: If a client emails me and cc's the advisor, that email is posted twice. Sometimes, clients will copy 3 and 4 staff members on an email and that email is then posted that many times. It does not make e-mail searching very user friendly or efficient.

CRM Outlook linking
I was at a tech conference for RIAs this week and a number of CRMS automatically link outlook to the crm so meetings are stored, calendars are the same, etc. These CRMS (advyzon) link both so we dont have to work out of the crm calendar and can use outlook but everuthing populates seamlessly.

email display name
Teams use to be able to use the SMTP settings for Broadcast e-mail which allowed them to change the display name and send emails that look like they are coming from the advisor (however, the assistant is the one actually sending it).
For Modern Authorization- The display name is removed and those people who HAVE to link to modern authorization do not have that feature to "change the display name".
Please add Change the Display Name for people who use are forced to use Modern Authorization due to their Broker-Dealer.
Reason: It allows assistants to send e-mails for the Advisor…

"Last Review Date"
Add "Last Review Date" to the Know Your Client fields. This is a critical piece of information for RIA recordkeeping and SEC compliance.

link related activity
Should be able to link a related activity to an activity like you would link a note or account. My team is working on two related activities for a client, but they are separate processes and departments. It would be nice to have them linked to eachother for the departments to easily follow what's going on with the other activity. As well as be able to turn notifications on for both activities if they wish (even if they are not necessarily on both activities).
