Voice to Text
It would be great if on my desktop where I and my staff do all of our client notes, we could do speech to text. Currently we have to do speech to text in Word and then copy and paste to redtail.

Reports > Notes By User
Please add a report that shows Notes By User, and with the ability to filter for periods of time. That way we can celebrate the team members that made the most notes in a Month or Quarter or Year.1 vote -
NOTES- ABILITY TO HAVE A NOTES BLOCK IN WORKFLOWS THAT CAN BE DATA MINED WHEN RUNNING NOTES REPORT
Would like notes in workflows to be searchable from a report. Designatge a main note block at top of Workflow that exports and would be searchable. This would enable you to not have to double document when completing workflow steps. Especially useful with transnational type work flows.

Adding a flag or reminder feature in Notes
After adding a note, can we get a feature to flag the note or a reminder to go back to the note in "x" number of days? Currently, the only way I can remind myself of the note is to create a follow-up activity. Let's say I speak with a client who tells me that she/he will send me a document in three days. I make a note of the call in RT and set a reminder (instead of an activity) to flag the note in four days. In four days, I am reminded of the Note and if the…

More Options on the "Latest Notes" tab
Control over which "notes" are immediately visible on 'latest notes'.
A way to 'hide' certain, common notes so that only the special notes you'd like to have easily accessible can be.Perhaps adding a 'priority' option, filter, search, or otherwise ability to simply sort and filter notes.

Activity notes in app
While the mobile app has improved significantly, there is still much work to do for "on the road" functionality. One specific area of recommendation would be that we could review, AND add new, notes to the activity while viewing the activity.

See what users could see a note
It would very useful if when reviewing notes we could see what users where notified of that note

notes link on account page to see notes for that particular account instead of searching all notes
It would be helpful to have a link to notes on the account page. That way when I click the down arrow, I have a choice to see notes for that particular account.

Automatically show family notes for all contacts - instead of habing to check the box for each account to "show family notes"

Viewing either linked notes or linked documents on completed activities
After an activity is completed, you should be able to see either linked notes or linked documents on the completed activity without going into the activity or having the note in a different "box." Anything relating to that activity should be easily viewed within the box, even if it has a paper clip or a pdf icon on the summary screen indicating that there is either linked notes or a linked document.

Notify User in Note
Please make it to where we can check status of who was notified during a note creation. Many times we have advisors put notes and cannot remember if they notified admin to complete. It would be very helpful to have a record of who was notified and when.

Note Report in Portrait mode
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add an option to print the Note Report in portrait mode like it used to be. We scan our notes to Dropbox, and it is really hard to read them sideways later when we need to...plus the Subject, Notes, Start Date, and Complete Date don't print out properly either.

Pinned note(s) show first on main Contact Screen Note Box
I would like to see the pinned note(s) staying at the top of the quick view notes section located on the main contact screen. As of now you have to go into the contact and then click on the Notes section to the left to see any pinned notes listed at the top.

tagging contact in notes with @ sign or some other way
I'd like to see a way to link another contact in someone's notes...example.
"Nancy called today and told me to call her brother @Robert Killian. He just retired and is looking for help."

Link Existing Notes to Existing Activities
Under the Note Actions you can link an existing note to account - why not to an Existing Activity? I frequently need to clean up the data base for continuity and correctness.
