  1. Good afternoon, I wanted to see if there was some formal way to request adding a time zone to the Redtail CRM? Currently the only options

    Currently the only options available in the Preferences > General Options > Time Zone are American Times. We operate out of San Juan, PR where the time zone is American Standard Time (AST -04:00).

  2. account status

    Please allow us to customize account status as there are more states of an account other than; Closed, Open, Pending, or Under Review.

    We need:
    Annuitized, Internal Transfer, Declined, etc.

  3. Expand the dashboard times

    Have the Dashboard cover more than just today, possibly a rolling week or some longer period of time for Activities and Workflows. The due date (today) designation isn't nearly as important as seeing what's coming due and needs to be worked on in order to be done by the due date (today.)

    A workflow task report that shows the details of the current step/notes entered like the Activities by Contact report. Or a way to export the workflow with details, rather than just a list that is the result of an export currently.

  6. Marking an activity as complete removes it for all users

    I'd like the ability to mark only MY INVOLVEMENT as complete - not the entire task. We have advisors assigning task to multiple staff members and when one user completes the task, it disappears from the rest of the user's dashboard. I'd prefer it to not be officially complete until all users mark it as complete OR create an intermediate option where I can say that MY part is complete and then the last user to mark their portion as complete will complete the task.

  7. android

    The android app is portrait only. While on a small device that's fine, on a large tablet (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S7+) that is used almost always in landscape, the app should autorotate as do nearly all Android apps. There's no setting to even manually rotate.

  8. Allow only zip code, or city/state to be entered

    You currently don't allow us to just enter in a zip code, it forces us to make up a fake address if we know their zip code. It's better to have something than nothing, so if all we know is the city/state or their zip code, why not allow us to enter that in Redtail without having to input a phony street number?

  9. Altruist integration with account opening and importing daily account values

    Altruist has been a great new custodian for RIA advisors. Great to have Redtail/Altruist integration similar to other custodians both with daily account information and possible data sync with clients for new account opening.

  10. Client Review Dates

    Have "next review" be the actual date we schedule with the client for his or her next review -
    Have a "next review due" for when they should be due for their next review
    Have a "last review" field as well
    Have these right where the "next review" currently is so if a client calls in we can quickly retrieve this information. Currently, when we create an activity for his or her review we have to locate that activity (especially if it's planned well in advance)
    Then we can easily export and see who is due for a review

  11. Create a Time Log Box with Start and Stop on Contact Page

    Create a Box that has a start/stop timer with dropdown box when you press stop and logs the time that was spent doing a certain activity. A simple "Button" that says "Start"...then it switches to a "stop" button. When you press stop a dialog box pops up and you can say what that time was spent doing either manually or with a template. Then it creates a data log of the time spent in the specific contacts folder.

  12. Run reports and segment clients by premium amount

    Not everything has AUM apply to it. For the insurance products, we need to be able to see premium dollars and runs reports on this data point.

  14. Permission settings for Workflow Templates and Tasks

    Please allow us to set permissions on who can edit/change workflow templates and tasks once they are started. Right now, anyone can change/remove workflow templates. That is just crazy.

  15. Allow us to remove the category Customer Serice. We use Client Service.

    Please allow us to delete the Catagory titled Customer Service. Industry wide, we call our clients, "Clients," not Custmers. The Customer Service category is hard wired wtih RT and cant be removed. It just adds another Category that causes confusion and shouldn't be used.

  16. workflow report filter & export client addresses

    Add mailing addresses to the export report from the workflow report listing.

    Problem/Issue: We have a workflow with several steps for upcoming appointments. The first step is due 30 days before the client meeting - we mail a reminder card to the client ahead of their meeting.

    NEEDS:

    When running the Workflow Report, and exporting it to Excel, PLEASE add the clients primary/mailing address to the data that gets exported.

    Once in Excel, we will sort by target date so we mail the card on the appropriate date. But we have to copy/paste the addresses manually from each clients' page.…

  18. timezone

    Display two timezones at once vertically on the left side of the calendar.

    Remote work, technology improvements, and hybrid work schedules are increasingly bringing in the opportunity to work with clients from around the world and employees from around the world. Showing two time zones along a calendar would be helpful when coordinating and scheduling meetings as collaboration times that work for multiple parties. This could be something that can be toggled on for people who need it and off for people who don't need it.

  19. Would like the ability to send out automatic reminders to clients on tasks

    Would like to be able to send reminders to clients for open items and to remind them when they have homework assignments from us. Would also like to be able to automate annual reviews and send an invite through an online calendar i.e. calendly

  20. Emoney Redtail integration needs to be expanded

    The Redtail integration to EMoney is a disgrace. We should be able to do more than just dump basic client info from Redtainl into EMoney. We shoulds have the ability to pull account information from EMoney's aggregation functionality. Additionally, reports should be able to be sent into client's note folders.
