  1. Add a date field under Financials in the Strategic Allocation Model section

    Having a date field in this section would be great. Understanding risk tolerance needs to be updated every three years, this would be an excellent option to add so we can track when the risk tolerance paperwork will expire.

  2. Sort Opportunities

    It would be nice to sort opportunities by projected revenue instead of $ amount. If I add an opportunity to charge for a plan, there is no way to sort this because there is no securities involved.

  3. Ability for team members to see when someone is working on a task

    When a task is assigned to a team, it would be very nice for all users on that team to be able to see when a task is being worked on by another team member. This way 2 team members do not both work on the task simultaneously

  4. Import Tool

    Perhaps I'm missing something, but I find no area where I am able to do a custom import. It would be helpful to have the ability to import a CSV file to update contacts, workflows, activities, etc. Most CRM systems have this capability.

  5. browser tabs

    I like to open multiple browser tabs (firefox) in Redtail for clients/contacts I want to work on. Each tab currently says "redtail" and often I will have to click each one to show what contact it represents. It would be super helpful if these tabs showed the contacts last name instead of redtail.

  6. Add Contact Roles as options for Custom Exports

    Seems silly that you can't export a list of clients and see who their Advisor, Associate Advisor and CSA are.

  7. Notes--being able to link a contact to a note you have already posted.

    as it is now, you can only link a contact to a note at the time of creation so in order to link a contact you would have to delete the note and recreate it in order to link. it would be much easier if there was a 'link contact' feature under action just like there is a 'link account' feature action.

  8. Option to allow steps to be active/triggered on the date they are due regardless if the previous step completed

    We need workflow steps not to be hindered by the previous step being uncompleted that the next step isn't triggered for those steps that have a date.
    We use the step tasks as reminders on the specified date to run certain reports on that date. If the step before it isn't fully completed, it shouldn't prevent the next step being active on the date it's due. I know you can skip steps with outcomes and there are "ways around" certain things I've read in Retail's comments on similar requests... but that is not what I'm talking about and that doesn't…

  9. Allow activities to automatically roll forward every day

    We just transitioned from ACT. In ACT all activities that were not completed during the day automatically rolled forward to the following day. There was no need to check for incomplete activities in ACT. It would be very helpful to incorporate this feature into RedTail.

  10. Email Notifications- Activities vs. Notes

    Currently when a user marks a note with the "Notify User/Team" the User/Team gets an email with a link to log in to Redtail to view the note.
    Unlike an Activity when saved and completed the Title and the Description are completely displayed in the notification email.

    Can we have the notes fully display in the email. This would help keep teams all on the same page (especially when working remote).

  11. Make shared contact card information more apparent

    It would be great if shared contact card information would display as shared in some easily viewable manner instead of only saying it is shared when you click on the arrow next to the field and choose edit.

  12. Completed by

    Perhaps we can add a “completed by” line to reflect on the details box? this would be helpful for shared users to know who created and who completes the task rather than digging way down in the time line .

    I would prefer to see it on the front without having to dig too deep.

    Like when you look at the notes section of a contact. It shows completed activities, start date and complete date but not who completed the task.

  13. Add client name to subject line in email notification

    It would be nice to have an option of putting a client name in email notification that a note has been added. It would be a great reference feature for now and in the future if we needed to pull up the notification by name through the email subject line

  16. Under Activities, Displaying Both names rather than "2 Users" .

    We have numerous couples that are clients. When assigning activities, I must do a 2-step process in order to get them both on the activity. Once both clients names are on the activity, the activities section shows "2 users" linked to the activity rather than both names forcing me to do ANOTHER step in order to view who the activities belongs to. Can we please change the "2-users" to display the actual names of both contacts tied to the activity as well as the "assigned" users to display the agents working on the activity.

  17. Bank fields to add: TYPE of acc (eg Check, savings) and ACCOUNT OWNER (eg the husband or wife )

    When exporting the bank info to eg Laser app, one has to research if the bank is check or savings. This could be recorded when the bank info is input. Also should know who the signors of the account are - this helps with work flows like Docusign and others

  18. Please consider making "Discretionary" a field for custom export.

    We are required to disclose this on our annual ADV report. The information is stored. It would be nice if we could access it. Thank you.

  19. workflow task due date

    In response to another post "Workflow Template - Assign Task Due Date," I understand that the timeline for a workflow is set by the steps, but it would be helpful to be able to pre-determine due dates of tasks or at least when manually going in to edit a task, that step due date shows so you can make sure your task due date isn't set too early or too late.

  20. Custom Export Include Assigned Permission

    It would be helpful to be able to include the assigned permissions in a custom export to make it easier to review which contacts are assigned to which permissions.
