    When you look at a note in RT, you should be able to see a list of who was tagged in that note.

  2. Improve Schwab Advisor Center Digital Account Opening to include employment and citizenship data

    As a Redtail User, I would like to have employment and citizenship data pull over in Digital Account Opening as those are required fields to populate on new accounts

  3. Adding Deceased's information on Account page for Bene IRA Profile

    It would be helpful to enter the deceased's information on the Account profile for beneficiary IRAs, specifically, name, relationship, DOB, DOD.

  4. Funnel

    A workflow funnel with automated pop-ups that enable execution of workflow without leaving client profile interface. Include button that says “Complete & move to next step”, and will automatically populate any documents that corresponds with that step, such as a welcome letter, or a follow up letter. The workflow tool needs the feature to link each step to the place where it can be executed without leaving the clients profile. If it could bridge the step to the action and then bridge to the next step, then it would prevent a lot of administrative workflows from falling through the cracks.…

  5. banking

    If multiple banks are listed in the client record, allow us to toggle for a choice of accounts when using LaserApp. It's the same premise as how we are able to choose family members.

    We have many clients with multiple banks listed and as toggle isn't an option, we have to manually enter the information for the second bank. This opens the door for errors.

  7. Security Price Update for Added Accounts: Universal price update for all added accounts holding the same added security not on a feed.

    I have dozens of clients with mutual funds and stocks that are not reported on the Albridge feed. (ie. CLTCX) Some other added accounts have stocks held with the transfer agent or clients hold restricted stock.

    Even though the price of the security is published, I must go into every account to update the price of the security because of it not being on a feed.

    Can we have a feature, whereby if an added account holds a security such as AT&T, I enter the price of AT&T as of a certain date, then all the added accounts holding AT&T…

  9. Email collaboration

    So much of client service is centered around email these days it would be great for teams to be able to collaborate without forwarding a message to a colleague to ask a question, or shooting an FYI to your entire team. The ability to discuss and share emails with a team would be an great additional feature

  10. Linked Contacts suggestion populate alphabetically

    Contacts suggestions in places like "Linked Contacts" in activity details, or search bar should populate alphabetically by first and/or last name. This happens in the search bar currently but not the "Linked Contacts" field which is a guessing game currently on where the contact is on that list.

  13. Activities - Linking Spouse/Significant other

    It would be great to have the ability for an activity assigned to a secondary record within a family automatically connect to a primary record. I typically view a record from the primary record and sometimes forget to look at outstanding actions assigned to the other. Basically, have open activities at the family level as an option.

    Make password requirements compatible with Apple Passwords (and other password managers). I don't have trouble with many sites, but it seems that it would be simple enough for the RedTail team to either modify metadata to communicate existing password rules to password managers, or make the rules themselves compatible with most password managers. They seems to be somewhat standardized and highly secure. Thank you.

  15. REPORT to pull FINRA history from licenses tab of contact record

    Please add a report to pull the FINRA history from the licenses tab of the contact record. We use Redtail to manage our advisors and their securities registration. It would nice to be able to run a report that allowed us to see in a glance if we have someone licensed in a specific state.

  17. Tracking who was Notified in a note

    After typing a note and "notifying" a team and/or individual, it would be spectacular if there was a way to later reference who you notified. SOOOO many times I have said "I notified you of that note" and the person says "I didn't receive an email". We need a way to track who was notified in each note. Maybe in the "general information" section where comments are. It would solve so many things! Why notify at all when you cannot reference or use it to confirm anything?

  18. Organizing Custom Reports

    The ability to create custom reports is great, but when everyone in a company/firm/organization can see a list of every custom report that everyone has created, it can get chaotic and unwieldy. My immediate thought on how to solve this is giving Redtail the functionality to create folders for custom reports. For example, you could have a smaller list of general use custom reports that a firm needs, then individuals could create their own folders to organize their own custom reports.

  19. Would be great if monthly calendar view could scroll from month to month

    Would like to be able to scroll from month to month to get better picture of upcoming appointments and see what's available for scheduling. Having looked at some of the other suggestions related to calendar view, this might address some of issues raised in other suggestions related to calendar scroll at what part of the month can be seen etc

    Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields organized differently for administrative staff and advisors. Our former ACT! CRM provided this ability. The Redtail dashboard tends to "scratch where it doesn't itch" for our needs.

Feedback and Knowledge Base
