  1. Create a spot on the client contact screen to blotter checks received.

    It would be handy for compliance purposes and commission reconciliation to have a report of checks received per month/per advisor.

  2. Add Additional Fields to the Client Review Section

    The Client Review section is lacking. For compliance purposes, advisers need to track when the contact the clients for meetings. Please add the following fields in the Client Review Section:
    1. Date Last Met
    2. Date Last Contacted
    3. Preferred Meeting Place
    4. Preferred Contact Method

  3. Have the beneficiary report be customizable

    Let us build our own beneficiary report. I.E. show account balance or do not show account balance. Show account number, or show partial account number. Show closed accounts or do not show closed accounts.

  4. Home address vs. other preferred mailing address

    Family Head contact shows a home address as well as a PO Box which is flagged as the Preferred Mailing Address. When I search this last name and select the spouse to print a mailing label, the home address is autofilled on the label, not the Preferred Mailing Address. The Preferred Address should be the address autofilled.

  5. Zendesk

    I hire Redtail as my CRM vendor. Redtail outsources the helpdesk ticket system. Very odd that a vendor that embraces seamless integration requires me to have yet another username and password to follow their tickets. Especially when Redtail offers single sign on for other outside vendors. Please integrate.

  6. Account Nickname

    Under the client account section on the Account Card can you add a field that is called "Account Nickname" And have this field be part of the "Accounts by Contact" export. We use account nicknames in addition to the account numbers around the office as to designate the account without having to remember a crazy number that is different from custodian to custodian. Thanks

    This suggestion may be planned, but there is no timeline on this feature being added. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  7. Add fields to comply with the "know your client" FINRA requirements

    Right now about 1/3 of the necessary fields are there and if we could get them all there, easier to document for our records and can be used by virtual assistants.

  8. Add more fields under beneficiaries

    Add fields under beneficiaries for address, relation, DOB, and social security number for each beneficiary. Beneficiary information is extremely important and should be easily accessible all in one location.

  9. Meeting Agenda's

    More and More advisors are using a "Meeting Agenda" to effectively communicate with clients and prospects. The last CRM program I used had a tab, clearly visible, in all contact records called "Agenda".
    So after any meeting, phone call, or anytime at all I could click on the 'Agenda document" and add any content I wanted to discuss with the client at our next meeting or phone call. Then a week prior to my review meeting with a client, my staff and I would review the agenda, prepare any additional case prep paper work, and type out an official agenda…

  10. Link up with fixed index annuities from insurance companies like AVIVA, security benefit life, Allianz, american equity, ING, NAwal, LSW etc

    Link up values to run reports of all client accounts.. We have Schwab, fidelity, tdameritrade, now just add a few of the big FIA Insurance companies

  11. Add an "enable reminder" feature for ALL dates

    Please add an "enable reminder" feature for ALL dates, just as there is for client birthdays. That way we can view other anniversaries and other important dates like "Client Since" date and "Wedding Anniversary" date, on our dashboards along side of client birthdays.

  12. Add columns to the Accounts Overview page

    It would be very helpful to have along with: Number, Company, Product.... to also have "Beneficiary" and "Insured." If these were available we could review over the phone at a glance and see which policies or accounts need updating. There is a big push for accountability for advisors to be sure the beneficiary designations are correct. This would also help identify insurance policies on children which are owned by their parents.

  13. Include Trusts in the Family Portfolio Value

    allow the family trusts and other entities with AUM to be linked so that it shows under family portfolio value. Instead of 'other dependent' include 'trust' or 'associated entity'

  14. Remove Review Date when Client Status = Terminated

    when you terminate a client, their review date should be automatically removed so they stop showing up on the review date reminder

  15. Customize Email viewing permissions

    would like to have some controls over what emails employees can view within the CRM. Example: we want employees to see all emails within a client record, however, would like to restrict the viewing of emails within employee records. We do not want employees viewing emails from the principal of the firm or the compliance officer.

    I know I can delete the emails from the CRM so that no emails appear in the history, however, an employee could simply type it back in to view emails.

  16. History of Client Reviews

    Can we have a system that tracks the history of Client Reviews? Currently we have the option to input the first review, but I don't see how we can track what has been completed. Some clients will not meet exactly within a year (six months, quarterly, etc.) of the first meeting. It would be nice to enter in the reviews and then have the countdown to the next review begin based on the last completed review.

  17. Redtail should push Drivers License data to Smartworks Government ID data fields.

    I should never have to enter the same data more than once on any Redtail integrated product.

  18. Google Earth integration so you can see your contacts on a pre-made map

    I propose a feature that ties into Google Earth so that when you make an appointment with someone, you can visually see all of the other contacts who are within a geographic region.

    So for example:

    1. Your practice is based in San Francisco, CA

    2. You have 1000 contacts spread across the country. These could be clients, prospects, lawyers, and accountants.

    3. You decide that next month, you want to meet a client (Mr. Steve Jones) in Los Angeles, CA which is 8 hours away.

    4. To be more efficient with your travel oppurtunities and expenses, you would love to see a Google…

  19. Read Only Permissions

    I suggest you add a VIEW ONLY as a Database Choice for Users. That way if we want our branch office(s) to be added to our database (and vice versa) as Users to only be able to view the database, calendar, client accounts, etc. so they can assist clients they can do so. However, we don't want the User to be able to make changes or additions to the database or calendar. This ultimately helps reps from the main office (and vice versa) with clients at the branch office to be able to assist those clients over the phone if…
