E-mail notifications for comments on existing notes
Is it possible for Redtail to include e-mail notifications on comments to existing notes. Currently we receive e-mail notifications when a note has been posted on our clients profile, but follow up comments to those notes are not an option for notifications. This is needed since we are constantly updating our clients notes via the comments box and those don't notify. thanks

Contacts > Notes > Comments Notification
Comments on a Note currently do not prompt RedTail to send an Email Notification to the Note Owner. As a result, we just realized that we had been commenting on notes... but the note owners didn't know! Please add a function so that Comments on Notes prompt an Email Notification to whomever created or commented on the note.

Email Notification (Activity Assigned)
I like receiving team notification emails, however when I received activity that is not assigned to me the email reads "You have been assigned a new activity". Please bring back the email notifications the way they were in the OLD REDTAIL CRM. For instance, the person who created the activity/note name is in the FROM, and the Subject reads, "New Activity Team Notification" (not assigned to me) or "New Activity Assigned To You (assigned to me). This is also true for workflows. With the email notifications in the Old CRM I was able to create a email rule where all…

Add Contact Name to Notification Subject Line
For new activities: Add name of contact in email subject other than "Redtail CRM: An activity has been updated." This will allow us when viewing the many notifications for daily RT activities to pick and choose which ones to look at or address immediately. If an activity is updated 2 or 3 times, there are 2 or 3 notifications. This is okay but it makes it redundant and not timely to look at most critical activities first. Especially in a busy environment where activities are getting updated and added quite a bit throughout the day.

@mention for Note User Notification in Alerts Bell
While notes do allow for email notifications to users, a CRM notification that would appear at the top of the bag by the bell would be much more useful. This would reduce steps (opening email, clicking on a link that requires an additional login), and would work better with integrations.
We currently use the jive integration to log client calls, but there is no way to link a user from there.
It sounds childish to request, but something along the lines of an "@" feature would be perfect.

Option to NOT notify existing activities attendees
We get so many activity update email notifications that it would be nice to have the option of NOT notifying attendees for minor updates to an activity. Just like Google calendar offers the option to send updates to existing guests or not. It will minimize emails and notifications to only those that are deemed necessary.

email notification
Notifications received via email provide a summary but no way to click a link in the email and go directly to the Note/Task/Contact record. It would save lots of time if you can hyperlink the Note/Task/Contact record. Currently you would have to view the email notification, log into Redtail, click around to search the contact/task before you can see the details or make any edits

Email Notifications- Activities vs. Notes
Currently when a user marks a note with the "Notify User/Team" the User/Team gets an email with a link to log in to Redtail to view the note.
Unlike an Activity when saved and completed the Title and the Description are completely displayed in the notification email. Can we have the notes fully display in the email. This would help keep teams all on the same page (especially when working remote).

birthday reminder
It would be nice to turn off the enable birthday reminders system-wide so only those clients you definitely want to wish happy birthday can be reminded. As of now you can bulk remove, but all new contacts added are automatically checked. It would also be nice to have an automation template that would email a certain person/team a day or two before a birthday call was required. So, "if enable birthday reminder is checked" then "email user/team".

Hyperlink directly into activity from email notification
We get email notifications when someone has updated an activity, however, there is no hyperlink in the notification email that would easily connect you to the activity for your reply.
Adding a hyper link option in the notification email would save a number of steps.
Current process...
1. Get the email, read the activity and prepare reply needed.
2. Open a browser, go to redtail.
3. Navigate to the client.
4. Find the activity and click on the activity to open it.
5. Write reply and submit. The suggested new process:
1. Get the email, read the activity and prepare…28 votes -
Workflow Notifications- Choose when to send a notification
We have many individuals on a team in our office. It would be beneficial if sending workflow update e-mails were optional; just as they are with notes. It would be helpful to be able to select who the notifications should be sent to.

Add client name to subject line in email notification
It would be nice to have an option of putting a client name in email notification that a note has been added. It would be a great reference feature for now and in the future if we needed to pull up the notification by name through the email subject line

For Notes - Notify "Servicing Advisor"
When putting in notes, instead of having to find who the servicing advisor is first. It would be nice to have an option of "notify servicing advisor".

Add a tagging feature, "@Advisor" for activities
Add a tagging feature, like how Instagram has a tagging feature in comments to notify a certain user.
Instead of getting a bunch of notifications for an activity that the advisor creates, the advisor can set their notifications off for activities, and once the task is done, operations/clerical can notify the advisor that said task/activity is complete by simply writing in the body of text of the task "@username task is complete" or "@username activity is complete"

Notification Emails need to be ENCRYPTED
We have been aware of this issue for a long time now, but I think with the climate today it has become IMPERATIVE that Redtail encrypt notification emails generated from created and updated Activities. I believe many Redtail users put sensitive information in the subject and description such as account numbers (regardless of whether Redtail thinks we should) and then that information is being broadcast to the world in an insecure email if notification settings are not all set to "no". Our office knows of this security issue and we have everyone set their notifications settings to no, and are…
