Link account names from custodian
It would be great if, in addition to the account number, the account name could be synced from the custodian. This way, when you pull up a contact with linked accounts, you would be able to see the account number AND account name as the custodian lists it. This would help to reduce the back and forth for advisors (checking Schwab/Tamarac in addition to Redtail) and add more clarity in linking the account in a Redtail activity/task.

client review
Thank you for working on a Client Review function.What you put together is a god start, but need flexibility to reflect reality and to remain compliant by not altering past dates. What do I mean? If my frequency is 3 month, and my "last Review" was 9/10/2025 the system sets 12/10/2025 as "next review date". The problem is 12/10 may not be a date the adviser can meet or a date the client can meet. Maybe its 12/17/2025 that works for both. The way your system works today is that I have to alter the "last review date" to 09/17/2025…

Important Info - Sync option
Provide an option to hide sensitive client information stored in "Important Info" or prevent it from syncing to the phone’s contact notes when connecting via Exchange. This would give users greater control over client privacy, ensuring that critical details remain secure while still preserving the functionality of "Important Info" within the CRM.

It would be very valuable to be able to select the columns that appear on the "All" contact view screen. I would like to see different fields than servicing or writing advisor. This should be customizable from any contact field. Having their phone number on this view would be much better.

Have a "hot" contact name in a UDF connect with the contact's record.
When we have contact names in a client UDF, it would link to the contact's record. We are having to get creative with some of our information since the program doesn't have certain fields and we can't edit them.

Next Step Opportunity Dates/Activities
It would be really nice if when you added Next Steps to an opportunity, you could set a "Due Date" for the next steps. And then as a follow-up to that request, it would be nice if the due date and next steps automatically created an activity. Basically, it would be nice if the Next Steps auto-created an activity that was then linked to the opportunity, without us having to create an activity separately that cannot be linked to the opportunity.

Add a "Next Step" with assigned person feature to Activities
Below the activity name, have a "Next Step" like in Opportunities. Also give the ability to assign that step to a specific attendee on the Activity.
We don't need the completed next steps listed, we just want to be able to update the person who has the next option on the activity.

Integrate with Lacerte to pull in "Client Status".
We are a tax office as well as investment advisors. Integrations that would be awesome include:
Lacerte - for the Client Status, eFile Status and ESign status.
SmartVault - to be directly connected
SmartWaiver - to pull in signed waivers by email

Add cusip in the field drop down when doing an advanced search on account asset. Every other field is listed except cusip.

Comments - could we get the ability to label/categorize comments?
In our firm, we often label notes with different labels so they can be found more easily later. I am finding the comments feature really useful to keep threads of correspondence on the same topic grouped together. For this reason, I would like to have the ability to label a comment with a category. Not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice.

Columns available to filter on Favorites view screen
It would be great to have my Favorites screen show the client's primary phone & email. Also being able to select my Favorites screen columns to be static would be great. I don't want to have to filter the content every time.

Speak Channel Organization
The ability to organize speak channels in a preferred order. Also add the ability to group channels into different categories for easier management. IE (Team ,Operations, Tech, Etc)

Give us a text box when using "Begins With" or "Like" operands
When doing an advanced contact search, if we choose a field with a preset list of options (Tag Group, Category, Status, etc), regardless of the operand we choose we are only ever given the option to use a preset value from the dropdown box as the search criteria.
It would be very helpful to be have a freeform text box for the "Begins With" and "Like" operands.
For example, we have 6 different tag groups that all start with the same first three letters - "FMG": FMG A Clients, FMG B Clients, FMG C Clients etc. etc. Right now there's…

Open Activities Page - Add in Custom Columns
We are building out our activities to utilize them across multiple different teams within our firm, and we would like there to be a way to add in a category column to the open activities view page. Specifically, the client's Servicing Advisor or the Client Contact Category (which we use to show the office location they are attached to).

Add "Referred By" as a Column option in the Quick Lists area
We create quicklists for all of our prospects so we can track what stage they are in the process. Currently Quicklists have columns from Contact Details including "Status", "Category", "Source", "Type" etc. Can we also add the column "Referred By" as an option?

Workflow tasks should show up in the regular activity list of "things to do today".
I would like Workflow Tasks to show up in the regular activity list of "things to do today". That way, I can view past, upcoming, etc. workflow tasks in my regular activities list. Our entire office, including owner, HATE having to go to a completely separate area to see workflow tasks. As a matter-of-fact, many Workflow tasks are missed because they do not show in the regular activities list. This feature would be VERY helpful in doing our work, planning, and filling in when staff members are absent.

Expand Automation
While the automation function is a time saver, its functionality is far too limiting as we are not provided sufficient options. For instance (and this is just one example), we use (or have been trying to use) our categories to have a more refined view of client- and account-impacting notes. However, automation emails sent out via FMG (e.g., schedule a meeting, invitation to client events, newsletters, etc.) all get dumped into the same category. delete contact category
Need to be able to delete the contact categories of "Personal Client" and "Contact" since we don't want those but they get chosen since they can't be deleted
