  1. Only one user editing a Task at a time

    Will you please make it so only one person can be in an activity at a time. My colleagues and I have experienced having lost important information or date changes to a task because 2 people or more were in the same task.

  2. family tree & relationship within client profile

    Have the ability to state/link who the parents are outside of the current family option. The current option only allows dependents and, if that dependent were to become a client, shows their accounts as well.
    This improvement would help users identify family connections with individuals with divorces parents or a parent(s) that are deceased. It could be displayed in a box similar to "health information" with blanks for "mother:" and "father:_". This plus the "status" option of "related to client" would help bridge name/family changes.

  3. When I click on a client, about 1% of the time, it will bring up a different client.

    I will search for a client in the client search. Click on the client but somehow it will bring up a different client, usually a client I was previously working with. Our other programs, like Outlook and Box, never pull up a completely different file or email. Never. They should get on fixing this problem because 1% of the time is 1% too many.

  4. Go directly to "Activity Details" when creating a new activity

    We want to be able to go straight to the activity details page when creating a new activity. This would create some efficiencies for our team (fewer clicks for activity creation) but, more importantly, it would reduce duplicate email notifications for activities.

    For example, right now, when we click "Add activity" and add the relevant details in the abbreviated "Create Activity" window, attendees get an "activity assigned" notification email as soon as we click "create & edit" and then another "activity updated" email once we actually have the opportunity to get to the activity details screen to add a description…

  5. Client review dates should NOT auto change

    This is, literally, the MOST IMPORTANT thing that advisors need to stay on top of for compliance purposes. In our firm, MOST reviews do not necessarily happen exactly on time. There are all sorts of reasons for this. The "next review date" should NOT CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY.

    This should cycle on an annual (or quarterly, whatever is decided basis) based on a MANUALLY entered "most recent review" date. Then, I should be able to run a report so that I easily know which reviews are overdue.

    This is absolutely CRITICAL. C-R-I-T-I-C-A-L.

  6. Auto-create inferred Memberships

    Would love to see a popup window displaying INFERRED memberships based on the contacts existing family/memberships.

    i.e. Barbara and Paul are married and have 2 children. Upon creating an Aunt/Nephew membership for Barbara. A pop-up window appears asking if you'd like to create an Uncle/Nephew membership for Paul, and Cousin/Cousin memberships for their 2 kids.

    Bonus points if the window has dropdowns to change the membership types (for example from 'Sister' to 'Half-Sister') before confirming.

    Please consider this. It would be a massive time-saver!

  7. AUTO SAVE COMMENTS JUST LIKE NOTES ARE AUTO SAVED TO DRAFT

    Especially in a client management system, notes and more specifically comments in notes need to be automatically saved so we can efficiently document conversations with clients or actions taken for clients.
    Too many times have I been typing a comment and i accidentally click outside the box and it closes and all the notes are lost.

  8. A quick daily/weekly overview of "notes" and/or "comments" made from the day/s before.

    My employer comes in every day asking what have we done and where are we with this person.
    If he could just open up Redtail CRM and click a tab and it would give him an overview of all the comments and notes made the day before, it would answer everything he needs to know.

  9. when trying to get rid of the Important Information icon ( ! ) it would be beneficial to have a 'Delete' choice instead of clearing the fie

  10. Provide an option to REMOVE THE AUM from dashboard

    I LOVE the AUM on the dashboard. It was great to see it grow over time. However, now I've switched BDs to Commonwealth and no longer have access to Albridge data. My feed will no longer update. For all the reasons it is cool to see your AUM it very much sucks to see a goose egg at every log on. Seriously, this could eventually be a deal breaker for us, Redtail.

  11. Notify teammates of past due workflow

    Because workflows can easily become past due and fall off the radar, as they do not continue to pop up after they're past due, it would be great to have a feature that we could notify a teammate of a workflow sitting unattended.

  13. Save Activity Drop Down Option - Save & Print

    It would be super handy to be able to save an Activity and immediately print it off. The current method requires us to Save an event, then open it back up, in order to be able to print notes we've entered into the Description section. I enter agenda's for each meeting and always have to save before printing. This would save me so much time.

  14. Phone call Relaying/Forwarding integration

    Something I LOVED on a previous CRM was the ability to click the phone number, and it would call your phone, you answered, and it would call that client for you through the phone system (it didn't matter what phone system you used, so individual app integration didn't matter, it just called your phone number to make the call for you). So much easier and faster than dialing the number, and creating a new event/note that I made a call to that person that day. It automatically logged that call and I could add notes.

  15. notes

    Condense the notes that accumulate under individual contacts. For instance, every time an activity is completed, a new note is made that takes up space. It then takes time to scroll down through the archived notes when one is looking for something specific. We manually are having to delete all of these "completed activity" notes. It would be preferable if these were condensed and didn't take up so much visual real estate space cluttering up archived notes. Maybe they could even be set to auto delete after 30 days.

    add a simple checklist feature that works like microsoft ToDo. This could be daily, could be assigned to an assistant, or could be ongoing.

  18. inserting notes

    It would be so helpful if we can insert a note for the previous month.

    Currently, If I come across something that should have been added previously to a client's profile - I write the date of the note first then the note itself. but this messes up the timeline, in case I need to search the item by date I have to scroll over all the notes to find the note needed.

    Can this be added to redtail.

  19. Incoming email meeting requests are not automatically added to the Redtail sync calendar in Outlook. Publicize any workaround for this.

    I would like my calendar to sync without any manual adjustments. Currently the Outlook desktop application adds meeting requests that are emailed to me to the DEFAULT OUTLOOK calendar. It would be nice to be able to change this default calendar or for the Retriever Cloud sync to sync with Outlook's default calendar instead of the "sync" calendar that Retriever Cloud creates s a separate Outlook calendar.

  20. Call log integration into Activities or Notes

    Integrate way to log calls from existing Contacts into Activities or Notes section. Prefer to keep it display separately from Notes to not clutter Contact's profile.
