drag drop workflow tasks
In the calendar, we should be able to drag / drop workflow tasks to different dates just like we can for other activities. It is cumbersome to move workflow tasks b/c you have to open the task, change date and save.

Add color coding to Actvities Categories - easier to see the current step in an activity process
I would like to ability to color code the different categories in the Activities tab. We have multiple steps to most of our activities and you can currently update the category to the current step, but it would be nice to have this color coded. For this reason, we use Microsoft Outlook tasks so that we can color code the current step in each activity. I would love to be able to do this in Redtail so that we can link these activities to our client.
For example, activities in the Waiting for Client Signature stage are color coded orange.…6 votes -
Reviews
It would be great if you could put a dynamic Review button in the client appointment booking page to denote whether this appointment should be the Last Review Date. Also if there is a field that says Target Date of Next Review you could enter the date specifically or choose 3, 6 or 12 months interval and it would default to a date in the future so you could run a date based report to remind you who to reach out to schedule. You could also run a Last Review Date Report but these would each be a way to…

Add a recall button to emails sent to recipients. Other email host has this feature. It's great to have the email history/ archive but please add a recall button!

Notes Sorted by Date - not by completion date.
I want the ability to filter by completion date. Currently, it only filters by start or assigned date which doesn't help if I wanted to see a report of all activities completed last month for example.

More extensive family tree capabilities
The family tree that you can build out currently is extremely limited and linear - you should be able to build out siblings with their spouses and children. The membership section is out of the way and awkward to use.

Link an already created note to an Opportunity
You should be able to link a note that was already created to an Opportunity, rather than needing to create the note within the Opportunity right off the bat.

Client Account Security - Verbal Passcode
If a client wishes to have for us to request a verbal passcode when they call us, it would be handy to have an immediate notification or popup each time that client's profile or accounts are accessed.

Please revert the unlinked accounts to including the FULL tax ID number. Sometimes we have accounts that start to feed without an account number issued (like for 401k clients) and now there is no good way to track down that owner. These changes are unnecessary.

Workflow Step Due Date - Add date of creation
Normally when workflows are created we have to select the due dates for the step based on "before target date", "on target date", or "after target date". Can we add an option for the due date to be "day of creation" or possibly choosing a time that is based on "after creation date.

Sorting tasks on the main page by overdue, today, and future
Unless I go into the activity tab and filter to past due, or past due and today, etc. There is no easy way for me to see overdue tasks unless I manually keep pushing the due date.

let's talk bubble for support chat
It would be nice to be able to move the "Let's talk" bubble in the bottom right corner. Sometimes it hides information that I need to see.

My Rep Chat takes up too much room.
With the new updates in RT, the text messages that come thru from My Rep Chat into the notes section now take up so much room. It gives a new section for each response, even if someone just said thank you. It used to be where the text stayed in one whole section. Now you have to scroll down thru the notes section to get what you are actually looking for. It would be helpful if this appeared smaller or if there was another category all together for just My Rep Chat text messages. Thanks!

Record Last Name Changes
The ability to track (and search, ideally) when clients have a previous last name (ie name change from marriage/divorce)

Searching by client nickname
When searching for a client by their nickname and last name (for example: Bob Jones, instead of Robert Jones), it does not pull up the client.
