Link Activities to Seminars
It would be really nice to be able to link an activity directly to a Seminar without having to link it to a note - we have the option to link workflows directly on the seminar page, but not activities, and it would be really helpful to be able to do that all in one place.

Seeing more than one client on Tasks
The update that shows a person symbol for more than one client is not helpful. Please revert back to where you can visually see the clients

newest update - can't view contact names while looking at calendar unless you hover over "2 Contacts"
The newest update for July 2024 changed how you view and print the calendar. We want to be able to look at quick glance who is scheduled for an appointment. We also print a calendar daily and now have to manually type the clients names to be able to view who the appointment is with. Please change back or allow users to choose how they want to view the calendar.

Interface is segmented, Update for better flow
When navigating Redtail, the interface is simple to use, however it is very segmented. For example, when I want to see a client's contact information, I need to click in several areas. I look at the contact card, contact details, then go to the KYC and click through all of that information.
It is very time consuming, we should have the option to combine this all into one clean section when we look at the contact page. The activities should also not be such a large section, they should be off to the side or below the client's information out…

Calendar that Clients can schedule on
We need the ability to send our calendar to our clients so that they can schedule a time right onto our calendar to meet. This way what we already have marked off will show up and there will be no confusing on if they can schedule at a specific time. Like calendarly but then this way we will not need to integrate anything.

I would love hidden workflow templates
Hidden templates
For workflow queens like myself I would love the option to hide my templates that I have very personalized to my daily tasks. With the numerous workflows I want to personalize I and my entire office would prefer these to not be visible to the entire office because then they have to weed through my workflows and vice versa. "trusted contact" .
Would like to suggest adding a place where a "trusted contact" information can be added. Like in the basic information or the ID Card or somewhere where it can be accessible promptly and not hiding. It would help if an emergency would arise.

Automation of workflows based on Opportunity Stages
It would be nice to have a workflow automation that is based on an Opp Stage. We are an RIA, and it would be great to have the account opening workflow automatically started when an Opportunity is, for example, in Stage 4.

Team Member Color Coded Activity Boxes
Instead of each team member having a contact bubble color, there should be an option for each person to have a color coded activity box. Color coding activities is way too complicated.

Zocks Note formatting when imported to RedTail
Activities imported from Zocks retain the formatting in Redtail.
But Notes imported from Zocks lose the formatting and are imported in plain hard-to-read format. Keep the Zocks Note formatting.3 votes -
workflow outcomes restarting the workflow due date
Why would there be outcomes that could essentially restart a workflow but not restart the due date? On top of that, how come we cannot schedule the optimal time fame for an outcome restart?

Private activities identifier
After performing a manual backup, we are receiving all activities, including those that are "Private." However, we need a way to identify these "Private" activities, as they are not explicitly marked as such and their permissions are not retained in the backup data.

Family per advisor
Create a report that you can pull family (households) per advisor, rather than having to manually do it in a spreadsheet.

contact status per advisor report
Please create a report where you can pull the contact status (i.e. Active Client) per advisor, along with the AUM, rather than having to export it to a spreadsheet

Opportunities Templates and Date of Creation Filter
I would like the ability to edit the opportunity template including stages and types. Not every opportunity needs to be limited to 9 stages, nor does there need to be 9 stages for all users of Redtail. Being able to customize what stages you have and why type of opportunity it is would be very beneficial across all users on Redtail.
Additionally, I would like the option to be able to filter opportunities by the date the opportunity was created. Either being from a specific month or a year or by the entirety.

Restrict who can create new contacts
In an office with multiple employees, we are constantly running into people putting contacts in without full details... review months, servicing advisor, address, phone, etc. We are also seeing duplicates because of misspellings or people not paying attention to details.
I would like to see an option where we could limit who is building contact records, so that information is properly entered the first time and corrections - and missed details - are kept to a minimum. Advisors could provide support staff with information (even if not every contact detail was available) to minimize issues.

professional contact
I don't like that Redtail automatically creates a contact if I add a Professional Contact for a client. Same with their Employer. I don't need these to be listed separately as Contacts if I only want to see them under that particular client. Maybe a check box for if you want to add the prof contact or employer as a new Contact in the database.

Orion planning
For Orion Planning, when you create a contact or import from Redtail, there should be an option to bundle more than one questionnaire for the client to fill out when they get set up.
