Contact Details - custom field
It would be great if there were one or two fields within the Contact Details section that could be customized. We'd like to assign a client service associate to each client, and while we can add this to the UDF section, it would be so much easier to locate if it was right there under or above "Servicing Advisor" in the Contact Details.

Manage Database List
It would be nice if in the "Manage Database Lists" section if we had the ability to remove default category types and other defaulted information for cleaning up our CRM.

Rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card
Create a way to rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card (not archive). Despite a thread that said this had been done, I don't believe it has.

Orion Advisor Integration - Link the Redtail client back to the Orion Household during auto-link
When using autolink to load Orion accounts to Redtail, also automatically link the client back to the household in Orion so the 2-way synch will work without manually having to link every household. We auto-linked about 800 accounts and then found out we have to go through the clients one by one and manually link them back to a household in Orion. The matching Social Security number was the key to uploading all the accounts from Orion. Why not then link the Redtail client to the Orion household at that point?

Activity Template
Allow activity template categories as an easier way to organize our seemingly endless list of activity templates. Maybe allow them to be categorized by department or team

Beneficiary report
Would you please consider adding beneficiary data to your report-writer function? This would include primary and contingent beneficiary information. With covid, we are trying to watch out for our clients without beneficiary data or for married clients without contingent beneficiary data. Thank you for your time.

Click and Drag Activity to a Trash can
It is cumbersome to have to open an activity then delete, when the calendar can have this feature to facilitate a smoother workflow.

Default Permission
It would be helpful to be able to say "any contact added by XYZ user should be assigned a default Permission of ABC". The current options in the Automations do not allow for this.
We have multiple users in our database that only work under one team. It is an extra step for them to remember to add their Permission each time they add a contact and even harder to remember to go in and update any contacts that are created automatically as Employers or Spouses etc.
Having this set to happen automatically would be a huge time saver and…

Link opportunities to the calendar. Particularly link close dates.
When creating an opportunity, link the close date for the particular opportunity to your calendar. It prevents adding another step and makes using the Opportunity function seamless.

Opportunity Notifications
We are hoping Opportunities may be set up similar to the Activity and Workflow features in regards to notifications. We have multiple Users and multiple Teams in our database. We would like a large Team to have Permission to view the Opportunity but have the capability to turn off notifications on actions/updates done to Opportunities.

Option to allow steps to be active/triggered on the date they are due regardless if the previous step completed
We need workflow steps not to be hindered by the previous step being uncompleted that the next step isn't triggered for those steps that have a date.
We use the step tasks as reminders on the specified date to run certain reports on that date. If the step before it isn't fully completed, it shouldn't prevent the next step being active on the date it's due. I know you can skip steps with outcomes and there are "ways around" certain things I've read in Retail's comments on similar requests... but that is not what I'm talking about and that doesn't…16 votes -

Automation link/ create Opportunity
Please add automation so that when a prospect is created an opportunity can automatically be created linked to that contact.

Add age or birthdate on family page
Please add the age or birthdate with the dependent's name on the family page. That would allow us to see the ages of all the kids without clicking on each child.

Ability to Tag Multiple Users When Adding a Note
Right now, we only have the ability to tag one user when inputting a client note. it would be very very useful if we were able to tag multiple users since in many instances, the information is pertinent to more than just one other teammember. Thanks

NOTES -- Create limited "Draft" and permanent "FINAL" saves.
We understand that notes are permanent and cannot be edited/changed-- that's the way it should be. We REALLY NEED, HOWEVER, TO BE ABLE to first save a "rough draft" of a note (perhaps with a 3-hour limit) so it can be spell-checked, cleaned-up, items forgotten added, items poorly stated cleaned-up, etc. We are NOT suggesting the ability to change a note that has been saved as FINAL. once it's SAVED IN FINAL, NO MORE CHANGES. But give us a limited "draft" option, especially for phone/verbal PC notes. (Please vote your support for this change if you agree. Thank you.)
