  1. Activity - "Waiting for" field

    Activities are often delayed when waiting for a response or action to be completed by a non-Redtail user. I would like a "Waiting for" field that displays as part of the activity list to indicate why an activity isn't being completed.

    I currently do this as part of the Activity description, but I have to remember to delete that part prior to completing the activity so it doesn't become part of the permanent Note title.

  2. trigger events

    The ability to have a trigger event on an activity date. For example I am adding an activity today for something that will happen a year from now. So a year later once its the day of the activity, being able to have a workflow automatically linked would be very helpful.

  3. SYNC Calendar with Microsoft Exchange

    Please sync the RT calendar with MICROSOFT EXCHANGE & CALENDLY. I was shocked after seeing that you only integrated the RedTail (RT) calendar with Microsoft 365, but not with Microsoft Exchange which I have to believe is the primary 'corporate' calendar many of us use. PLEASE, please link the RT calendar with Microsoft Exchange specifically. We would be so grateful!

  5. Add/Remove Activity Attendees in Bulk

    Currently, users can only Reassign attendees, which has the effect of removing ALL current attendees.

    Users need a way to add/remove particular attendees from activities in Bulk, similar to how Permissions works.

    This will help with users who are being disabled, and their activities to be a reassigned to another person, without replacing any other attendees on those said activities.

  6. Super Admin

    This request is more so for managing database users & teams, but could be related to several items that require security checks or DBO access. We could really use a Super Admin feature within the CRM. As we know, DBOs are not always so hands on with Redtail, so it would be beneficial if there was a role in between Admin and DBO that would allow users with super admin rights to make changes such as editing Optional User Rights. This would also help reduce calls/tickets for security checks because the super admin would have access directly via the system.

  7. Bulk UDF Additions

    When setting up an account, it would be very helpful and time-saving to select UDFs from a list and add them all at once, then go back and edit them with the needed information.

  8. Make adding a step to a workflow easier

    Would it be possible to create an "Add a new step here" button on the workflow templates? Or something that allows you to drop a step in where you want it; instead of creating them at the bottom of the template and then having to move it?

  9. A global setting that would put spouses name in the Additional Linked Contact field automatically

    We are selection the spouse's name with every married client for the Additional Linked Contact field. What if there was a Global Setting the defaulted the spouse into that field. You could always delete it if you did not want the note copied to her contact.

  10. Bulk Actions for Accounts

    If you run a report for accounts or pull up accounts by type you are not able to do any bulk actions except export. I would like to be able to bulk delete closed accounts, or bulk edit account sections such as account type, account manager, account company instead of having to do it on an individual basis.

  12. Go directly to "Activity Details" when creating a new activity

    We want to be able to go straight to the activity details page when creating a new activity. This would create some efficiencies for our team (fewer clicks for activity creation) but, more importantly, it would reduce duplicate email notifications for activities.

    For example, right now, when we click "Add activity" and add the relevant details in the abbreviated "Create Activity" window, attendees get an "activity assigned" notification email as soon as we click "create & edit" and then another "activity updated" email once we actually have the opportunity to get to the activity details screen to add a description…

  14. Add Alerts For Past Due Activates As A Reminder To Home Page on Redtail

    Adding an Alert activity for all the Past Due Activities would be a good reminder and beneficial to add to the Home Page on Redtail- If the activities become a week old. This would be helpful so you don't miss any activities that fall through the cracks, due to a busy day or if you had a sick day.   15. Team Notice Acknowledgement

    Sometimes a team notice is very important for everyone to see. It would be nice to be able to allow users to acknowledge it so you know when everyone in the office has seen it. Also maybe it should pop-up as a window to dismiss when you first login so you can't miss it.

    Rather than a spreadsheet I'd like a custom REPORT to PDF to showing Client Account details and balance and withdrawals and RMD and date for review with client

  18. Orion Advisor Integration - Link the Redtail client back to the Orion Household during auto-link

    When using autolink to load Orion accounts to Redtail, also automatically link the client back to the household in Orion so the 2-way synch will work without manually having to link every household. We auto-linked about 800 accounts and then found out we have to go through the clients one by one and manually link them back to a household in Orion. The matching Social Security number was the key to uploading all the accounts from Orion. Why not then link the Redtail client to the Orion household at that point?

  19. to be able to search by a nick name or a street address or even a email address

    If we could search by contact nickname, address or email address for marketing it would really save a lot of time searching information that might need to be updated.

  20. Seminar REGISTRANTS v. Invited Contacts

    Please set up Seminar so that the count that appears at the top of the page counts the contacts who have registered to attend the event, not just counting all contacts that have been linked to/invited to the event.

    For instance, we have 50+ registrants and that count doesn’t appear at the top of the page, but the number of contacts that have been added to the Seminar/event (invitees) appears at the top of the page as attendees, which isn’t an accurate summary of actual registrants.
