  1. EMAIL archive needs to be in real time to serve sales team not just service team

    the email history needs to be in real time rather than 24 hour delay.... a delay like this is fine if you have already earned the account, just coasting, where my customer service person or myself might be leisurely floating though the accounts seeing who we can bless today but in a firefight, with another firm, trying to earn the account, the sales team needs to know closer to real time what was said and by who in email. Notes are in real time and no one questions why thats important so seriously, lets get this email archive current so…

  2. Personal Profile

    Include "Memberships" in the report so we can see the names of adult children and other family members. Or consider including a few customization options in the personal profile form, memberships being one option.

  3. allow today view to to show our preference of today's activities

    I want the ability to change the preference on Today to show Today's activities AND past due at the same time. Sure, it isn't for everyone, which is why I should be able to turn it on only if I'd like.

  4. Automatic Spouse Contact Record Should Inherit Permissions

    An automation exists to permission new contact records to the associated advisor, so other advisors cannot see that advisor's contacts. This is a compliance requirement and Redtail has this functionality. However, When a spouse record is created automatically from a contact, it does not get the permissions that are assigned to the associated Contact - even though is has the same information as the contact that the automation uses to assign permissons.
    This is causing a compliance issue as the spouse record can be seen by other advisors. Can you please 'enhance' the system to apply the same permissions to…

  5. Contact Details - custom field

    It would be great if there were one or two fields within the Contact Details section that could be customized. We'd like to assign a client service associate to each client, and while we can add this to the UDF section, it would be so much easier to locate if it was right there under or above "Servicing Advisor" in the Contact Details.

  6. Life/domestic partner option in Family (in lieu of Spouse)

    Add the option for life partner or domestic partner when creating a family in place of Spouse. The Other option doesn't show up in the Family on the "other" person's contact record. Utilizing memberships takes extra steps and you have to search for it by clicking More, then Memberships. Any time saved is beneficial.

  7. Rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card

    Create a way to rearrange, move and sort the order of the phone numbers and addresses in Contact Card (not archive). Despite a thread that said this had been done, I don't believe it has.

  8. RE: Next Review Date. Please enable us to put a future date not based on any previous review date and put it back to the way it used to be.

    Regarding the “Next Review Date” on a Client Review Reminder. They changed the format recently and you are no longer able to randomly choose to add a future date if it doesn’t coincide with the previous “First Review Date” which many times it does not. Please enable us to be able to put a future date in not based on any previous review date and put it back to the way it used to be so we can just go into the drop down calendar and set it for whatever future date that we choose

  9. Save all emails as notes

    Currently, we can manually choose to save the emails we send through the CRM or set up the templates to automatically check the box to save. Can we look at adding a preference where every single email we send through the CRM automatically has the "Save As Note" box checked? Thanks!

  10. Add "Last date updated" to opportunities

    Need to add "Last date updated" so we can see the last time someone contacted/worked on the opportunity. Should not have to detail into every opportunity to see how long it it has been since someone contacted or worked on the opportunity

  11. Beneficiary report

    Would you please consider adding beneficiary data to your report-writer function? This would include primary and contingent beneficiary information. With covid, we are trying to watch out for our clients without beneficiary data or for married clients without contingent beneficiary data. Thank you for your time.

  12. From app add more than 1 contact to a note

    Very frequently notes would apply to multiple contacts most commonly spouses. The desktop version handles this just fine, but from the app it is impossible to have more than 1 contact linked to the note. for now that means I make the note then go to the note and copy and paste to the spouse.

  13. Expand Automations to include trigger events around specific workflow or activity templates

    We need the ability to utilize automation when certain workflow or activity templates are added or completed. Example, when a workflow for new client on-boarding is completed- assign the "schedule financial planning implementation meeting" activity template. Or when a "client trade" activity template is completed, set off the "client money movement" workflow.

  14. Please give us more recurring scheduling options

    I can set an activity to repeat on the first Monday (etc) of the month, but I cannot set it for the first (etc) day of the month. Very frustrating options, I go in circles frequently trying to decide how to set recurring activities to accomplish what I need to. Often I have to chose something that is less than perfect, knowing that each month when it comes up I will have to manually adjust it to be what I need, and hope I don't miss it before that happens.

  15. Add client name to subject line in email notification

    It would be nice to have an option of putting a client name in email notification that a note has been added. It would be a great reference feature for now and in the future if we needed to pull up the notification by name through the email subject line

  16. UDFs should be able to be used in the advanced search feature

    It would be helpful to be able to filter by a UDF when running a quicklist instead of having to create a custom export template.

  17. Please Don't Make Next Task Dependent on Current Task Being Completed

    If multiple users are assigned to a Workflow and one user forgets or simply does not complete their current task, the rest of the tasks then don't get completed, leaving either a major bottleneck of work to later do or even worse, overlooked. Please allow the steps in a Workflow to not be dependent upon sequential completion. In talking to several other advisors and support staff at Orion Ascent, Workflows are not being used at all for this specific reason. Our prior CRM did not have this restriction and this is making the adoption of RedTail a much more difficult…

  18. Add nicknames to the search contact feature

    To the "Search Contacts" search bar, add in clients "nickname" to the search feature. If the client goes by something other than their first name, that name needs to be featured in the search contacts function.

  19. Improved Functionality for Linked Account Detail Labels

    okay soo I've been really diving into the account details section of client profiles (Client -> Accounts -> select account) and two request that would increase the functionality of the CRM for our firm.

    Request 1:
    PLEASE make this change. It's such a no brainer and would immediately improve the functionality and interconnectedness of the CRM.

    • CURRENT ISSUE: when listing a beneficiary to a linked account, the beneficiary exists as a static data point - it should be able to be linked to an existing Redtail profile if there is one.

  20. Have the beneficiary report be customizable

    Let us build our own beneficiary report. I.E. show account balance or do not show account balance. Show account number, or show partial account number. Show closed accounts or do not show closed accounts.
