Custom mailing labels
We have mailing addresses for each client. Please make it possible to run labels for this address rather than the default home address.

activities report to show contact name
Please add a linked contact column to the Activities by contact report. That is the only report where I can get a holistic view of all activities whether they are assigned by me, assigned to me or assigned by others to others, but I can't tell who the linked contact is when I use this report.
Or alternatively, create another activity report that has the same columns as the Activities assigned by reports that can show ALL activites.1 vote -
Activity template permissions
I want to be able to pick permissions for activity templates. We are trying to keep each advisor's business separate and only with permissions in activities can that be done fully (so no one unauthorized can edit it, which is what we really want). I thought if we had them use templates they wouldn't have to remember to do that each time but that isn't an option I see. Please add!

Pin a note feature
Have the option to pin an important note in the contact record so it can be easily accessable.

Activities filter dates-
Activities Filter dates- Would like a default option for open/completed activities filter dates to lock for the user's preferred time period. This option would be accessible in the Preference area like it is listed under Activity Management, so it would only change if selected by the user to switch from default.

show workflow steps on calendar
In addition to Workflow Target Date and individual tasks, it is also helpful to see Workflow steps on calendar.

Report field value formatting
When running UDF reports, the results that show on screen does not retain formatting (shows like html). Would be nice to be able to see the formatted results without having to print to PDF first.

Customize list results views
Add ability to customize the view resulting from search results. For example, being able to add a customized UDF column, or phone number, or next client review date, etc.

automation
Would be great to automatically send an email using a specific, existing Redtail Email Template once an Activity is created.
i.e. Activity = Client Review. Once created, the Client Review Email Confirmation template would be triggered to send.

Activity Report Export - Add columns for user that completed and completion timestamp
an activity can be assigned to multiple users but firms what to know/report who actually completed (i.e. user that completes the task). Please include the date/time activity was completed.

Recurring Workflows
"Workflows" should have the ability to reoccur the same as "activities" do.

Activties/Dates - go back to the way "custom range" was before the update, new way is to time consuming - using the report option, takes even more time

Activity Template - Add checkboxes, fillable PDF style
I like the idea of an activity template but I have some processes done now on forms that have nice spots to check off things and in activities I cannot do that. I would love a checkbox bulleted list option like in OneNote. I also would love to be able to make some default activity template text not editable and make it obvious where a person needs to fill out their info. I don't want them deleting 'Account Type - ' to put in (on a new account template) IRA. I also wouldn't mind making some boxes or fields required…

Please allow us to upload mail merge templates in .docx form
Microsoft Word replaced the .doc file extension with .docx after their 2007 version. Sharepoint no longer allows us to store .doc files, so we must convert any file we work on from .docx to .doc, before we can upload it as a mail merge template, then we have to convert it back to .docx to store. This is silly. Please allow us to use .docx files as mail merge templates.

Email distinction for Internal vs. External
RT captures all email history for anyone with an email listed on the database. However, it has become an issue internally because email rights allow viewing private internal (HR) discussions. This has caused management to remove all employee emails from the RT database, so we can no longer research email history unless it is just between you and the client. This adds to going back in forth with other teammates to confirm if they spoke to a client or followed up on a particular issue. Please create a way to view all external emails, not emails that bear the same…

Automatically Alert Team Members of Updates and Adjustments
Anytime you update an activity or create a new one, it gives the option to alert your team or alert specific individuals within your team. I would appreciate having a setting preference that automatically assumes you wish to alert your team. (Example: Set the automation to alert the team every time you create a new activity, even if they are not participants. Or an automation that alerts your team through email to all adjustments you make on contact records and activities.) I think this would mitigate missed steps to alert your team and maintain constant communication within the team.

Set Activity Availability on Calendar
This is primarily for purposes for integrating the Redtail calendar with scheduling apps like Calendly.
It would be nice to be able to set the "Availability" for activities as Free, Tentative, or Busy like Outlook has with their "Show As" option.
Currently, any Tasks or other activity types that sync between Redtail and Outlook show up as Busy in Outlook and need to be manually changed to Free if it's meant to be a reminder or something that can be moved around, otherwise it makes that time spot unavailable for Calendly scheduling.

Allow .Docx vs .Doc for Mail Merge Templates.
We need to resave current .Docx files as .Doc (old word format) every time we add a new template or want to amend a current template.

Activities reports overflow
When I run any of the activities reports, some of the columns that show information overflow off the page and there is no horizontal scroll bar to reach the information. Can only reduce browser size with Ctrl & - to zoom out in order to see the info or use the arrow key which you wouldn't know to do so if you didn't already know there was more information to the right of the page.
