Automation Trigger Event: Client Age
This would allow us to trigger Workflows or Notifications when clients achieve a specific ages: 18, 21, 59.5, 60, 62, 65, 67, 70, 72, etc.
Some use case examples:
1. UTMA registration needs to be changed
2. Minimum social security claiming age achieved
3. Remind client to sign up for Medicare

If we could take an image and upload it into our email signature (pdf, jpg) rather than needing a URL to do this.

Doc viewer within the CRM Doc Storage Page
Every time I need to view a document in the CRM document storage area I have to download to my computer to open it in Adobe. This causes a duplicate document to be placed in my download file. Redtail needs an embedded viewer on the CRM documents storage area to be able to examine within Redtail.

Adding a strikethrough option similar to how you can bold and underline text
I think it would be helpful to add a strikethrough text option just like how there is a bold text and underline text option. This would allow you to strikethrough the next when you have completed a step in the description box of an activity.

Be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed
We have been able to add linked notes to an activity after it was completed for well over a year since I have been using Redtail. I just found out it was a bug and we weren't supposed to be able to do so. This is so much easier and quicker and many less steps to be able to add a linked note after an activity is completed. It should be an available option.

We need the ability to export a list that we run in contacts advanced search and be able to select the fields that we export.

UDF's in Advanced Search
Please allow User Defined Fields (UDF's) to be used in Advanced Search.
We need this for basic compliance review of client agreements (we have multiple service agreements, so one "client since" field does not work). Plus tracking of client meeting UDF's.20 votes -

Report for insurance premiums due
I need to run a report for a life insurance policy to show the clients who have a premium coming due. I can run a custom export, but it doesn't reflect the client's who have modal premiums.

Allow color coding workflows based on "Assigned To".

Seminar REGISTRANTS v. Invited Contacts
Please set up Seminar so that the count that appears at the top of the page counts the contacts who have registered to attend the event, not just counting all contacts that have been linked to/invited to the event.
For instance, we have 50+ registrants and that count doesn’t appear at the top of the page, but the number of contacts that have been added to the Seminar/event (invitees) appears at the top of the page as attendees, which isn’t an accurate summary of actual registrants.

rider report
Can we add a filter where we can pull a report with all of the riders listed? I know we have one with the rider reminders, but can we pull one where it lists the client's names, accounts, and riders?

Save all emails as notes
Currently, we can manually choose to save the emails we send through the CRM or set up the templates to automatically check the box to save. Can we look at adding a preference where every single email we send through the CRM automatically has the "Save As Note" box checked? Thanks!

accessing templates from inside the activity screen
When in the activities screen, when cloning an activity, it would be extremely helpful to be able to access the different activity templates from that screen. This would help fill/change a lot of the form fields as opposed to have to do them all manually.

Automation
The option to update/set field for UDF does not currently exist in Redtail. You can set a field with the trigger being "Activity Added", but the options of the field to update is limited to:
Activity Type
Activity Category
Activity Importance
Activity Priority
So does not include a UDF field.Also, we would want the trigger to be Activity Category marked as completed - not added, so the UDF field would be updated once Activity was completed. Otherwise we would have to remember to delete, if Activity is cancelled. Currently a UDF as Review date field for each year. We…

notifications within opportunities
Within Opportunities, there should be a Notification button for something to be completed within Opportunities. Right now, I am having to create the Opp, then make an Activity to remind a User to do the next step. It seems redundant. Thanks for your consideration. It would make things more streamlined and efficient.

On Email notifications, put linked contact's name at the top of the email (with type/subject)
On Email notifications, put linked contact's name at the top of the email (with type/subject) rather than at the bottom where we have to scroll all the way to the end of the email to see who it is for.

Scan a document into notes section using the app
I would like a scan function in the app, so when I am handed a document or take notes by hand on the road I can go to a client's note section in the app and scan it in.

be able to HTML email code.
We were previously able to code email's instead of simply typing into the body of the email. It was taken away for an unexplained reason. It was an incredibly helpful feature.

to be able to search by a nick name or a street address or even a email address
If we could search by contact nickname, address or email address for marketing it would really save a lot of time searching information that might need to be updated.
