  1. Redtail Support Chat

    It would be nice having the option to have an instant message support chat with Redtail support. It would be really convenient to have the option for quick questions to be answered rather than having to wait and talk through email.

  2. Printable Overview of Workflow Templates

    I am writing this at the time of the new workflow template editor update (2021.05.17). The old template editor is what I would use to get screenshots of workflows to print off and discuss in a meeting with our team. I would use screenshots of the outcomes list and the template (because it showed the full text in the task descriptions in an organized format) to compile a document we could cut apart, rearrange, and discuss if the workflow accurately guided process.   3. Collapse/Expand All options for Workflow Template Editor

    Writing at the time of the new Workflow Template Update (2021.05.17):

    The new system for editing templates is much more compact than the previous system and it could really benefit from a way to collapse all of the tasks or steps rather than clicking them all individually. Our office works with some very long workflows and it would help with scrolling and finding the steps/tasks we'd like to edit.

  4. Add time stamped notes inside the workflow

    I would like the ability to add time stamped notes to workflows. We often have tasks that take several try's to complete such as a phone calls to a client to get answers to questions. I would like to be able to see the noted attempts of calls to the clients with a date and time inside the workflow step or task.

  5. Show Workflows and Activities in the Client's Note Section

    Open (and competed) Activities and Workflows should appear in the Notes section of the client's Redtail, rather than only being able to view activities once completed and having to scroll all the way to the bottom to view active workflows.
    We can have the option to filter out the feed, as necessary.

  6. Have "Owner" of a Workflow also be the "Assignee" of all Workflow Tasks

    If I am creating a workflow, I can assign the "Owner" of the workflow to a specific user, but there is no way for me to assign the underlying Tasks to that specific user unless I go into each task individually.

    There should be an option within the workflow template to initially assign each task to the workflow owner. This way, I can start a workflow, make a specific user the Owner, then all tasks will be assigned to that owner.

  7. Search Notes by linked account number

    Redtail allows multiple account numbers in Notes' account number field. It would be useful to be able to use that linked field when using the Search box when in a contact's notes view. Right now that Notes search function only looks in the note's text field. It would improve functionality and usefulness if the Notes search box also looked in the linked account field.

  8. Trigger for more fields for Automation Templates

    Need to expand the options for triggers to include more than one field. We want to be able to trigger if all conditions are true but it only allows for one trigger event. We need to allow for more then one trigger event. For example, if the category changes and status changes then it triggers.

  9. Show whose database you're in..

    Please add a feature that shows you which database you are in.

    i.e. have the advisor's name on the top of the page to the right of the search contacts bar.

    For those of us who need to switch back and forth a lot it's easy to forget which advisor's database you are in. Also if you could make it simpler to switch databases (like a one click switch instead of 3 clicks) that would also be much appreciated!

  10. Have Household Keywords

    I'd love to be able to have keywords that are applied to the household as a whole, not just the individual person. We use monthly keywords for our review months, and keep husband/wife the same. Right now, we have to add that keyword to both people, and then update on both if we need to change it. I'd love to have an option for household keywords, that automatically assigns that same keyword to all parties in the household (kids, etc...)

  11. Activity Notes Linked to Account

    For activities that are linked to an account, it would be nice if the notes that are entered in that activity are automatically linked to that account. I have to enter the note and then go back and link it to the account after.

  12. Workflow Reports to include more detail such as complete workflows and outcome info.

    The Workflow Report shows the current step. The workflow task report shows the current step and task but not the user/team/role assigned. You also can't see any completed info on the workflow task report. If you are managing an office and trying to review where multiple employees are on all of their workflows including what outcomes they've selected for certain steps, you have to go to each individual workflow and run the timeline report in order to see the outcome itself.   13. important information should be displayed in a banner across the top of client page

    i.e. we have a client who is suspicious of the internet and does not want his information in any emails. We frequently communicate with clients that way so we really need a big red warning "DON"T EMAIL" right under his name

  14. Copy Roles selection to the Spouse in a new contact

    Now that you can select Roles in the Contact Add Screen, could the system copy those Roles to the spouses record, if they are also setup in the same screen? I noticed that Permissions copy over, but the Roles did not.

  15. Should be able to notify more than just one user when imputing a new note

    When adding a note, you can only notify one user about that note. Should be able to notify multiple users.

  16. Switching Family Head

    When switching a family head of household all contact information should remain on both profiles. Currently the information remains with the former head of household and we have to key in all the information to the new head of house hold.

  18. Allow Default Setting for Past Due Activities/Workflow Items

    Please allow a default setting to view all current and past due items. Having to manually find past due items really defeats the point of having assigned items to begin with. Thanks!

  19. trusted contact

    I know others have suggested/requested adding a Trusted Contact field. Let me share how this would make my life easier:

    We use LaserApp to complete our forms for TD Ameritrade. I have to then go back and add the Trusted Contact information to each application manually. This takes time and allows room for error.

    I know you don't just "snap your fingers" and have it done, but I hope this request is at the top of the wish list. Thank you for all you do to help us manage so much data. Your work is appreciated.

  20. 'Complete' Client Reviews

    For an industry that is very much reliant on keeping track of bare min YEARLY client reviews, this section needs a better tech focus. I would at least appreciate if the "Client Review" reminders could be 'completed' just like an activity.
