Sticky Notes to add to client file
Be able to add a "post-it-like" note to a client file so it stands out instantly. This could serve as a reminder to give them something next time they are in the office, or ask them about such and such....
I don't want to sift through client notes, or use a pinned note- this doesn't stand out enough.

newest update - can't view contact names while looking at calendar unless you hover over "2 Contacts"
The newest update for July 2024 changed how you view and print the calendar. We want to be able to look at quick glance who is scheduled for an appointment. We also print a calendar daily and now have to manually type the clients names to be able to view who the appointment is with. Please change back or allow users to choose how they want to view the calendar.

Set up an automation so that that a message is automatically sent to clients on their birthday and on their anniversary
send out an automatic birthday wish to each client on their birthday? I would like it to go automatically to the client on their birthday

save activity
When posting a note or activity it would be helpful to have a save button near the text box so I don't have to scroll down to bottom of page to save.

important information should be displayed in a banner across the top of client page
i.e. we have a client who is suspicious of the internet and does not want his information in any emails. We frequently communicate with clients that way so we really need a big red warning "DON"T EMAIL" right under his name

Set Roles when Creating new Contact
When adding a new contact, we can set the permissions (which is a great addition, thank you!) but you can't set the roles without going into the contact page. It would be useful to be able to set the roles there in the create screen because we have workflows that automate when a new contact is added. Right now they default to one person, because if the workflow automates and the roles aren't set, it assigns to no one. Color Options in NOTES
I would like to see color options for alpha and numeric for Notes so besides being BOLD the line or word could also be a certain color like you can to din Word and Excel.

Zendesk
I hire Redtail as my CRM vendor. Redtail outsources the helpdesk ticket system. Very odd that a vendor that embraces seamless integration requires me to have yet another username and password to follow their tickets. Especially when Redtail offers single sign on for other outside vendors. Please integrate.

Opportunity Tracker: Bulk Actions
It would be a great feature to be able to select multiple opportunities via a checkbox next to the open opportunity and then select a Bulk Action after you've selected. Imagine having 21 open opportunities that are all named "schedule appointment". You could select all 21 and select a bulk action email report. Or at least open the feature to select multiple opportunities and then be able to "send to search". Then from the search report be able to select the contact records you'd like in your Bulk Action. I think this feature for opportunities would be a fantastic idea.…

account udf bulk add
I track RMDs for clients on an account level and a contact level and I have to manually add each account level UDF every January. This should be accomplished by a bulk add. And of course to do that it means that we will need an advanced search for the account level as well as contact level (So I can search for open IRAs and get open IRAs instead of closed IRAs and open something else) which is how the current advanced search works.

membership automatic set up
It would be nice if some of the membership relationships could be set up automatically when the membership is intuitive. Maybe an option or check box that says, "would you like to automatically add this relationship to: bob brewer, jenny jones and michelle miller". Lets say steve brewer, bob , jenny and michelle are all brothers and sisters; kate brewer is steve's wife . I add mike brewer as steve's father. It would be nice if redtail could figure out that mike is also bob, jenny and michelle's father as well as kate's father-in-law. This issue gets compounded when you…

Be able to Assign colors on the Calendar by Name of the person completing task
Color code the calendar by being able to assign a color to each person in the office. That way when you are looking at the calendar each person has their own color for their own task

Ability to Re-Organize Menu
It would be great to be able to re-organize the menu list on the left side. Especially when we are in a contact to be able to organize them by our most used tabs would be convenient.

Link existing document to an activity or note.
We can currently link a document from our computer to an activity or note and it gets uploaded to Documents on CRM. It would be great if we can link a document ALREADY in the CRM to an activity or note without duplicating it on the CRM.

Ability for team members to see when someone is working on a task
When a task is assigned to a team, it would be very nice for all users on that team to be able to see when a task is being worked on by another team member. This way 2 team members do not both work on the task simultaneously

activity from email, email from activity
Users need to be able to easily create an activity from a client/vendor email.
Typical day - we will receive dozens of emails with requests for appointments, meetings, cash, service, change forms, along with many other requests.
Why not make it easier to click two or three buttons to create an activity from an email, add a quick note and assign to a staff member with deadline and priority.
Also - while on the subject, make it easier to create an email from an activity too.

workflow tasks on calendar
Workflow tasks on RT calendar should clearly state the client's name on the calendar entry so that advisor knows which client the task is pertaining to.
