CPS Investment Advisors services external Co-advisor firms, culminating in our establishment of a primary home Redtail database along with 24 supplementary Redtail databases. While with Orion we have a single unified database, Redtail specifically suggested the deployment of distinct databases as the only way to partition clients. Client task bar
What would really be helpful is an open task bar on each contact. It would be a bar or section on the side that you could add editable ongoing notes about what is going on with this client. Things and info that you need right away. For example: Do not text this client - always call, remember this for our next meeting, these are things we are working on or toward, We are doing this on this account, etc. Things that are already in their notes, but quick and easy to see and can be changed as you go forward.…

Workflows Page - the Filter and Complete Buttons
When I am on the Workflow page, and I filter for workflows assigned to me there are some wonky outcomes. Two in particular.
1.If I select say three workflows by clicking the box next to the workflow and then hit "Complete" button. The workflows "DO NOT GET COMPLETED"
- If I take action on this screen and want to go back to the screen to see my other workflows - I need to start the entire screening process all over again.
I would like to see the same filtered results as opposed having to start over every single I try to…

Workflow
We need workflow functionality added to the Redtail app. When we are prospecting and not by our computers, we should be able to add a prospect to a workflow from an existing template.
This will reduce redundancy of efforts, eliminate unnecessary communication updating coworkers on what we've done, improve correctness in timestamping events, and ensuring tasks get complete.

Add Contact History Tab to Client Profiles
It would be beneficial to have a section on a client's profile where we can record our contacts/attempted contacts with them. I see that there is an "Email history" tab, but this would be for both attempted email and phone correspondence. While this information could be recorded in the "Notes" section, we would prefer to keep that space reserved for things like client meeting notes, summaries of client conversations, etc.

Thinner "regular" text to differentiate bold text
I think we should make the text in descriptions for workflows a little thinner, so it's easier to differentiate BOLD and unbolded text. In the regular description boxes, activities and notes, it is easy to differentiate, but in workflows, it's a little harder to differentiate what is bolded and what is NOT bolded.

Calendar view - Allow to view calendar by week, month, etc. that is not in list form. but in calendar form. Similar to google calendar.

Task/ Activity Check Box
On the calendar screen with all of your tasks/activities... each task/activity should have a small check box in a corner, so that you can select multiple tasks/activities at once for drag and drop, delete, re-assign, and re-schedule...the current method is very buried and not time efficient.

Activity/ Task Lock
Only allow the person that completed a task to unlock and edit the activity. Along with a time stamp

Family Split Option
If a family unit splits off - child as an adult - or divorce ... easily split off clients onto there own family unit.

Securian Financial - Minnesota Life Insurance Applications
Please create an integration between Red Tail and Securian Financials' Minnesota Life E-Application iPipeline system so that clients basic information is auto populated. Thank you!

Copy Account Feature
It would be great if we could have a feature to copy an account. When setting up multiple accounts for the same person, if there was a copy feature, it would save a lot of time with not having to input all the same information multiple times (i.e. beneficiaries, open date, etc.). We could just copy and then change account number and type

Allow phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses to be re-arranged.
Allow users to re-arrange addresses, phone numbers, & email addresses.
I understand this idea is already out there, but here it is again, with a possible fix... Make it so that we can "Click & Drag" to re-arrange the list. Right now, it just lines them up as they are entered.3 votes -
Activities By Contact-Search By Who Added Activity
When running the "Activities By Contact" report, it would be nice to have a filter option that allows us to filter by the user who added the activity. We have several team members, and it would be nice to be able to look up all of the activities a specific user added to Redtail.

Primary Financial Rep - from Redtail to AW
It would be beneficial to be able to automatically designate who the financial representative is on an account when sending to AdviceWorks. For example, I am an assistant, so would not want any contacts under my rep code by accident. When I send clients to AdviceWorks it populates my rep code in for them as default. I would like it to automatically fill in the Financial Professionals Rep code instead of mine so that no errors are made.

Ability to Print Notes by Contact that shows the Comments
We use Comments on notes a lot, we have a rule of same day/same topic but there is important information being added under Comments. We are going to be told that we can no longer use Comments since they will not print out on Notes by Contact Report. They also do not print out when you click on Notes in a clients RT record and choose the category of note you want to print. This would be a very useful feature to be able to export out to PDF and have the comments show as well. The only option currently…

In Office Chat Box
I would love if Red Tail had the ability to allow chat sessions between our in-office contacts. If our admin was able add co-workers into a chat or messenger style system for everyone in the office to communicate about tasks and activities within redtail.

Being able to add a name of a dependent or parent without having to create a contact record.
Being able to add a name of a dependent or parent without having to create a contact record. Sometimes just want to know their name, not clog up the amount of contact records i have that are not beneficial to my business.

Things to do today- All Day Only
Only display all day activities in the Things to do today section. I can see time specific items on the calendar.

Please make the comments on Notes more visible!
Instead of displaying "Comments (1)" and then having to click to view more, it would be nice to have all the comments on notes visible/auto expanded.
