Change the default font to differentiate an uppercase I with a lowercase l. See the problem? IlIl...
The default font for the Redtail system has the same symbol for an uppercase I that it has for a lower case l. See the problem? IlIl those are two different letters alternating and yet one would NEVER KNOW. This has caused mailing issues when someone references the address to handwrite it on a birthday card. This should be fixed for everyone ASAP.

Redtail Speak area codes
I was excited to get set up and use Redtail Speak for compliant client texting, but I was really disappointed when my area code (210) was not available for Redtail Speak. Please keep adding area codes for Redtail Speak... with a special request for area code 210.

Add a "most used" to sort team members to task a new activity
When tasking, team members are sorted alphabetically, it would be nice to have the option to have the person/ people you task most frequently listed at the top.

Opportunity Filter Settings Dropdown So that "Me" is the First Option
When you click on the drop down feature in Calendar view, in the drop down menu the top choice is for "me". Opportunities should have the same feature. 99.99% of the time I am working with "Opportunities" I am filtering for my own results and I have to scroll down the long list of names to find mine.

Sorting UDF's
Sorting in UDF's. Currently impossible to sort with numbers in the prefix of UDF name. 10 Comes before 2 in the list. Appears to only be looking at the first digit, not the string of digits.

Link Beneficiary to Contact Record
It would be awesome if beneficiaries could link to existing contact records, as well as giving an option to create a contact record (similar to updating Ownership in Accounts). This would help us have a more comprehensive and cohesive CRM!

ability to edit notes
We would like to be able to edit notes once saved. We regularly have to leave for a meeting and save them when not complete so nothing happens to them. Since we cannot edit we must copy and paste and then delete. This is time consuming and frustrating.

ADD PERMANENT/HARD-CODED FIELDS DEDICATED FOR CLIENTS' INSURANCE INFORMATION
We need Red Tail to ADD hard-coded fields for the following clients' insurance information:
Insurance Carrier
Type of Insurance
Face Value/Face Amount/Death Benefit
Premium Frequency
Premium Amount/Modal Premium
Insurance Issue Date
Owner, Joint Owner, Insured 1, Insured 2
An additional "Insurance" box in the "Financials" section of the Contact Page in RT would be an appropriate place for these fields.
An Ability for this additional insurance section to be dynamic would be preferred, meaning that an ability to add multiple policies would be great.1 vote -

SHOW MINI CALENDAR POP UP FOR SCHEDULING CONFLICTS
When a scheduling conflict arises in RedTail, a red notice appears at the bottom of the screen, but offers no alternative open time slots to use. When creating an activity/task/appointment/follow-up, for oneself and/or someone else, there is an issue with finding alternative open time slots when time conflicts arise. Our suggestion is to have a small pop up mini-calendar window showing open time slots to schedule activities for oneself and also on someone else's calendar.

Sort clients by distance
I wish there was a way to be able to sort my clients by distance from an address or zip code. For example, if I wanted to send an invite to a seminar to local clients, I could run a report that will show all my clients within a specific radius. I feel this feature would save a lot of time as well as have many other useful applications.

Referral Tree
Presently, there is no way to create a referral tree, or to pull a report of contacts who have referred others.
EX: If Amy refers Dave, I can enter Amy's name (as text, not as a link to her profile) on Dave's profile as a 'Referred by', and I can pull a report that will give me 'Referred by' and 'Source' (which would pull Dave's records), but I can't pull a report that will pull Amy's information.The ultimate goal is to pull a report to see which contacts referred other prospects/clients in the past year, because we…

"Date Updated" to Templates
Add a "Date Updated" column in addition to the existing "Date Added" so we know the last time an update was made to the templates, especially the "Activity Templates". I've been going in and updating all our templates. Currently, the "Date Added" is only referring to the initial creation. It's helpful to see when the last time it was updated.

Create RMD report using user defined fields
I need to use my client database to create an list of RMD clients using a) age greater than 73, b) User defined fields of IRA - yes, c) Auto RMD - No, Spousal IRA - yes, Spousal Auto RMD - no, etc.

Disable External User - Admin Rights
Currently when you add external users from another database, their Admin rights follow to the guest database. The guest database should be able to block admin rights to their own database.

Report by Activity Template or Search by Activity Template
Under Reports > Activity Reports, add the following option: Activities by Templates. This way one can easily find all the activities they've created from specific templates.
OR
Under Advanced Search, Add Type = Activity > Field = Activity Template Name, and value = all the templates we've created. We'd select a template and all the activities would display for that specific template.3 votes -
Advanced Search - Tiered Feature - Multiple Functions Under Specific Sets
The implication is that we can set a search criteria including "AND" & "OR" functions, then set multiple "OR" searches (w/ their own "AND" functions) that is specific to that search set. This would alleviate the process of re-creating multiple identical searches with just the end function being the one distinctive difference. This will also help to mitigate errors when creating highly manicured Advanced Searches.
Also, functions beyond just "AND & "OR" would be nice.

Allow checkboxes within Activities
It would be great if we could have checkboxes within Activities to check off steps as they are completed. For example, Evernote's shortcut is [].
