  1. Account Layout Page

    It would be great if we could change the layout of different tabs. The accounts Tab is where we house our clients values. We would like to to be able move certain elements to the top of a page and push others down. It would eliminate scrolling from top to bottom so we can just focus in on the Basic and General info elements.

  2. talk to text feature

    In the notes we would like a feature where we can talk to text into the notes so we do not have to type up notes each time. Also if you could integrate Windows Copilot into Redtail that would be nice.

  3. Add attachments to Activity Templates so blank attachements can be used regularly

    Currently, there is no way to add template documents that would be used for repeated activities to those activity templates. Please allow the feature to add attachments of documents we would regularly use for our activity templates.

  4. Automation Email Alerts should show the Linked Contact

    Automations are very limited. To get around this, most of our automations are set to "email user." These emails don't include the Linked Contact for the activity that triggered it. There is way too much manual work to go find the trigger activity, when it's clearly attached to a contact and that contact should appear in the email alert!

  5. "Beta" Workflow Stage

    There are only "Under Construction," "Active," and "Inactive." It would be great to have a "Beta" stage for workflows that are in a testing stage - maybe even with the ability to only allow specific users or teams the ability to use the workflow.

    Right now our firm is putting "Beta" in the title, but there is no way to search and organize RedTail WF templates by this status and it just looks and feels clunky.

  6. Display "name on account" under the "add bank" section of client accounts

    When adding a bank account to a client record, there is no field to enter the specific name on the account - it is assumed that the client name matches the name on the bank account. This is not always the case.

    Having an additional field here would be beneficial for confirmation and to avoid potential issues with the bank.

    Filters should have more fields than are currently available. For example, I would like "Opportunity Type" to be a field that is a filter, so that I can sort between institutional, private client, and referral partners.

  8. account name

    When linking an account to a note, account, or document only the account number and type shows up. Useless! Multiple accounts are present and we need to identify the one or more that we want to link. If 2 contacts are selected and each contact has an IRA and a Roth IRA along with a NQ account or 2 we have no idea which are which. Accounts should also include the title of the account, not just the acct # and custodian

  9. linking accounts

    I know there are a couple of other of these out there but they've been dormant for some 4 to 5+ years..... Is there a reason why we have to link accounts individually to an activity instead of being able to select multiple accounts? Some screens we can select multiple options, other have to be done individually! This should be a no-brainer! Cmon Redtail, let's get moving on some of the old, ignored suggestions!!!!

  11. Organize workflows on the today page with the current task first

    Similar to how the activities section is organized. Have the current task on the left side so it's easier to see what needs to be completed.

  12. Opportunity Templates

    It would be really helpful to have Opportunity Templates that can be linked to specific workflows and that allow us to set up percentages for commission structures. For example, we frequently do annuity applications for a specific product company - if we could set up an opportunity template that included a templated commission percentage and automatically kicked off linked workflow template for the paperwork, that would make the opportunities section a lot more useful and would drive advisors to be more proactive about finishing paperwork because they can see a visual representation of how much money is on the table…

  13. Need 2 new custom report criteria parameters

    Need two new search criteria/parameters added:

    1. When running reports in Redtail, we think it would be a nice feature to have if we could define report parameters to include people with certain zip codes (or mile radius from a certain zip code), - for example, we wanted to recently invite only clients within a 75 mile radius of our office to an in-person client appreciation event. We were having a hard time finding a way to build a report off of those specifications and thus create a tag group of clients who live within a certain mile radius of our…

  14. Filter Emails for only Redtail contacts in suite sync for Outlook

    Using suite sync under emails & synced emails it imports ALL emails that are in Outlook. While it does a great job linking to individual contact records for emails, it would be great to be able to filter all emails to show only those emails that have been linked to my Redtail CRM rather than just duplicating all emails I already see in Outlook. It would be much easier to see these in one place at a glance to see what emails are related to my CRM

    This relates to the "Permissions" idea that has 143 votes as of now. There should be a default or permission of "all" for attendees on creating an activity/appointment/task. My assistant sets appointments and items for me on our calendars and I want both our calendars to look identical. Each time we set something on the calendar we have to manually check the attendees dropdown to ALL. If one of us forgets to select all, the default is to the current user and just shows up on that user's calendar. That causes issues. My assistant is new and still learning, and…

    Is there a way to highlight the actual day in Dark Mode like you do in light mode? Can it be grey or lighter?

    Either have a pop-up window, email or text notifying the user of an upcoming Activity 30 minutes (should be customizable) prior to the scheduled time. The "bell" notification isn't very helpful and I often have my computer speaker turned off so I've never hear the dog bark. Also I'm not always at my computer but I do get email/texts on my phone.

  20. Rep chat comments

    Currently, the rep chat info goes into the notes section. When looking for notes, you have to scroll through and it's cumbersome at times because some clients text all the time. Is there a way to have another section for that or distinguish rep chat vs true notes??
