Notes/Activities Should Inherit Permissions of Contact
Currently, if you create a note or activity within a contact record, that note or activity is not permissioned by default.
While permissions can be set for the contact record itself, so that others are not able to view the notes and activities inside the record, there is still a way for the entire database to see it.
On the dashboard, it will show you all notes within the lat 7 days CRM-wide and all unfinished activities. These notes and activities include the contact name that is tagged to it and could potentially contain other confidentail info.

Have a more robust contact card for businesses that shows details of the actual contact.
For the clients that have a business and personal account with us, we want to be able to see the name of the actual contact listed under the business name. We also want to be able to link the accounts together so when pulling a report you see all account information for everything personally and professionally that that person manages.

Suite Sync Email Sync
Suite Sync: Synced Emails: Make these viewable by all users rather than just the user who directly generated or was copied on it. It's important to have historical emails available to staff and other advisors on the team.

Primary/Lead and Secondary/Assist "assigned to" options for Activities
I would like to be able to have a Primary and Secondary label for the "assigned to" individuals. We often have tasks assigned to two people and sometimes we duplicate efforts. It would be helpful if the creator of the activity could assign who he wants to take the lead as Primary or Lead. Alternatively, if I have an activity with two people assigned but the second is just there as an FYI, it would be great if I could say I'm taking the lead so the other person knows not to work the activity.

Business Clients - additional info needed.
Business Clients need to have a field to list the "Owners".
We have many that offer Simple IRA's that we use Keywords to pull reports, but it would be great to have a field on the contact card that allows this information at a glance.

Confetti Feature When Completing a Task
I NEED NEED NEED confetti to go across my screen when I complete a task. I would enjoy Redtail so much more. I've seen this easy-to-add software used on Canvas before!

A calender invite that will trigger a workflow and invite the client to the meeting
I am inviting a client to a meeting who is in retail. I want to populate the invite in my activities, have it linked to a workflow for the meeting, and be able to send them a calendar invite, the way you can inside of Google Calendar. I don't want to have to create a separate workflow for the meeting, nor do i want to leave retail and update a meeting that has linked to google calendars and add an attendee. I want one app that acts as my hub for contact management, task, workflow, calendar and communications.

On workflows, once a step is complete, have the tasks associated with the next step automatically update to a due date of when the previous step is completed or when that next step becomes active. For example, Step 1 started on 3/25/2024, Step 1 completed on 4/1/2024, Step 2 becomes active 4/1/2024, tasks associated with Step 2 have a due date of 4/1/2024.

Combine accounts with multiple funds
The ability to combine multiple funds under one main account number. For example a 529 linked with LPL comes over as each individual fund position. Would be great to link all the funds under one main account number so there aren't so many funds listed individually in the accounts tab. Would make it more streamlined.

"Are You Sure?" prompt when hitting "cancel" after adding a note.
Can we add an "Are You Sure?" prompt when hitting "Cancel" after adding a note?
The "Save Note" button is very close to cancel and would be useful in the numerous cases when I go too fast and hit "Cancel" instead of "Save Note".

Add a "TOP" button when scrolling down on pages
Add a "TOP" button when scrolling down on pages such as notes, activities, etc. where we can easily click one button to return to the top of the page vs scrolling back up to be able to move away from that page. OR freeze the side bar menu so we don't have to scroll up and can just click the page we want to go to.

Notifying Colleagues
I believe we are able to tag/notify other colleagues via the activity tab, but our team primarily communicates and documents via the notes tab. For example, my colleague and I were both working on a task together. If would be nice to tag her somehow to let her know about an update I've made or a note I have shared. Other than this, she would have to constantly check for new notes.

Allow to complete multiple workflow tasks on Today page without refreshing the screen every time.
When viewing Today page, when I click "complete" next to a workflow to complete the current step, I have to refresh the entire page before I can click on complete again for that workflow or the next. It didn't use to be this way.

Life Partner
When adding a life partner to a record, we need to have the link to show up to their record; not just a family name. It needs to look and functionality needs to be the same as the spouse.

Automation based on Activity Name
We have an integration with Calendly so meetings created there show up in Redtail. I would like to setup an automation that would change the Activity Category based on specific word(s) in the Activity Title. For example, a Calendly meeting that comes in with the title: "Presentation for Client Name" would have the Activity Category = Presentation. I would set the automation rule to "Activity Title" [contains] "Presentation", then "Activity Category" = "Presentation"

Ability to add more than two people as account owners
When assigning ownership of an account to a contact, you can currently only assign two owners. I have several accounts with 3 or more owners, so the ability to add more would be nice.

Search Engine (Search Anything, Universal Search, Full Database Search)
Redtail is missing a search anything option (full database search) similar to a search engine capability like Google. For example, if a user recalls something like a name, note, or something else they entered into a contact but doesn't recall what field this is in, they should be able to do a database search for that information. Lacking this functionality creates unnecessary work for your customers, and most of your competitors offer this.

Recurring/Repeat Activities
I see a strong need for REPEAT activities to be changed, even though this might seem like a small idea it could possibly be very beneficial to many Redtail users. As an example, when I want to add an activity that will repeat in October on the second Wednesday of the month, it is impossible. I can only add an activity that will be repeated on the same date, next year. Please add the option to schedule on the first through the last of the month (Weekly), Monday through Sunday (Possibly Multiple Days like the option that is already implemented…

Disable Integrations
Admins should be able to disable integrations for users. (So users cannot connect random integrations and pull in a bunch of junk info.)
