  1. Searchable activities on Dashboard/Today's Overview

    It would be good to be able to search Activities on Dashboard or Today's Overview to find particular activities for multiple clients (such as spouses or employees of the same company).

  2. Activities / Workflows repeating on month, quarter, period end

    Need to have workflows and activities that can repeat frequency on month end, quarter end or a designated period end - i.e. this activity is to tie to the last day of each month - since the last day is either the 30th or 31st - not all months have the same ending date, so the way RedTail is set up today this is not able to be created - the fix is to have the activity repeat the 1st of each month, but that is confusing to our people

  3. Month view on the calendar, would be great if the month view defaulted using the current week.

    When choosing month view have the calendar default to the current week so in the middle to end of the month you do not have to scroll through the current week is always the default.

    it would be great if we could preview documents before we open them...maybe something similar to our computer windows explorer...

  5. Activity report based on date activity was created

    We would like to create an activity report based on the date the activity was created as opposed to the date of the actual activity. We would like to use this report in order to double check all the activities that were created each day and be able to look at a daily report of all activities added.

  6. Syncing between Quicklists and Tag Groups

    Is there any way to sync a quicklist to a tag group? As more and more 3rd parties are using Tag groups, if our tag groups are not manually updated, they become obsolete. As the criteria in a quicklist may change and drop a client or add a client, a tag group must be manually changed. We are a larger firm and some clients may be missed. Is there anyway a syncing feature could be added? It would be most helpful.

  7. Renewal Calendar Reminder

    I am in the health insurance business, and we have renewal dates for the health policies. The account platform is great to put the account information, carrier, product type, and renewal date in. The only issue I have with this is when you put the renewal date in, it doesn't populate a reminder in the calendar. I was wondering if this feature could be added. Right now I have to run a report with the renewal dates, and then add them to the calendar as recurring activities. This leaves a lot of room for human error. This added feature would…

    Redtail has read this suggestion and there is some internal discussion needed in order to determine next steps. This suggestion is remaining open and can continue to gather votes and comments!

  8. License Type Database List

    The license type database list is incomplete. While adding licenses for advisors, I was unable to add Series 1, Series 22, Series 31, and Series 53. I submitted a ticket to support technology but I was told that this feature is unavailable, and they suggested that I post it as a suggestion.

  9. Phoning List

    It would be really nice to have a feature just for calling clients. It would be a list of prospects or clients you are trying to make appointments with. It would allow you to click reached or not reached. It would also allow you to click "appointment made", bringing you to your calendar to schedule a good time to meet. It would also have a notes section so you can keep track if you left a message or not OR to leave information talked about during the phone call.   11. Default Calendar view

    Be able to set Default User(s) Calendar. Currently everyone can see everyone's and you have to select that every time. Please make this automated feature available.

  12. Add autocomplete for email addresses to CC emails sent from within the CRM

    the To: field autocompletes based on contacts in the database but the CC field requires you to manually enter each email address. It would be nice if this autocompleted too.

  13. Email Notification (Activity Assigned)

    I like receiving team notification emails, however when I received activity that is not assigned to me the email reads "You have been assigned a new activity". Please bring back the email notifications the way they were in the OLD REDTAIL CRM. For instance, the person who created the activity/note name is in the FROM, and the Subject reads, "New Activity Team Notification" (not assigned to me) or "New Activity Assigned To You (assigned to me).   15. Need to see new comments to older notes on Todays Overview

    For compliance tracking, we need to be able to see any new comments to older notes on Today's Overview and related note reports. We currently have to add a new note for each step of a single process to ensure proper tracking.

  16. If changes, updates or additions to Activities and Notes could automatically save, or at least ask if you want to save before you move away

    If changes, updates or additions to Activities and Notes could automatically save, or at least a prompt if you want to save before you move away. Things can get moving very fast at administrative desks, and entering a note while the phone is ringing, or updating an activity while being given other instructions are not rare occurrences, and not having an update to an appointment or note of a transaction stick can cause major malfunctions for office operations.   17. Entering and updating Seminar/Event Attendees

    1. "Attendees" should be "Invites" or Guests", as "Attendees" implies they are attending.

    2. When entering Attendee information, please add the option to add guests in same box we are entering "Attendee". (Thereby avoiding the need to enter the Attendee, save it, then scroll through to find them in the list to then add Guests. (this is silly)

    3. Also, and very important, PLEASE fix the count so that we can see # of confirmations (attending); # of guests; and # of declines. Currently, the count of "Attendees" is every single response which serves no purpose at all.

  19. Report on Assets in a Security

    It would be helpful if we could pull a simple report that shows the dollar value of assets held within each security on an overall basis:
    I.E. of our total AUM there is $557,000 in FFRHX

  20. Please add client picture to the Personal Profile Form

    It would be quite helpful if I could print a report that had basic information for a client and family, along with pictures of each. As my client book grows, it's important that I stay close and personal to clients. If I had a report with names of a family, pictures, and maybe even personal likes and interests, that would give me GREAT information for the start of a meeting, which we like to keep on the personal side rather than on the business side of talking points.
