  2. Turn off certain feilds in Contacts account

    Having the ability to turn off certain fields/criteria on contacts account that aren't being used. More visibly appealing and easier to decipher.

  3. licenses

    In the Licenses tab, it would be helpful for the list to start out in alphabetical order. I think it defaults to when the record was added, which isn't very useful in practice. We use this tab to list all rep codes and license numbers for each of our advisors.

    I know we can click on the Company header to sort alphabetical, but having this as the default would be nice!

  4. copy note

    When I copy a note from one contact to another (ie - from husband to wife), the date copied should be the date of the original note. It's currently set up to date stamp as today's date. So if I'm copying notes from over the last year from husband to wife, everything is showing up on the wife's page with today's date, which isn't helpful.

    Add customizable dashboard. We need to create layouts/forms with user-defined fields organized differently for administrative staff and advisors. Our former ACT! CRM provided this ability. The Redtail dashboard tends to "scratch where it doesn't itch" for our needs.

  7. Install a pop up option

    Install a pop up option that can be placed to pop up upon look up of client before going further. with a brief message pertaining to account.
    example- Jane Doe does not want an email to be sent to Husbands work for the next appt. Upon look up of Jane Doe this message pops up and we can remove it or keep it and carry on....

  8. Complete & stop recurring activity, not JUST delete

    Add ability to complete AND stop future recurring instances for an activity. By only having the choice to delete an instance now deletes all past activities for records & compliance.

  9. Customizable Landing Page

    We are requesting the ability to create and modify a custom landing page in Redtail. There are a number of fields we'd like to view on one screen prior to meeting, and while meeting, with clients. A few of the fields we'd like to see at once are as follows:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Phone/Email
    • DOB (age)
    • Children’s names
    • Accountant
    • Attorney
    • Insurance Agent
    • Stand-by- YES/NO
    • Review Date
    • Account Types
    • Account Model
    • Latest Tax Return on file

  10. BCC email archive for client email history

    Redtail should capture emails sent 'BCC' from Outlook in the client email history. Currently, it only captures for the archive if it is sent in the 'To' box. But to protect client emails we use the BCC feature. We have migrated to sending blast emails this way because of the lack of functionality in the Broadcast Emails.

  12. Have Opportunity Revenue Categorized for Calendar Year

    Currently closed revenue is cumulative and doesn't show current year. We would like to be categorize for current year revenue.

    Please add a function to Filter Activities by Category on the activities dashboard. Currently, we can only filter from Calendar view.

  15. Review Reminder Date Rollover

    Have the Client Review Reminder - The First Review Date Set Up To Automatically Roll With The Next Review Date For People Using Quicklists. Right Now, We Are Manually Moving The First Review Date So That Our QuickLists/Broadcast Emails Will Synch Together. This IS VERY Inefficient.

  16. Please make it possible again to view the entire contents of ALL of the notes, not just the older ones. This is very problematic for us.

    With the change to the notes, we have had top copy and print them to be able to follow a thread of conversation. It is very time-consuming and counter productive.

  17. Color Options in NOTES

    I would like to see color options for alpha and numeric for Notes so besides being BOLD the line or word could also be a certain color like you can to din Word and Excel.

  18. Collapse/Expand All options for Workflow Template Editor

    Writing at the time of the new Workflow Template Update (2021.05.17):

    The new system for editing templates is much more compact than the previous system and it could really benefit from a way to collapse all of the tasks or steps rather than clicking them all individually. Our office works with some very long workflows and it would help with scrolling and finding the steps/tasks we'd like to edit.

  19. Printable Overview of Workflow Templates

    I am writing this at the time of the new workflow template editor update (2021.05.17). The old template editor is what I would use to get screenshots of workflows to print off and discuss in a meeting with our team. I would use screenshots of the outcomes list and the template (because it showed the full text in the task descriptions in an organized format) to compile a document we could cut apart, rearrange, and discuss if the workflow accurately guided process.   20. Change category type of multiple documents at once

    It would save us a lot of time if we could edit the category type of multiple documents at once, instead of having to click through for each document. For example, when uploading several different estate documents for a client, it would be better to just have to click all the documents then change the category for all at once instead of changing the category for each individual document.
