closed accounts default status
Closed accounts should default to not being included in account graphs (accounts tab), reports, or any other search as they are, by definition, closed and no longer relevant. Perhaps add an option to manually include closed accounts if information is needed but they shouldn't be showing up by default.

emotional status of interactions
I'd like to be able to quickly and easily be prompted to indicated the client's perceived emotional state in the notes section during the interaction (example: dealing with a death/sad, moving/excited, submitting a complaint/angry or frustrated) of how a meeting/interaction/exchange went. Also, a separate field for "satisfied with services" and "dissatisfied with services" selection in notes per client interaction. I'd like to be able to run reports on this data for customer service improvement goals.

Private Activity Indicator
If an activity is private from the creator's point of view, include a special private activity icon, similar to Outlook.

Confetti when workflows are completed
A fun suggestion that my office and I had was when someone completed a workflow a little confetti burst came across the screen after you clicked the complete button. It always feels so good to complete a task/workflow that we thought having some confetti fly across the screen would be really fun.

UDF Value Appearance
When we're typing in the UDF sections; whether in contacts or accounts, it would be great if the breaks we enter would correspond with what is shown after the UDF is saved.
For instance, I use account UDF's to track RMD's. So mine might look like this:
2017 RMD amount for account = $***.xx
2017 RMDs total = $xxxx.xx
Total 2017 Distributions = $xxxx.xx
However, when I save and close the UDF, it doesn't read the same on the screen. The page breaks basically don't exist, so the note doesn't have lines where I want them to be. It would…

udf report filter improvement
When I run a report for UDFs sometimes I want to see all values for a certain UDF, not just a specific value. I should be able to leave the bottom to boxes blank if I want.

Mail Merge Letter with an auto command for an account number
When creating a mail merge letter, have an auto command option for a client account number entry as well as name, address etc. Having to manually add account numbers to letters is very time consuming. To be able to have it merge just like a name or address would be very helpful.

Workflow Notifications- Choose when to send a notification
We have many individuals on a team in our office. It would be beneficial if sending workflow update e-mails were optional; just as they are with notes. It would be helpful to be able to select who the notifications should be sent to.

Reformat the Contact Card to Allow Cutomization
Add ability to click and drag sections to rearrange how they are positioned on the contact card (tailor to user preference); also add ability to save contact card layout template
For example: Would like to have UDF's show at the top of the page when on a contact card instead of having to scroll to the bottom and have a skinnier note section that scrolls on the right versus left.

Advanced Search
In the "advanced Search" filters, it would be most user friendly to include the ability to add parentheses around logical connectives to more intuitively command the account information. I'll give an example:
I stratify clients into tag groups A Clients, B Clients, C Clients, and D Clients. There are several without any tag group, and I'm looking for a list of current clients not in Qualified Plans status, who don't have one of these tags. The Logical operand is easiest explained as:

When adding notes to an Activity, I want a save button where the activity screen stays open so additional information can be added.

add 'Servicing Advisor' or 'Writing Advisor' to Account Level so that we can pull reports based on these two criteria..
when a new contact is entered, there is not an 'Agent' criteria to enter, we use Servicing Advisor and/or Writing Advisor....however, when 'Account' Info comes in, there is no tie between 'Agent Name' or 'Agent Number' and 'Servicing' or 'Writing' Advisor...why could we not tie agent and advisor as one or together so that we can filter or sort 'Contacts' and 'Accounts' the same way...

Allow users to select office hours or availability on the calendar.
Please come up with a way for users to add their availability to the calendar.
Some advisors and staff have consistent, but unusual hours (i.e. in the office MWF afternoons and Tuesday mornings). Others have consistently inconsistent hours. Allowing users to add their office hours/availability to the calendar would help, especially with scheduling.
Currently, activities seem to be the best option, but have to be completed or begin to clutter the activity list. My suggestion is to show availability as a vertical bar along the side of a day, color-coded by user. Entering the availability could work just like scheduling…

Why can't you provide a component of team notification that shows when you've notified a team member?
Why can't you provide a component of team notification that shows when you've notified a team member? Otherwise, how can the user know that he or she has successfully accomplished that task? The drop down should have a component where the person(s) notified are highlighted.

Streamline clicks on commonly used tasks
To look at a clients tasks used to take no clicks. Now I have to click on activities and then set a custom range to see all. Then, as soon as I sign off, I have to re-set the custom range all over each day.
It would be really helpful if you had someone with industry experience who could guide you so that the most common tasks take the least amount of clicks.
