add the ability to track accounts by creation date..for example how many accounts created for user since first of the year.

Activity Description Box - Save Description Box Extend settings
Within the Activity Description Box each time I use this section I have to use the resize triangle. I would like the settings for when I resize to remain from activity to activity and that it remembers the description box size. How can I make my resize preference permanent.

Customizing Client Reports?
I’ve been exploring the reporting features in Redtail CRM and was wondering if anyone has tips for customizing client reports. Is there a way to add more specific fields or change the layout for better readability? Any help or best practices would be appreciated!

Primary Contact - Add link to that person's record
Within the Primary Contact box, include a link to access that person's record within Redtail. For any additional information on that person now, you have to go under "Memberships" to find their record or search for their record. If the link is provided, you just click the link and it takes you directly to their record.

Today's birthdays need to actually be today's (not tomorrow's)
Today dashboard should show today's birthdays or tomorrow's (or even better both), not switch to tomorrow's at 3pm and label them today's. My advisor just called the client a day early by accident to wish him a happy birthday.

Search by last name only
We've had RedTail for some time now and the only thing I really miss from old CRM is the ability to search by last name only. When I type in a last name everything remotely the same (3 matching letters in a street name or name of a town etc..) comes up. Sometimes I am scrolling thru 60+ names or more when I know I only have 3 contacts with that same last name. And some names,( i.e.Thomas) can be first or last names but everything pulls up. Very time consuming.

Can there be a bulk action to add new employee to all speak rooms?
Instead of having to manually add them, our firm has over 800 people on speak, it is a project to get new employees added to the speak rooms.

Allow for much longer file names for attachments (i.e., PDF's, docx, etc) in CRM Notes. NONE of our files will link/attach as a result.

Activity By Contact Report - Add Column
When running a Activities by Contact report, it would be helpful to add a column for the date the activity was created. We have a number of activities where the start and end dates are changed, so being able to filter by created date would be extremely helpful.

mail merge fields
My company has been w/ RT for about 9 yrs now. Customer service/processes changed about 2 or 3 yrs ago. Our appt dates and times do not merge into our appt letters like before. This is the 3rd or so yr that we have asked for this to be resolved. But we were still being told "RT doesn't have that (merging appt date & times into our annual tax letters) ability". A website Service Ticket Widget powered by Redtail that would create a task directly into our CRM for client service issues.
I want a widget on our website that would give clients the ability to submit simple service tickets right into our Tasks workflow on Redtail. It would save a bunch of time in entering tasks and duplicating what the client emails to us and then we go and enter for our admin support.

Merge client appointment dates & times into a Word template for a mail merge
For years we were able to produce our 400+ annual tax appt letters to our clients w/o issue. However, things changed about 2 or 3 seasons ago. Not only would our appt dates and times not merge into our appt letters like before but we found something else was very wrong. Something in the programing also must have been altered. We found all of our appts to be shifted by one minute which caused choas in the schedule, reports and our appt letters. Thank goodness the "one minute off" issue was finally resolved. Advisor Team Views/Dashboards
It would be great to allow users to toggle between teams they are on. I work for an advisor duo and my permissions were originally set to just see their book of business only. Now I've been assigned to a global team which allows me to see the entire organizations book of business. I only need access to this one hour a week.
It would be nice to have the option to select which I want to view. This also is helpful in running reports as previously all my Quicklist reports didn't have to include an advisor, it was defaulted…

Make task where you can arrange them manually.
I would like to be able to arrange my task manually. Like if I want certain ones at the top I can move them there. That way my workflow is specific to how I want it to look for the day instead of them just being in a random order.

Contact by Duplicate Name Report in RedTail
When running the Contact by Duplicates names report in RedTail, clients with the same name but different SSNs and Addresses show as Duplicate clients in RedTail even though they are different people.

I HAVE A MILLION DOLLAR IDEA FOR REDTAIL. Since you already have a "knowledge base" for set up that you control for "how to things" I would like to propose a "knowledge base" for your advisors/staff that we could control to manage information. It would be seperate from yours but would be under our control for quick easy access for checklists, procedures, account and product information so we could save things from the internet and/or documentation (.pdfs videos, etc) for quick & easy access. NO CRM IN THE INDUSTRY HAS THIS and RT already has the technology built to use…
