Report by Activity Template or Search by Activity Template
Under Reports > Activity Reports, add the following option: Activities by Templates. This way one can easily find all the activities they've created from specific templates.
OR
Under Advanced Search, Add Type = Activity > Field = Activity Template Name, and value = all the templates we've created. We'd select a template and all the activities would display for that specific template.3 votes -
Workflow reports should organize by date
I cannot organize the Workflow Report by estimated completion date. I select the Est Completion Date and would like to organize by that column. However, it's not properly configured. It will appear as if it is organized by most recently completed, but it's organized numerically by mistake. So it shows as 1/16/2023 and then further down 2/01/2024 etc. This makes it extremely hard to view the workflow report and difficult to use it. If I switch the filter the other way, it still doesn't work.

More extensive family tree capabilities
The family tree that you can build out currently is extremely limited and linear - you should be able to build out siblings with their spouses and children. The membership section is out of the way and awkward to use.

Make a way to where we can search seminars by name.
Make a search bar where we can search for seminars by name, date, location, etc. This would make it significantly easier than by just scrolling.

Allow checkboxes within Activities
It would be great if we could have checkboxes within Activities to check off steps as they are completed. For example, Evernote's shortcut is [].

Increase the number of Departments Customize Fields.
More customizable fields than just four for departments would be helpful. Name, email, online, phone, or contact. The majority of the departments I work with have phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, websites, and login credentials. The fax number is now shown to me under the Contact card on the right. I have to linger over the department fax number till the name displays in order for me to know whether it is the correct one. Having to look at twelve different work fax numbers strains my eyes greatly.

I'd like to see all of a clients activities in chronological order with the ability to sort from begging to end and vice versa

Add a description box in "create activity"
PLEASE...consider adding a "description" box when clicking one creates an activity so it can be done all at once instead of having to go to "create and edit"...and by doing this, only ONE email goes out to the recipient, not two (the original "create" email and then the "edit" email).

Workflow Step Due Date - Add date of creation
Normally when workflows are created we have to select the due dates for the step based on "before target date", "on target date", or "after target date". Can we add an option for the due date to be "day of creation" or possibly choosing a time that is based on "after creation date.

"No Contact" report should be based on Activity Start date - not the Activity edit date
The current report is evaluating the activity edit date as the "DAYS SINCE LAST CONTACT". Advisors need to know the last time they met with a client, not the last time someone in the office edited and activity. Change the date to the Activity Start Date.

Calendly + Activity + Redtail Calendar + Workflow + Automations
Connecting Calendly links &/or Outlook calendar into Activity Templates, where specific Calendly links can be embedded into Activity Templates &/or is synced into Redtail / Outlook calendar.
It would be ideal to have automations set up where workflows are triggered based on contacts/ emails autonomously scheduling meetings based on Category &/or Types.
Instead of having Calendly to do stuff on their end, why can't Redtail just sync Outlook calendar into Redtail's calendar, so it knows when we have meetings and who those meetings are with based on the associated email to the Outlook calendar event and the Redtail contacts, where…

Combining Workflows
Create a section in Workflows that allows us to combine workflows into a big workflow of workflows, similar to how mind mapping software is set up. Then allow us to search clients & see which workflow they're currently in, where they are in the client process across all the different workflows, and who is assigned responsibility to that specific task for the contact. Then add the ability to see all contacts across the client process and which workflow they're currently assigned to.

Add Activity "Status" Field
Add a status field to Activities.
Example:
"New"
"Working"
"Pending Client Response"
"Submitted to Custodian"Etc.

There needs to be more ability to choose fields to lock down and prevent advisors from changing data.
enable fields such as status, source, category, servicing and writing advisor, key words, UDFs, account status to be locked down to prevent another user from changing.

Customize my Sidebar
In Outlook or Yahoo mail I can add folders to my sidebar. I think it would be very useful to customize frequently used items onto the menu bar.
I want to add certain frequently used workflows and reports to the sidebar. This would save the user from having to go through the menus of Reports>workflow reports>workflow tasks> tasks assigned to me by others.

Let us be able to delete all items in lists
For account types (and other lists like activity type, etc) there are some choices I am not able to delete. I'd love for that not to be the case so for account types every account type available and shown to us are the ones applicable to us. I am never going to call an account type brokerage or cash & equivalents because I use type as registration type and those two aren't mutually exclusive. That list in particular is cluttered up with 50+ undeletable fields of which I'd only keep 15.

Color code workflows based on categories
It would be great to be able to color code a workflow based on the category type similar to the way we can with activities based on the type if task.

Please add templates to Opportunities
Please add the template feature here. It would also be nice to be able to search insurance or investment companies we are using for each opportunities. It would make tracking commissions easier.

Enable the ability to view your email password under email settings & preferences
Allow users to see what password they have entered when setting up email preferences to confirm the password was entered correctly.

Create Dynamic Tag Groups
There should be two types of tag groups that can be created: static and dynamic. Currently, all tag groups are static. I would like the ability to create a tag group that will automatically add contacts that meet certain criteria. Essentially, I want a combination of a quick list and a tag group. The marketing software that we use has the ability to import tag groups and sync them nightly, but it is tedious adding each advisors new contacts to tag groups manually.
