    There is a side bar selection called ASSETS/LIABILITIES. That is 50% of a balance sheet. The other 2 categories are INCOME & EXPENSES. I never use this because there is no reason to put 2 categories and the other 2 some else. Please add income & expenses and it will be VERY USEFUL.

  2. Enable Uploaded Image Editing and Text Selection

    In the growth plan you enable image viewing. Why not make the images editable and immediately saveable from within the Redtail Imaging platform?

    I suggest you enable the images to be edited the same way a PDF document is editable, preferably with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) capability which would allow limited copy and pastecapability, but at least with white out and text addition capability.

    Additionally, you could allow saving the edited image as a new image with a different filename, to allow a record.

  3. income

    Add an income tab that shows the gross and net amounts, where the funds are being distributed from, any tax withholding, date of distribution and where the funds are going.

  4. Workflow Roles

    We are reworking our Workflows and have multiple advisors and multiple support staff. We would like to be able to have one workflow that we use for each person and support person but it seems that we need a copy of each workflow per advisor and then per support person. There is an option to use roles to assign people when creating a workflow but that is not functional right now and roles are limited to advisors and not support people. If there is another way to limit the workflows by advisor and support staff, we are open to it…

  5. Cancelling Activity Option

    It would be nice to have a cancelled activity option -- so when clients call in to cancel appointments we can just "save and cancel". So, the activity would then disappear from the calendar but would still remain an activity under the client profile. It would help clean up the calendars so we can see the events/activities that actually occurred that day.

  6. Family Categories and Status

    It would be nice if we could specify Categories (e.g. Client, Prospect, etc.) and Status (e.g. Active, Inactive) for Families so that we can quickly identify those when running reports/searches at the Family level, as well as for segmentation purposes.

  8. Why do the notes we are notified about only appear under notifications?

    We receive emails when tagged in a note, but there is no way to see a list of the notes we have been tagged in on the website. Could there be a section under "Notes" in the "Today" view to display all the notes we have been tagged in? I also think it would be beneficial if they showed up under the bell icon, as that is where notifications are supposed to be on the website. papa's scooperia

  9. Document upload on "opportunities" and "contacts"

    My team would like to suggest that documents added to an "opportunity" can then be transferred to a contact if that opportunity becomes a client.
    It is very tedious to save and move all of the documents that multiple team members have linked to an opportunity throughout our appointment process.

    There is a place to link a contact to an opportunity; one linked, this should allow transfer of documents.

  10. Redtail Speak area codes

    I was excited to get set up and use Redtail Speak for compliant client texting, but I was really disappointed when my area code (210) was not available for Redtail Speak. Please keep adding area codes for Redtail Speak... with a special request for area code 210.

  11. Add a "most used" to sort team members to task a new activity

    When tasking, team members are sorted alphabetically, it would be nice to have the option to have the person/ people you task most frequently listed at the top.

  12. PUT PAGE NUMBERS OF ACTIVITIES AT TOP AS WELL AS BOTTOM

    Put the page tabs at the top of the activities list as well as at the bottom. Often I know the activity is on page 2 and have to scroll to the bottom to click on that page.

  13. Opportunity Filter Settings Dropdown So that "Me" is the First Option

    When you click on the drop down feature in Calendar view, in the drop down menu the top choice is for "me". Opportunities should have the same feature. 99.99% of the time I am working with "Opportunities" I am filtering for my own results and I have to scroll down the long list of names to find mine.

  14. Sorting UDF's

    Sorting in UDF's. Currently impossible to sort with numbers in the prefix of UDF name. 10 Comes before 2 in the list. Appears to only be looking at the first digit, not the string of digits.

  15. ADD PERMANENT/HARD-CODED FIELDS DEDICATED FOR CLIENTS' INSURANCE INFORMATION

    We need Red Tail to ADD hard-coded fields for the following clients' insurance information:
    Insurance Carrier
    Type of Insurance
    Face Value/Face Amount/Death Benefit
    Premium Frequency
    Premium Amount/Modal Premium
    Insurance Issue Date
    Owner, Joint Owner, Insured 1, Insured 2
    An additional "Insurance" box in the "Financials" section of the Contact Page in RT would be an appropriate place for these fields.
    An Ability for this additional insurance section to be dynamic would be preferred, meaning that an ability to add multiple policies would be great.

  17. SHOW MINI CALENDAR POP UP FOR SCHEDULING CONFLICTS

    When a scheduling conflict arises in RedTail, a red notice appears at the bottom of the screen, but offers no alternative open time slots to use. When creating an activity/task/appointment/follow-up, for oneself and/or someone else, there is an issue with finding alternative open time slots when time conflicts arise. Our suggestion is to have a small pop up mini-calendar window showing open time slots to schedule activities for oneself and also on someone else's calendar.

  18. "Date Updated" to Templates

    Add a "Date Updated" column in addition to the existing "Date Added" so we know the last time an update was made to the templates, especially the "Activity Templates". I've been going in and updating all our templates. Currently, the "Date Added" is only referring to the initial creation. It's helpful to see when the last time it was updated.

  20. Disable External User - Admin Rights

    Currently when you add external users from another database, their Admin rights follow to the guest database. The guest database should be able to block admin rights to their own database.
