Default activities display
It would be a solid feature to add to activities to have options for past and present. For myself if I could see past due, today and the next 7 days of activities by default, that would be ideal. Thank you.

Bulk Actions for Professional Contacts
It would be nice to add the Bulk Actions ability for Professional Contacts. Examples:
1) A firm wants to assign a Profession type of "Tax Preparer" to multiple contacts.
2) The Tax Preparer in step 1 leaves and a firm wants to reassign the "Tax Preparer" profession to another Professional Contact entry.1 vote -

Please create an integration between Red Tail and Securian Financials' Minnesota Life E-Application iPipeline system so that clients basic information is auto populated. Thank you!

create a feature where we can "turn off" the automatic update to the clients review date
It would be helpful to know when a clients review is overdue. When the system automatically updates the review date to the following year it makes it very difficult to figure out who may need to be contacted again. Even if there was a report made that we can run to give us a list of all clients whos review dates were auto-updated by the system would be helpful

Client review dates should NOT auto change
This is, literally, the MOST IMPORTANT thing that advisors need to stay on top of for compliance purposes. In our firm, MOST reviews do not necessarily happen exactly on time. There are all sorts of reasons for this. The "next review date" should NOT CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY.
This should cycle on an annual (or quarterly, whatever is decided basis) based on a MANUALLY entered "most recent review" date. Then, I should be able to run a report so that I easily know which reviews are overdue.
This is absolutely CRITICAL. C-R-I-T-I-C-A-L.

Comments in Linked Notes
In Activities, under Linked Notes, it would be beneficial to add an indicator (maybe an astrick) to a note when someone has added a comment. There is no way of knowing if someone has commented, unless you open the note.

Bank Account Type
Under Bank Account - add a field/checkbox to tell what type of account it is (ie: Checking, Savings, etc.)

Activity/ Task Lock
Only allow the person that completed a task to unlock and edit the activity. Along with a time stamp

Task/ Activity Check Box
On the calendar screen with all of your tasks/activities... each task/activity should have a small check box in a corner, so that you can select multiple tasks/activities at once for drag and drop, delete, re-assign, and re-schedule...the current method is very buried and not time efficient.

Activity "Owner" gets notifications via email without being a linked attendee
As an Activity Owner, bring back that the Owner gets notifications emailed to them when there are updates and also completed. This feature disappeared somehow? (the only way to get updates is to be a linked attendee which can clog up a calendar when I'm giving my assistant a bunch of activities)

Transfer of Contact Info When a Client is Deceased
We need a way to transfer information from the contact card of a spouse when the head of household passes away. When we delete the existing family and make the living spouse head of household, it does not carry over any contact info, and it has to be input manually. This is not only cumbersome, it leaves room for errors.

workflow trigger opportunity
It would be very helpful to have a workflow automatically trigger an opportunity. For example, when we have a lead we start a workflow. Instead of having the first step in the workflow be to create an opportunity, it would be helpful if the opportunity would be automatically created and then we could go in and update the opportunity with additional details.

Meeting Invite
Please add a meeting invite feature in the calendar. Currently, my Redtail calendar items automatically export to my Google Calendar. From there, I have to invite meeting attendees. Please add this feature inside of Redtail.

Calendar view - Allow to view calendar by week, month, etc. that is not in list form. but in calendar form. Similar to google calendar.

Thinner "regular" text to differentiate bold text
I think we should make the text in descriptions for workflows a little thinner, so it's easier to differentiate BOLD and unbolded text. In the regular description boxes, activities and notes, it is easy to differentiate, but in workflows, it's a little harder to differentiate what is bolded and what is NOT bolded.

Add Contact History Tab to Client Profiles
It would be beneficial to have a section on a client's profile where we can record our contacts/attempted contacts with them. I see that there is an "Email history" tab, but this would be for both attempted email and phone correspondence. While this information could be recorded in the "Notes" section, we would prefer to keep that space reserved for things like client meeting notes, summaries of client conversations, etc.

Workflow
We need workflow functionality added to the Redtail app. When we are prospecting and not by our computers, we should be able to add a prospect to a workflow from an existing template.
This will reduce redundancy of efforts, eliminate unnecessary communication updating coworkers on what we've done, improve correctness in timestamping events, and ensuring tasks get complete.

more than 30 days out
It would be great to see upcoming activities, that are further out than 30 days, on the client's main screen, instead of having to click on activities. It would give more of an "at a glace" feature, rather than digging deeper to find something. For example, it would be helpful to see upcoming appointments we’ve created an activity for that is more than 30 days out, without clicking on activities.

Workflows Page - the Filter and Complete Buttons
When I am on the Workflow page, and I filter for workflows assigned to me there are some wonky outcomes. Two in particular.
1.If I select say three workflows by clicking the box next to the workflow and then hit "Complete" button. The workflows "DO NOT GET COMPLETED"
- If I take action on this screen and want to go back to the screen to see my other workflows - I need to start the entire screening process all over again.
I would like to see the same filtered results as opposed having to start over every single I try to…
