  1. Bulk Complete Workflow

    I can currently bulk delete and add workflows and add notes or tag groups to groups of people in a workflow. However, I cannot bulk complete a workflow step or a workflow task. We have workflow tasks that can be completed in bulk by adding tag groups. It would be wonderful if we could then bulk complete that task and step.

  2. Under Workflow Steps - Where the "Mail Merge" Option is, there should be an "E-Mail Merge" as an option

    When establishing a workflow Step, it asks if you want to do a "Mail Merge". You should also be able to choose to do an E-mail Merge from a template.

    I'd like to be able to pull an exportable list of clients who's birthday is today.

  4. Link child/grandchild with Head of Household

    Link child/grandchild dependent on the family tree to the head of household - allowing for the creation of a report that lists all clients with (as an example) children who are 14-16 years of age (pre-college). This will require some way to link the logic of a child/grandchild to the Head of Household. Example: allow a firm to create a report of all parents with pre-college kids to hold a targeted presentation.

  5. Popup alert or notification to confirm when you drag a calendar event

    We have an issue where events, seminars, or appointments will accidentally get dragged to a different time or day on the calendar.
    When changes are made by dragging, the change isn't even noted in the "Timeline" for the activity. There needs to be a popup when you drag an event or appointment that said, "Are you sure you would like to make this change?"

  6. Option to view all activities

    Please add option to view all activities under a client records. Changing the date range every time I'm in a contact is a lot of clicks.

  7. Seminar Attendee Export as CSV

    Add the ability to export list of seminar attendees as a CSV with information including their Redtail ID.
    Ideally you would be able to select multiple seminars from the page and export all the attendees at each seminar in one sheet.

  8. Family Report

    When running a Family report you can only do it on one client. Please consider a way to run a family report on all clients at the same time so you do not have to go to each client one by one to run the report. We would like to have one report that lists all family members for each client. When running a membership report some children do not have the same last name as their parents so they are not listed with the parent they are some where else on the report according to their name.   9. Custom Export Options

    We need to the ability to export all fields that we spend time entering data into. There are several areas of the CRM that contain important that are not available in the custom export. AND we DO NOT want to have to run several reports to capture the information.. give us the ability to export OUR OWN CLIENT DATA and quite advising us to go all around the software to get it. Please implement as I see there are SEVERAL requests for this being ignored.

  10. membership automatic set up

    It would be nice if some of the membership relationships could be set up automatically when the membership is intuitive. Maybe an option or check box that says, "would you like to automatically add this relationship to: bob brewer, jenny jones and michelle miller". Lets say steve brewer, bob , jenny and michelle are all brothers and sisters; kate brewer is steve's wife . I add mike brewer as steve's father.   12. conference room availability

    Iif multiple advisors share a single conference room then have a way for us to see quickly (maybe an icon on the activity) that represents the activity taking place in the conference room. Similar to your upcoming feature of telling advisors they have double booked themselves this would tell an advisor that a room is double booked. To make this work properly we would need to be able to add a few set locations that we can easily select (while still having the ability to put in a one time address when appropriate.

  13. notification of calendar activity

    I want to be able to receive some kind of pop up reminder when a calendar activity is due. For example, 10 or 20 or 30 minutes (customizable) before an appointment or phone call, a POP UP reminder. The alert feature on the today page only works if Redtail is the top "window" open, and the dog barking system, while cute, is not at all effective.

  14. Contact Options - Reports

    Hello. Please make a change to allow the Reports under Contact Options to be customized. It would be fantastic if we could custom select which fields we want to include in these reports. Thanks for your consideration.

  15. Open Activities

    I created a new activity type - outstanding issue to mark those things where we have reached out to the client but not heard back from them so the issue is still outstanding. Normally I'd put this in important information but that field is too easy to ignore (until you fix that, right?). My thought was to just add a date on those activities for the end of next year but I realized I can't easily see that.   16. Add Contact Name to Notification Subject Line

    For new activities: Add name of contact in email subject other than "Redtail CRM: An activity has been updated." This will allow us when viewing the many notifications for daily RT activities to pick and choose which ones to look at or address immediately. If an activity is updated 2 or 3 times, there are 2 or 3 notifications. This is okay but it makes it redundant and not timely to look at most critical activities first. Especially in a busy environment where activities are getting updated and added quite a bit throughout the day.

  18. multiple contact status and categories

    It would be great if we could select multiple status and categories for contact records. For instance, we have business relationship - Active for a Contact Status. I would like to be able to select more than one Category, for instance COI and Vendor.

  19. Report that will run last Client Review date

    Due to the glitch in the next review date. We are missing some of our clients actual review date. Since the glitch hasn't been fixed we need the ability to run a report versus having to go through each client to check to see if they were missed. The report for last activity is not an accurate report for this either. This glitch causes a problem with meeting our compliance date for each annual review.

  20. Remove Closed Accounts from Reporting Under Account Type

    When you click on accounts and see the graph for what type of accounts make up your client base, the closed accounts are still reflected. This does not depict an accurate picture of our clientele. Including the data skews what type of accounts we should be focusing on for our firm. Please do not include closed account in reporting function. They are closed and should not be considered relevant data to the existing database. However we should not have to delete them entirely because we might have important notes of past history tied to those accounts. Just disable them from…
