  1. Family Split Option

    If a family unit splits off - child as an adult - or divorce ... easily split off clients onto there own family unit.

  2. Activity/ Task Lock

    Only allow the person that completed a task to unlock and edit the activity. Along with a time stamp

  3. Task/ Activity Check Box

    On the calendar screen with all of your tasks/activities... each task/activity should have a small check box in a corner, so that you can select multiple tasks/activities at once for drag and drop, delete, re-assign, and re-schedule...the current method is very buried and not time efficient.

  4. Activity "Owner" gets notifications via email without being a linked attendee

    As an Activity Owner, bring back that the Owner gets notifications emailed to them when there are updates and also completed. This feature disappeared somehow? (the only way to get updates is to be a linked attendee which can clog up a calendar when I'm giving my assistant a bunch of activities)

  5. seminar tag group

    Add option to add contacts to a seminar via a tag group! When you have 700+ clients and are inviting them all to a client picnic, it is a pain to add them one at a time!

  6. Feature to manually link Redtail email to a Redtail CRM contact.

    Salesforce CRM has ability to manually associate an email from any source to a specific CRM contact. We are users of both Redtail CRM and Redtail eMail. When discussing a specific client case with a third party (ie our BD service team) I would like to be able to link that email conversation to the client's CRM contact record. Was told the best way to do that is to copy and paste the email into notes. That seems onerous at best. Can your developers create an option to allow for manual selection of email to CRM contact? Thanks.

  7. Transfer of Contact Info When a Client is Deceased

    We need a way to transfer information from the contact card of a spouse when the head of household passes away. When we delete the existing family and make the living spouse head of household, it does not carry over any contact info, and it has to be input manually. This is not only cumbersome, it leaves room for errors.

  8. Meeting Invite

    Please add a meeting invite feature in the calendar. Currently, my Redtail calendar items automatically export to my Google Calendar. From there, I have to invite meeting attendees. Please add this feature inside of Redtail.

    Calendar view - Allow to view calendar by week, month, etc. that is not in list form. but in calendar form. Similar to google calendar.

  10. Thinner "regular" text to differentiate bold text

    I think we should make the text in descriptions for workflows a little thinner, so it's easier to differentiate BOLD and unbolded text. In the regular description boxes, activities and notes, it is easy to differentiate, but in workflows, it's a little harder to differentiate what is bolded and what is NOT bolded.

  11. Stop requiring different passwords for different parts of redtail

    There should not be three different logins to go from Redtail CRM, to Redtail Feedback, and Redtail Support. Change it to one password to get to all three.....

  12. Add Contact History Tab to Client Profiles

    It would be beneficial to have a section on a client's profile where we can record our contacts/attempted contacts with them. I see that there is an "Email history" tab, but this would be for both attempted email and phone correspondence. While this information could be recorded in the "Notes" section, we would prefer to keep that space reserved for things like client meeting notes, summaries of client conversations, etc.

  14. Support Chat Bubble

    The current chat bubble that shows in the bottom right really should be moved to the bottom left so that it's out of the way of being able to see a clients overall account values when looking at the account tab. Currently it blocks the total value and you can't click and move it anywhere else.

  15. Workflow

    We need workflow functionality added to the Redtail app. When we are prospecting and not by our computers, we should be able to add a prospect to a workflow from an existing template.

    This will reduce redundancy of efforts, eliminate unnecessary communication updating coworkers on what we've done, improve correctness in timestamping events, and ensuring tasks get complete.

  16. more than 30 days out

    It would be great to see upcoming activities, that are further out than 30 days, on the client's main screen, instead of having to click on activities. It would give more of an "at a glace" feature, rather than digging deeper to find something. For example, it would be helpful to see upcoming appointments we’ve created an activity for that is more than 30 days out, without clicking on activities.

  17. Workflows Page - the Filter and Complete Buttons

    When I am on the Workflow page, and I filter for workflows assigned to me there are some wonky outcomes. Two in particular.

    1.If I select say three workflows by clicking the box next to the workflow and then hit "Complete" button. The workflows "DO NOT GET COMPLETED"

    1. If I take action on this screen and want to go back to the screen to see my other workflows - I need to start the entire screening process all over again.

    I would like to see the same filtered results as opposed having to start over every single I try to…

  18. Client task bar

    What would really be helpful is an open task bar on each contact. It would be a bar or section on the side that you could add editable ongoing notes about what is going on with this client. Things and info that you need right away. For example: Do not text this client - always call, remember this for our next meeting, these are things we are working on or toward, We are doing this on this account, etc. Things that are already in their notes, but quick and easy to see and can be changed as you go forward.…

    CPS Investment Advisors services external Co-advisor firms, culminating in our establishment of a primary home Redtail database along with 24 supplementary Redtail databases. While with Orion we have a single unified database, Redtail specifically suggested the deployment of distinct databases as the only way to partition clients. This ensures each outside co-advisor firm we service only sees their own designated clients. This proposal was grounded in the commitment that navigating between these databases would be fluid by “Switching” into our other Redtail databases in managing all clients that we service across…

  20. An appointment feature where we can automatically rollover tasks

    A feature when we are adding tasks to the calendar, that if the producer(or appointment setter) doesn't mark them as complete then they automatically rollover to the next day on the producers calendar. That way a client doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
