  1. On Imports do not create a duplicate contact if there is a matching name and email in the system already

    On Imports do not create a duplicate contact if there is a matching name and email in the system already. Other CRM's do this, you can make it optional based on preference and then create an output from the import process that shows which ones were not imported. This is critical for a process I have to do.

  2. Add capability on imports to not create duplicate entry if there is already a matching name and email address, just skip that entry

    Add capability on imports to not create duplicate entry if there is already a matching name and email address, just skip that entry. Other CRMs have this capability and then generate a report of the ones skipped. Can make it optional in case someone wants dups

  3. Orion integration - add ability to link to more than one database or choose which database to link to

    Our firm has a parent database and a child database in Orion. We are unable to link our Orion child database to RT because currently it will only allow one database to be linked. In this instance we would want the child database to be linked but not the parent database. Having the ability to pick one over the other is helpful or having the ability to link more than one database would solve our current problem.

  4. Vault feature

    Consider adding a "Vault" feature to Redtail CRM or as a separate module that would allow the secure transfer of documents between clients and advisors.

  5. Running Reports that show the created date of any given workflow

    Enhance the reporting to where it's possible to run a report for the created date of any given workflows. This will be extraordinarily helpful from an analytics perspective because it will allow us to track the ebbs & flows of a firm's volume along with identifying trends in business that will help to inform the firm.

  7. Emails search

    I need to be able to search clients WITHOUT an active/primary email. The search "without email" leaves out those elderly clients who no long able have an active email or don't communicate via email. We have archived their email to save email history but then by default we leave them off our call list because they are left out of the search client WITHOUT emails because system is picking up the archived email - which isn't active anymore.

  8. Add “After the previous step” button to “Step Due” category in a workflow

    The workflow needs an option to set a steps due date a certain amount of time after the previous step has been completed. This is an issue I see comments for back in 2020 and the issue is still not fixed. This is such a simple fix that would only require an added button to the "Step Due" category! Here are just a few of the complaints:

  9. More options when sending broadcast emails

    It would be good to have additional options when sending broadcast emails. Such as "Choose primary" or "Choose Business" when sending these, so it just doesn't go to one email.

    I use the Month view. I would like the screen to default to the week which includes the current date.

  12. Disable Integrations

    Admins should be able to disable integrations for users. (So users cannot connect random integrations and pull in a bunch of junk info.)

  13. Recurring/Repeat Activities

    I see a strong need for REPEAT activities to be changed, even though this might seem like a small idea it could possibly be very beneficial to many Redtail users. As an example, when I want to add an activity that will repeat in October on the second Wednesday of the month, it is impossible. I can only add an activity that will be repeated on the same date, next year. Please add the option to schedule on the first through the last of the month (Weekly), Monday through Sunday (Possibly Multiple Days like the option that is already implemented…

  14. Activity template search

    When you go to create an activity template, have a search bar to filter all the templates. We have over 30 templates for varies jobs. It would be great to have a search bar to narrow down what we are looking for instead of scrolling through a list. DocuSign has a great feature of creating an envelope from a list of templates with a search bar at the top.

  15. Search Engine (Search Anything, Universal Search, Full Database Search)

    Redtail is missing a search anything option (full database search) similar to a search engine capability like Google. For example, if a user recalls something like a name, note, or something else they entered into a contact but doesn't recall what field this is in, they should be able to do a database search for that information. Lacking this functionality creates unnecessary work for your customers, and most of your competitors offer this.

  16. Allow tag groups to be edited via automations.

    Pretty straight forward, give us the ability to add/remove tag groups via automations. This would allow us to more effectively managed the integrations we have with RT.

    Preferably we would have to edit most of the fields found in the advanced search

    It would be outstanding for the client review reminder to be a triggering event for automations. Currently when the client review date passes it automatically updates for the next year, which does not help advisors when running reports.

  18. create a feature where we can "turn off" the automatic update to the clients review date

    It would be helpful to know when a clients review is overdue. When the system automatically updates the review date to the following year it makes it very difficult to figure out who may need to be contacted again. Even if there was a report made that we can run to give us a list of all clients whos review dates were auto-updated by the system would be helpful

  19. workflow trigger opportunity

    It would be very helpful to have a workflow automatically trigger an opportunity. For example, when we have a lead we start a workflow. Instead of having the first step in the workflow be to create an opportunity, it would be helpful if the opportunity would be automatically created and then we could go in and update the opportunity with additional details.

  20. Make "Lets Talk" Chat Bubble Moveable

    PLEASE make the "Lets Talk" chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen minimizable, closeable, or at the very least MOVEABLE. It's in the way of information we utilize and its INFURIATING.
