Print Workflow Templates
When creating a workflow template, please provide the option to "Print" your workflow template. This would be helpful when a team is working on creating the individual steps in each workflow.

family tree & relationship within client profile
Have the ability to state/link who the parents are outside of the current family option. The current option only allows dependents and, if that dependent were to become a client, shows their accounts as well.
This improvement would help users identify family connections with individuals with divorces parents or a parent(s) that are deceased. It could be displayed in a box similar to "health information" with blanks for "mother:" and "father:_". This plus the "status" option of "related to client" would help bridge name/family changes.10 votes -
Combine 3 reports into 1: Personal Profile Report, Family Report and Beneficiary Report
It would be very helpful in our meeting preparation to combine the following reports into one: Personal Profile Report, Family Report and Beneficiary Report and "make it pretty", as in the PDF format those 3 reports generate in. The custom reports generate in an excel spreadsheet and not easy to read.

Add an option for a checklist in udf fields
Rather than having a dropdown or blank field etc, we'd like to have a checklist with 12 different line items and then for each contact have the ability to check off or even add notes to the line items

Pinned Notes Should Appear On Client Dashboard
I came to add this suggestion but found it was already mentioned. Years ago. But nothing was ever implemented. It seems like it would be an easy fix and feels like it should be common sense feature, but if you have a note that is important enough that you want to pin it, why can't that note appear at the top of the Recent Notes on the client dashboard. Or at least somewhere on the main dashboard. Feels like it sort of defeats the purpose of highlighting a note if I have to navigate to another section to be reminded…

Orion Household Linking for Spouses
Currently, a contact in RedTail links to the Orion household with matching Tax ID. This is great, except when I try to link spouses to the household. Currently, the spouse would have a separate household. This is not practical since most couples want their assets together. Please look into the additional household members Tax ID being picked up for linking households in addition to the main Tax ID - or maybe there is a way to manually select a household to link a contact to.

AUM Tracking by Service Advisor added to Dashboard
I would like to see our total AUM (not a rounded number) for the company and the breakdown of AUM for each Service Advisor on the dashboard

Activity By Contact Report - Add Column
When running a Activities by Contact report, it would be helpful to add a column for the date the activity was created. We have a number of activities where the start and end dates are changed, so being able to filter by created date would be extremely helpful.

Flag accounts
Flagging a clients account will give us the ability to pay attention more to any particular client. This could be similar to when you mark a client deceased in Redtail, it's bolded in RED at the top of the page. This would make it easier if you are needing to grab the attention of your assistance, due to waiting on the client to call back in after several outgoing calls in attempt to get them on the calendar for an appointment. Or if your waiting on a payment from the client.
This would be very helpful.

Default Permissions
When working with multiple teams, there should be a way to default all records associated with a contact to the permissions assigned to the contact. It is a manual and multi-step process to ensure all activities, notes, etc related to a contact are set to the same permissions as that of the contact. This should be accomplished either through automation and/or be able to be set by the admin to apply throughout the instance. By defaulting to a set team and then having to make a manual adjustment to assign to a different user, team or role makes a lot…

Notes Report
It would be helpful if we could print the Notes Report for a specific account for a client. Ex. If a client wants to talk about their IRA, we have to print a Note Report that includes all notes for all accounts, which requires us to search through the report to highlight the notes for the IRA if the client has multiple accounts.

Ability to turn on/off the automatic notes generated from completed workflows & activities
When a Redtail Workflow or Activity is completed, the system automatically generates a note in the client's Notes tab. We would like the ability to control if that is automatic or not because we are having to go in and delete them manually to keep our notes section clean. We can always reference completed Activities and Workflow summaries, so this seems redundant, especially because the note that is generated is not detailed and rather more of a summary.

Please consider making "Discretionary" a field for custom export.
We are required to disclose this on our annual ADV report. The information is stored. It would be nice if we could access it. Thank you.

Account UDF
When creating a UDF with the list of values, it would be great to have the ability to create an "other" option with an editable field (even if small limited in characters)

Redtail Mobile App 3.0+ View Household Members
When going to visit clients we like to ask how the family is doing. While on the road we like to review the clients info so that we better know our client when we walk in the door. Names are important for us so If we can view household members and link them to a contact record that would finally allow us to move from Outlook notes to being fully covered with just the RedTail mobile app. I know there are similar ideas out there but with the new mobile app update I wanted to iterate how knowing our client…

Next Workflow Task Due Dates Updated to Current Date Once Previous Step Completes
Our target dates often get passed by in workflows based on client response times or processing issues with the custodian. When this happens and a step is completed the next step is triggered but already past due. If the person that completes the previous step doesn't update it, the person assigned to the next triggered step/task can easily miss it. It would be great if a task that was past due in a workflow could update to the current date when it is triggered by the previous step being completed.

Allow to complete multiple workflow tasks on Today page without refreshing the screen every time.
When viewing Today page, when I click "complete" next to a workflow to complete the current step, I have to refresh the entire page before I can click on complete again for that workflow or the next. It didn't use to be this way.
