custom contact type
We want to track internal projects by creating a contact for each dept and assigning tasks to it and recording notes for our progress on each task. For example, we have created a Contact Category called "Internal Projects", a contact called "Marketing", then we assigned a task called "Business Card Redesign". So when we meet about this item, we record our notes in a meeting assigned to the attendees and the Marketing contact. We would love to see any Notes placed into Outlook be synced to the Notes section in Redtail via Retriever for Tailwag app.

udf layout customization
It would be great to be able to customize the UDF section layout as well as add collapsable areas for specific info.
ex - a collapsible area titled RMD's with the fields being 2019, 2020, 2021 etc.
ex - A collapsible area titled IRA contributions with the fields being 2019, 2020, 2021 etc.
The titled area would be able to be named and edited

rider report
Can we add a filter where we can pull a report with all of the riders listed? I know we have one with the rider reminders, but can we pull one where it lists the client's names, accounts, and riders?

Scan a document into notes section using the app
I would like a scan function in the app, so when I am handed a document or take notes by hand on the road I can go to a client's note section in the app and scan it in.

Add Keywords/Tags to Activities
We wish we could add tags or keywords to activities. Right now, we use categories to differentiate between things like client reviews, new account appointments, and processing tasks (RMD, Account Update, etc). For something like an account review, our advisors would like an easy way to note all the topics discussed. Retirement plans, general account review, estate planning, health insurance - these are all topics that may come up in a client review meeting (but not every time). For now they're just adding regular notes and relying on text searches. But if there were a way to add this option…

Audit History for Editing Notes
Notes could use an audit history to track edits made. Right now there is no way to edit notes because of compliance and it actually makes it harder to be compliant. Instead, people take handwritten notes or use the important information area in Redtail for notes. If people do make notes, they do not always realize they cannot edit and will keep copying and pasting new notes until their note is final. People do not read the comments and don't want to make a comment for a change in a field that was in a note template.

Filter Client Review Reminders for each individual advisor
We want to be able to filter the review reminders per advisor. Why is it still that you see everyone? It would also be helpful to be able to filter birthdays per user as well!

Please setup a two-way integration with Laserfiche.
The two-way integration with Laserfiche will allow for forms completed to populate client information, initiate workflows and tasks. Let's get this done. Thank you.

Start and Complete Date for Activities Reports
Please add the Start Date and Complete Date to the Activities reports. I want to be able to easily track how long it is taking for my team to complete certain tasks. That data is being recorded in the timeline, but it is not available in a report. I would like to avoid having to dig for that data.

Increase attachment size
Increase size of file allowed in email attachment - currently says nothing bigger than 5MB is allowed. Our PRs are larger than that size with all the graphics.

Complete & stop recurring activity, not JUST delete
Add ability to complete AND stop future recurring instances for an activity. By only having the choice to delete an instance now deletes all past activities for records & compliance.

restrict user from editing workflow templates/automations
We've recently run into an issue where a staff member was updating workflows and should not have been. It would be nice to restrict certain staff memebers from editing/adding new workflow templates and automations.

Please allow for templates in Important Information section.
At WFA Finet, the Important Information section was categorized in with the acronym F.O.R.M. This stood for Family, Occupation, Recreation, Money. We are creating our own template and copy/pasting on each client. It would be nice to just have it already on there.

Activity Start & End Date - Past Due
Activities should NOT show past due if the end date has not passed yet.
If Redtail is not able to adjust this right now can a column be added to the activity list view? "Start Date" & "End Date" that way we can at least see those dates in the list view?
We are not able to keep an accurate track record of the activities that are past due or the activities on someone's plate - including the time allotment for the task. What is the point of the end date field if it doesn't show on the activity list…9 votes -
I would love to see some shortcut typing option or autocorrect as you go along in the notes.
I would love to see autocorrect as you type in the notes section. Appreciate the spellcheck but as I type, it would be nice for it to correct as I type.
Also, maybe a shortcut typing option to type your notes quicker. For example, I type "MyRepChat" and do not like to abbreviate in the notes. It would be nice if I could type MRC and it pop out.

Edit all data on contact card by only pushing edit once
Instead of having to edit each different contact number, address or email separately, have the edit button open the whole box and be able to edit everything easier.

Email distinction for Internal vs. External
RT captures all email history for anyone with an email listed on the database. However, it has become an issue internally because email rights allow viewing private internal (HR) discussions. This has caused management to remove all employee emails from the RT database, so we can no longer research email history unless it is just between you and the client. This adds to going back in forth with other teammates to confirm if they spoke to a client or followed up on a particular issue. Please create a way to view all external emails, not emails that bear the same…
