  1. Radio button for selecting mailing address and physical address are the same

    There should be a radio button to designate that the mailing and physical address are the same without having to list the same address twice. It would make the client profile in Red Tail cleaner to look at, and would properly pull the address if home address is selected or if mailing address is selected.

  2. biometrics

    Is there a reason biometrics was removed as a login preference on the mobile app? Please stop making the app harder to use instead of easier and less secure instead of more secure.

    Show when users log out of Redtail and use as an employee timeclock.

  5. Add a "next" function

    Please add a "next" function that would allow us to page back and forth between client contact pages in alphabetical order.

  7. Text Message

    Would like the ability to filter out text messages when searching through client notes, or have text messages saved/captured in a separate spot (like emails are) instead; presently need to sift through dozens of text messages to find actual notes in each client file

  9. let's talk Button

    It would be great if we could have the option to either move the "Let's Talk" button that is currently in the bottom right corner of the calendar or close it completely.

  10. Make Activities in "read only" mode if someone else has it open.

    If two people have an Activity open there is the possibility of losing data. If both users edit the Activity and save it, only the last changes saved are kept. The first one to save has their data overwritten when the second one saves their changes. This is a huge problem. If someone opens a Word or Excel document to make changes, and then another opens it - the 2nd one is opened in read only mode. Something needs to be updated in Redtail so that we do not have the ability to lose changes made to Activities!

  11. workflow trigger opportunity

    It would be very helpful to have a workflow automatically trigger an opportunity. For example, when we have a lead we start a workflow. Instead of having the first step in the workflow be to create an opportunity, it would be helpful if the opportunity would be automatically created and then we could go in and update the opportunity with additional details.

  12. seminar tag group

    Add option to add contacts to a seminar via a tag group! When you have 700+ clients and are inviting them all to a client picnic, it is a pain to add them one at a time!

  13. account ownership

    For account ownership, it would be nice to be able to link from just the ownership contact feeds. For example, we have an insured child with both parents as owners. The policy cannot be linked to a note or activity unless the child is a linked contact.

  14. Need a fiancé option

    I need an option for my clients who are engaged. They are someone's fiancé. I wish I had the option to say that instead of "life partner".

  15. Tasks, Activities, and Events

    Redtail should differentiate tasks from actual events. Currently, everything is linked to an activity which clutters the calendar and makes it pretty unusable if you have a lot of tasks pending. I think Tasks should be separate and not added to the calendar (should only show up on the timeline). And actual events (appointments, etc.) should be added to the calendar.

  16. Allow data base owners to grant access to reports.

    The fact that only data base owners have access to reports forces CEOs to do CCOs' job. RedTail Speak is great. The fact that I have to have my CEO access the report, download it and send it to me is inefficient. I would think allowing data base owners to designate viewing rights would be logical. Thank you.

  17. Notice of Contact with same name

    We previously were able to see a notice at the top of the add contact page that a contact already exists with the same name. This isn't showing up anymore and was really helpful since we have a lead source that generates several leads per month. Can we get this added back?

  18. Business Clients - additional info needed.

    1. Business Clients need to have a field to list the "Owners".

    2. We have many that offer Simple IRA's that we use Keywords to pull reports, but it would be great to have a field on the contact card that allows this information at a glance.

  19. Clickable URL link in Activity Description

    We are allowed to insert an URL link in the activity description; however, when you try clicking the link - it does nothing.

    It would be nice to click the link that opens in a new tab window just like the add URL link in workflow does.

  20. Sorting tasks on the main page by overdue, today, and future

    Unless I go into the activity tab and filter to past due, or past due and today, etc. There is no easy way for me to see overdue tasks unless I manually keep pushing the due date.
